Parth quitting kyy ...Good for him!
He wants to move on to some other show...his wish, choice or should I say his prerogative . Right or wrong am not even gonna go there, it's not upto me to decide that. But yes, I believe which ever Field we come from we all hv certain responsibilities that comes with them..& we are expected to act/behave accordingly. Somehow I get the feeling this guy is highly influenced by Lostboy ...more like a puppet to him. So, wish him the very best there, hope this decision of his is a good one.
Before Coming to the Manan or ky2 bit: I would like to say a few things that I personally believe in & go by-
1) as Parth himself pointed out recently- Change is the only constant thing in life- well then I am geared for the changes with respect to Ky2 ...be it replacement, new season , twist or end.
2) Show must go on- well hell yes! no one & I say it again no one is indispensable. So, Ky2 going off air because one bloke wants to quit at its peak...find some other way to deal with it rather stopping the show.
3) Memory is short lived & being able to adapt to different situation - we as humans hv an in built system where we can automatically adapt to what is thrown at us. So, Ky2 changes hardly seem that diificult to cope with & adapt to.
4) No one is perfect...there is always room for improvement- no matter how well Parth can act as Manik ...there is always room for improvement...
5) Taking things for granted- well actually, it's more like when u get anything easily, we tend it for granted...but in this case I can't say Parth got all this Fan adulation easily...he definetly, slogged for it & he absolutely deserves all the appreciation. But yes, with the amount of adulation pouring in his judgement is definetly getting blurred.
Now as fans would it help feeling bad, begging or pleading him, Lostboy or asking the makers to Stop Ky2 after his exit ...well no, if anything it will only making his decision to quit firm, reason being the person in question pretty much knows, no matter what he does his fan base will follow him everywhere (there is nothing wrong in that)
But guys maybe we should try reversed psychology, maybe sudden withdrawal & silence from his fans can get him to rethink his decision. As nothing else seems to be working & we really want him to continue with ky2.
On a parting note,YES I am ready for a Manik replacement & before some of u start questioning my loyalty for Manan...so be it. but yes, I am proving my loyalty for Ky2 ( other half of Manan is still there in Ky2 ;-) )
Hope this helps...my Guyan session. Please feel free to write with ur views be it in agreement or disagreement. Beauty of this forum is the flow of views/ideas ...challenging each other, love those discussions...only, let's keep in healthy & not make it a mud slinging fest.
Cheers,S
