Alya was very excited and even the other girls too..But their excitement made the boys depressed for obvious reasons that girls love shopping but boys hate it...

Shadows Of Darkness..Part 23...

The whole gang drove to a swanky wedding galleria which specialised in the wedding outfits...Nandini and Navya looked around in amazement..Since Nandini loved weddings and traditional stuff she was glowing with those glitzy outfits all around her, her happiness was contagious and it did not escape Manik; he decided to treat his girl with the most expensive wardrobe ever...

They all walked into Manish Malhotra's studio.."What's the first occasion?" Alya asked... "Umm Engagement.. " Mukti said. "oh yes..Lets start.." Alya.. "Ok first we will do Cabir's shopping as guys won't take much time.." Manik said and the everyone else agreed.. Cabir choose a sky blue silk kurta for engagement, a dark green sherwani for sangeet, a white kurta for haldi and a royal blue sherwani with gold work for wedding.. "Cabir try a few more na..Yeh kya bas 4 nikale aur ho gaya.." Manik said trying to take few more kurtas and sherwani.."No Manik I don't want any more..these are enough yaar.." Cabir said.. "Yaar but how come so less ok we will make it up for the reception and bachelor's night we will but suits.." Manik winked..

Cabir's shopping wrapped up in just an hour now it was Dhruv's turn so Alya took charge and everyone else went to sleep knowing Alya and her shopping.. Alya took couple of hours to finalize Dhruv's outfits and announced that all the couples will be color coordinated in the wedding functions...Cabir and Navya were oh noes now what's this.. Dhruv was chilled as his shopping was done and Alya had to coordinate her outfits not him.. Manik and Nandini were the most excited couple as this was the first ever occasion they will be attending as a couple hand in hand in front of everyone no hiding...

Just as Manik was about to say something when Navya interrupted "I am hungry please lets go and eat something.. Given her condition everyone obliged and they all walked into the Pizzahut...They had a gala time eating pizzas, sharing jokes, prepping for the wedding and in between Manik and Nandini also squeezed in some romance too.. As Manik was sitting next to Nandini he held her hand and pulled her closer "So are you ready for your shopping Miss Murthy?" "What ready I wll buy with everyone na..so.." Nandini asked.. "No you are not..We are going separately for yours and mine.." Manik said.. "No Manik it won't look good..We came here to shop with our friends and we will shop with them.." Nandini insisted though she wanted Manik to choose everything for her and she also knew with everyone around its not possible..

But Manik was not in the mood to take a no.. He got and announced "guys I have decide to gift Nandini this wedding wardrobe so if you guys don't mind I would like to steal her from you all for this shopping?" He said with a smirk.. "No Manik we are not going anywhere else.." A baffled Nandini said.. "Nandini why are you even trying if he has decided means its done..Please carry on love birds..." Cabir said and winked.. Manik held Nandini's arm and took her out of the Pizzahut.. "Inka shopping kum and romance zyada hone wala hai..' Mukti said and they all laughed...

Manik and Nandini walked into Ritu Kumar's studio though Nandini was happy but she pretended to be angry which Manik Malhotra ignored royally...He walked straight in and started sorting outfits Nandini stomped her feet and followed him.. Manik choose a black and white lahnga for Nandini it had gold work all around it which added to its grace, he asked her to try this "or if you want you choose anything.." Manik asked her.. "I'll wear whatever you will select for me.." Nandini replied while blushing and went in with a girl for assistance... Manik was settled on the couch when few minutes later Nandini came out wearing a golden choli and a black and white gold worked lehnga teamed with a black duppatta..Manik could not not take his eyes off her.. "So this is done for the engagement..Do you like it?" He asked her.. "yes.." Nandini nodded while smiling.. Nandini took out a white kurta with a black Nehru Jacket and asked him to try...Manik looked absolutely stunning in that out fit and for a moment even Nandini was smitten by him...

For mehndi ceremony Manik choose a baby pink and blue lehnga with sequin work all over it and Manik choose a blue sherwani.. For haldi ceremony they both kept it simple with Nandini choosing a white and lemon yellow lehnga and Manik white kurta...Now it was the time for lehnga to be chosen for wedding ceremony for which Manik took out heavy zardozi worked maroon backless lehnga and asked Nandini to try it out..When Nandini went in to change and as it was a backless choli she called for assistance; Manik who was standing near by heard her and went in.. Nandini was taken aback when she saw Manik enter and locking the door.. "Manik what are you doing?" She panicked as to what if someone saw this..

"Manik go out someone might object.." Nandini said wrapping the transparent net dupptta around her slipping choli.. Manik did not utter a word as he was speechless by her beauty and kept walking towards her..He took the dupatta from her, threw it and slowly slid his hands across her bare midriff and pulled her closer to him..Manik caressed her bare back and started kissing it forcing Nandini to close her eyes...He untied the loosely held thread of the choli and removed it from her shoulders.. "Manik.." Nandini called as he turned her towards him and pinned her against the mirror. Nandini's grip over her was weakening as passion took over, Manik slowly removed her hand holding her choli and pinned it up. As his hands entwined into hers; he started kissing Nandini after a while Manik stopped to find Nandini all flushed and her eyes were still closed..

There was something about Nandini and her blushing that always turned on Manik and this time too he couldn't stop himself..He let go of her hands which wrapped him as soon as they were free.. Manik started kissing the neck and her cleavage as both of them forgot where they were.. Their madness for each other was increasing with every passing moment as they became in separable..Just a Manik was about to unzip her lehnga his phone rang which none of them heard in the heat of the moment..But the phone kept on ringing and Manik couldn't ignore. He answered the phone while trying to control his breathing.. "If you guys are done with your changing sessions we are waiting outside..." It was Cabir..They all were done with their shopping and waiting for these two...

Manik said "Coming.." He disconnected the phone and looked at a blushing and smiling Nandini.."This one is finalized for the wedding.." he kissed her neck as he said.. Nandini changed and as soon as Manik opened the changing room door he found the whole gang standing right outside the door.. Both Manik and Nandini were taken aback.. "What we told na we are standing outside.." Mukti winked as the rest were trying hard to stop their laughter leaving Manik Nandini red faced.. "Like this.." Manik mumbled.. "What?" Cabir asked.. "Nothing nothing.." Manik took Nandini's hand and walked off and the rest started laughing hysterically...

Manik went towards the billing counter and soon noticed that even the store staff was giggling silently at them he gave a stern look at them which silenced them..As they were walking out the store manager came and said "Sir you two are the best bride and groom we have ever seen and we have seen quite a few number of them but never a love like yours.." Manik and Nandini looked towards each other and smiled as they knew they arrived at a happy place in love where most people fail to reach even their whole lives..

Manik switched on the car and drove straight to Nandini's home..Just as he was about to call her, he received a call from her.. "Open the door.." "Come down.." Nandini and Manik said respectively.."Wait...open the door? Where are you?" Manik asked.. "I am at your house.." Nandini replied.. "What and I am at your house.." Manik said..

Manik and Nandini were both baffled to find each other at the other's house... "Nandini why did you go there??" Manik asked.. "I was missing you idiot that's why?" Nandini replied all pissed... "Acha wait I will come there.." Manik said.. "No you wait there I am coming.." Nandini ordered him and left for her house.. "What is this madness?? Why can't he stay at his home?? Doesn't he like his home or what?? One surprise I wanted to give him one surprise but yeh ladka na..ugghh.." Nandini cursed as she took a cab back home...

"Wow Nandini Murthy actually came down to my house as she was missing me..She's becoming Manik malhotra..Not bad.." Manik thought.. "Congratulations Manik if she's missing you that means she will think about moving in together..Come on Nandini think cause I need you, I want you.." Manik thought and prayed.. He was lying on the bonnet of his car looking at the stars when he heard a cab screech halt.. He got up to see Nandini get out of the cab..

She walked towards Manik who was smiling mischievously waiting for her.. She came close to him and started hitting him, Manik was a little taken aback..."Nandini stop it it.." He said while laughing hysterically.."arre lag rahi hai yaar.." But she was in no mood to listen to him..He finally held both her hands put them back and pinned her against the car..He moved closer to her making her blush but she pretended that she's still angry at him..Finally Manik was so close to her that there was no more place even for air...He brought his face closer to her and she looked down all flustered.. "Nandini..I miss you and I need you." Manik said as he let go of her hands to hold her at the nape of her neck from hand while the other hand tightened its grip around her waist...

Nandini moved her both hands on Manik's chest while he planted a kiss on the nape of her neck making Nandini moan and close her eyes to experience the heaven.. Manik caressed her soft wet and trembling lips with his and forced them to open up for a steamy and passionate kiss.. As the kiss became deep their grip on each other's bodies became tighter and kept kissing each other for a long, long time..What surprised Manik was Nandini taking the lead in showing her love for him.. She unbuttoned his shirt and started kissing his chest, leaving trails of hot and wet kisses all over as Manik moaned in passion...

Finally after some time they both realised they are outside and Nandini blushed..Manik added to the atmosphere saying "My girl is kinda dirty tonight..What's on your mind Miss Murthy?" He lifted Nandini in his arms and took her in...She rested her head on his chest listening to his heart beat her favourite sound in the world..He put her on bed tucked her in as he does and laid next to her and extended his arm and she climbed on it and hugged him tightly... "So what have you decided about moving in?" Manik asked.. "I am thinking" said Nandini as she realized by now Manik has become an addiction for like she is for him.. "Thinking..Not a bad start.." Manik thought as he kissed her goodnight...

It was 6 am when Nandini woke up and found a note by Manik instead of Manik.. "I am leaving will come and pick you up at 9..Love..Manik.." She blushed and smiled... She decided to make Manik happy by wearing his favourite dress which he gifted...It was a white ankle length umbrella skirt and semi transparent red crop top with spaghetti sleeves which would expose her midriff if she lifts her arms..She tied her hair in a loose bun and wore the diamond earrings again gifted by Manik..She was looking at her watch impatiently..she wanted him to see her first...

Just then pulled up..He honked, Nandini messaged him to come up..As he walked into her room he was blown away on seeing her...She twirled around to show off her skirt..Manik was mesmerized by her beauty he caught the smiling and twirling Nandini by waist.. "What?" Nandini asked.. He opened her hair and kissed her forehead "I like you in every outfit and every style but I love your open hair.." He said playing with her earrings...They closed their eyes and were about to kiss when Manik's phone rang everyone was waiting for them at the college.. They both laughed and Nandini placed a small kiss on his lips and they both walked out..

"Dude you are not getting married..Cabir and Navya are.." Mukti said as soon as Manik Nandini got out of car.."You are not supposed to come late as a wedding planner you should be the one to come first.." She continued.. Manik went and shut her mouth "Maaf karo meri maa..I will take care of that.." Manik said.. "guys we are getting late we have to buy the bridal outfits and outfits for us to for all the occasions.." Alya was very excited and even the other girls too..But their excitement made the boys depressed for obvious reasons that girls love shopping but boys hate it...

By the time they all left the wedding galleria it was late..So they decided to relax by going to the beach...Soon they all arrived at the beach kept their shoes and bags in the cars and walked near the water.. The cool breeze and the sound of the ocean filled them with calm and quite...Navya was very hungry and soon she spotted pav-bhaji wala and ran towards him and the rest also followed her.. "Are we gonna this?" Alya asked.. I know Barbie you have never eaten this stuff but trust me it tastes heaven just give it a try.." Cabir winked..

Alya was reluctant but she still went ahead and tried it and she loved it, in fact she surprised everyone by eating two plates... After their dinner Mukti, Alya and Dhruv left.. Now it was just Cabir, Navya, Manik and Nandini.. They are were sitting quietly and watching the waves come and touch the s**** and go back.. Cabir and Navya's life seemed like the s**** of the ocean where they can feel the happiness but can't enjoy it..Cabir got up and started walking and Manik followed him now it was just Navya and Nandini... "I still remember my first day in Mumbai big dreams and a zeal to do something big in this city but look at me know that girl a year back on that railway station seems like a stranger to me.." Navya sighed.. "Life has taken a 360 degrees turn and this Navya is full of mistakes..How did all this happen? I still feel I'm sleeping and when I will wake up it will all go back to normal.."

"Navya don't blame yourself, you are just a teenager and you didn't knew that Harshad will so wicked and the girl standing today is different from the girl in station a year back..This Navya is much more stronger and smart.. She can fight for her rights and stand up for truth.." Nandini said as she hugged Navya... On the other hand Cabir too poured his heart out to Manik.. "Wow it seems like a fantasy, a year back I was known as a Casanova and now my identity is a gay guy who lost everything and is marrying a girl pregnant with someone else's child.. But you know what its good no more secrets...I got to know who loves me for real and who just faked it.." Cabir sighed...

Manik put his arm around his shoulder and said "Cabir what matters is you are not hiding anymore and your friends love you the same way.." Cabir "That's true..But what's surprising was how Nandini and Navya have supported..I mean rewind it dude they went through what not cause of us but still Nandini fell in love with and Navya is with me.." Manik smiled.. "Tell me something honestly did you really hated Nandini in the beginning Manik?" Cabir asked Manik.. Manik sighed " I don't if it was love or not but whatever it was I tried to mask it with anger as she showed me the mirror as what I have become and what I wanted to be..." They both returned to find Navya and Nandini laughing and sharing some jokes..They saw at a distance admiring the girls and they turned to see and smiled..

Soon Cabir and Navya also left and it was just Manik Nandini on the beach...Manik laid on the beach and Nandini as usual in his arms, he enclosed his arms as soon as she settled cozily.. They were lying there silently watching the stars and listening to the waves life seemed bliss as they didn't needed words to talk their silences spoke... "I've decided.." Nandini said while Manik looked at her puzzled.. "I realized that I need you more than ever before, I never said this but yes I do need you Manik..So lets move in together.." She said..Manik's excitement knew no boundaries, he rolled over Nandini on top of him and pulled her closer "Are you for real? I mean you serious?" Nandini nodded in a yes and they shared a kiss.. "But only one condition chacha and chachi has to approve it.." Nandini said..

"They will say yes and that's my Miss Murthy..You just start packing your bags I will come and pick you up tomorrow morning.." and Manik pulled her closer to kiss again when Nandini stopped him "Not tomorrow after Cabir and Navya's wedding and we will not live in Malhotra Mansion..Get a smaller place Mr Malhotra.." "Ok madam it will be done.." Manik said and removed her hand which was stopping them from kissing and kissed her...

The next day Navya moved in with Nandini as she wasn't keeping well and chachi ordered that the bride and groom cannot stay together now until wedding; much to Manik's disappointment as he won't be able to visit Nandini at night for sleepovers..The wedding preparations started gathering momentum as the gang got busy in with the decorations, catering, invites and what not.. Manik and Nandini didn't get much chance to spend as they were too busy in preparations and the rest of the time Manik was MIA, Nandini didn't understand where he was going but she ignored..

Soon 10 days passed and it was just 10 more days for the wedding.. Finally on the afternoon of the 11th day they all boarded the cars and they rest of the students boarded the huge volvo bus for the shaadi of the year and started for Goa..
