There isn't much left to explore interms of MaNan relationship. It was always about them realizing their love and how it is above everything. The journey is about it. Conclude it with the fusion concert and give me the closure on the tale that was suppose to be all about fated lovers.

I will watch it for the writers and the cast(who manage to actually work with no drama).

@Serendipity- Nobody is denying giving the cast and writers another chance. We love them , hence we will stick for them. But sorry not MaNan, destroys the recall value, the trope of this story and undermines whatever writers build for it. 8-9 months of story with one face and another 2 months with another face as Manik? Sorry won't work for me.

Very apt post. One person cannot make or break a show. I mean, we only think about our show and what we see on screen. But that is also so many people's jobs na. Without meaning to hurt anyone's feelings, I don't want to be like one of those IPK fans who forced the channel to drop the show just because the actor left (and didn't quite succeed where he went either 😳). Somehow, I have always felt like Parth sounds like he's doing a "ehsaan" by staying on- like he's better than the rest...I know thats just me.

I agree with you. I've been writing posts on this since yesterday.

I love the writers of KY2. They are different and actually deserve all the fame. For the 1st time, I'm in awe of an Indian show. They tackle everything so well and they know that the USP of the show is Manan. No single episode is Manan free.

Parth is a great actor. Niti matches him equally. I used to get really mad when he would say that Niti had improved a lot as an actor in his interviews. Dude, she outshone u many times! I don't understand his decision to leave, but I have no choice but to respect it. I do wish him well, but I'm not following him there.

Niti - She's the other half of Manan guys, and she works so hard for this show. Parth himself has admitted so many times that she never complains. Does she deserve that we demand that the show ends with Parth's departure? Is that fair? I want to see her story. Till now, the show has been all about Manan. We never really saw nandini's story.

Cabir - What about this track? No one cares about this character? Honestly, he's my favourite character...so grounded and always helping out Manan. I want Cabir to find his way in life, convince his mum, find a soulmate. If the CVs have dared to show that Cabir is gay, then they should also get the chance to continue this story.

Navya - Her crazy mum wants to marry her off to Cabir. Is no one interested in this track? It's soo funny. Cabir will end up playing a very important role in this kid's life. No interest in that also?

Aliya - Finally, I see some hope for this character. Even Krissan has improved a lot as an actor. Don't u guys want to see more of her?

Dhruv - What about his redemption track? Him standing on his own two feet?

Mukti - I'm not really a big fan of this character, and here, I'll blame the CVs more than the actor herself. But no one's perfect right? And there's hope that this character will get better and finally grow on us.

Rishab & Dhruv track - we need closure on that.

Last and not least - Manik

Should we bid adieu to Manik just coz Parth is leaving? Can't we differentiate between Parth and Manik? Parth is not Manik guys. I agree that Parth has done full justice to this role. He has made us love Manik. But are all of us ready to say bye to Manik Malhotra? Is 6:30 pm going to be the same?

This show has so much potential. The story is the real star. Isn't it time that we start encouraging people who have the guts to show something different? If KY2 does end coz of Parth's departure, how will the CVs feel? How will the PH feel? Have u guys ever seen such an Indian show before? Can we please try to be rational and not let our emotions cloud our judgement?

If Parth really wants to leave, should we beg for him to stay? Where is our dignity? True Parth is talented. But would Parth be as successful without us? Don't talent and fans' loyalty/adulation go hand in hand? Are we the only ones who need Parth? Doesn't Parth need us to?

On a personal note, I'm fed up with people who don't respect other people's sentiments. When KSG left QH, I had told mysef that I was done with Indian shows. But I couldn't resist the way Indian shows depict romance. They totally touch my heart. I AM A FOOL.

I will not fight for Parth to stay. I want KY2 to get the ending it deserves. MTV does not need to beg Parth to stay nor do the fans. Respect is a 2-way street and needs to be earned. No one is less in any relationship.

Many of u won't like my post and I apologise for hurting you, but not for feeling the way I do. My power is with me. Parth wants to go, then good luck to him. As a KY2 fan, I will continue watching this show.
