Wow...It's been years since I logged in on IF...am surprised I still remembered my login details 😊...but felt I needed to just say all this...even if no one hears it 😛
Men and women both have a responsibility in the way they conduct themselves...women should be free to wear whatever they want...it's their choice...their body...if they feel comfortable within themselves to show skin then that's their personal choice...but in no way does that mean they are sending an invite to men to come and leech over them. Do women go and jump men when they see muscles or see them shirtless??? 😈 ...it all comes down to your intentions and the way you have been brought up to respect or disrespect women. You need to be taught from home...from the environment you live in. Why is this just being made about clothes?? My problem with Mukti was never her clothes...that's what she wants to wear so be it...it was about her attitude...her reckless behaviour and in my eyes the disrespect she has for herself.
At the same time I will also say ke when you know you are living in a community or a society that is full of cheap and filthy mentalities then again you are responsible for how you conduct yourself. Think about your safety first...dress accordingly to the situation until you have eliminated the problem...if you get what I mean. No point getting rebellious and all if you at the end of it come to some harm. Understand the problem and the situation. Sometimes you need to give in to a certain degree. I'm all for women's rights...equality...and all...but be smart about it...understand your surroundings too...no ❓
Last but not the least...there was no freaking need to bring this Neta shit in...why not keep it simple but strong??? They are college kids...that too in a Music college...give them what they can handle for their age...I mean ok...we all know Nandini is like 10 years ahead of her age but still...don't bring in too much...it messes it up. The saree thing I felt was just OTT because she is a college kid...abhi it's like the issue is just being thrown in our face. It needs better execution. Mukti first needs some introspection...she needs to understand she too was careless. Abhi I am finding it hard to feel for her...like I understand all that is happening is so wrong and I wanted to punch the living daylights out of those kuttey's ...but when I see Mukti...it's like how do I relate to her feelings...I feel that I can't until she has some kind of realisation about her self...her life...her attitude. RESPECT YOURSELF THEN EXPECT RESPECT FROM OTHERS...that's what Mukti needs to learn in my opinion!!!
Firstly, I think they are just trying to drag this Hope vs Hate thing by occupying MaNan in other activities...PFFT!!! Can't they just move forward with this challenge of theirs and Pandit's track off course?? We are what now 4 days away from the Fusion Concert...as said by The Manik Malhotra last night. By the way will it be just these two participating in this concert or will there be others?? 😆 I just want them to get on with this Pandit track now...it's getting slow!! 😒
Anywayz...Before tackling this social issue and their #ItsNotUsItsYou movement/campaign or whatever it is...they should make Mukti think about what she did...she was not right in her behaviour either...it's got nothing to do with her clothes...it's her attitude towards her self. They need to address her faults along with societies. Mukti needs to respect herself and her body...jab bhi koi problem aati hai she goes grabs a man...like what is that?? She allows men to get physical with her...random guys...one night stands and what not...don't know how far she goes...whether it's first base or last...or she just likes to have a sleep in some random bed...I don't know...but what message is she giving around?? 😕 😕
