Firstly, why are they selling track with the character Mukti, I am sorry to say but this in itself creates a major disconnect, did she not have a consensual sex with Rocky? Does she not sleep around with random men to numb her pain?
Without addressing the character's flaws and her lifestyle and her way of dealing with pain, they totally shifted this track to gain sympathy for her character, and took upon a social issue.
How did all these turn of events get related to wearing short clothes ?
^^WORD!!
It makes no fcuking sense to me. If they really want to put across a point for the said cause then they should have chosen some character which is firstly well written & crafted and needless to say well emoted and Mukti is none of these. Mukti's character had the potential to be what characters in the TV world struggle to be i.e Unique and of a class of its own but unfortunately she ended up as a character of non-relevance. This same girl has been bullying around people. Heck! She was the reason Shahid wanted to end his life and suddenly out of the blue the one who bullied is getting bullied for what? short clothes? Since when did this issue became about short clothes?

MTV India needs to gather their shizz together and seriously see what they are doing. The way they handled the gay issue was so damn good and now suddenly they are acting so lame.

Mukti sleeps ransom guys to heal her pain --> Her choice
Mukti dresses wht she want to --> Her choice

Why dont a girls' live the way she wants to be?Why society raise fingers ?
Still guys whistle when they see a girl in shorts...why?why the girl is blamed for shorts ? why dont the guys for their whistle?
it is a long discussion..
Another thing ..this is a daily soap for entertainment ..if they show it Satyamev Jayate ..do u like it?

This is my POV ..

My problem lies exactly here, why did this track totally take a turn to dressing when it should have been about Mukti realizing her self worth and addressing her issues.
This is a very sensitive issue, and they cannot sell such track with a women who does not even know her self worth. Women empowerment is not about sleeping with random men , yes thats her choice, but did she not land up in trouble due to that this time? If not for the boys and girls going out for her help, what would have been her position? , she does not even introspect on her actions and this whole track is sold on this char, that is where the disconnect is.

We all know its a daily soap, this very daily soap handled the whole gay issue amazing well, some brilliant piece of writing and execution was shown. As much as i did not like the navyas preg track, even that was given the sensitivity the issue needed. But here, it is not given.
The writers are capable of delivering good stuff that is why the expectations and disappointment.

I am talking about the strictly in relation with what ROCKY and his friends did ... which is not acceptable... agree she might be wrong in sleeping with ROCKY... but how does that gives a self declared moral police of the society... to comment on her character and making her wear a saree?? ROCKY konsa doodha ka dhula haine????

Of course we are judging her on her past behaviour. Because Shahid was on verge of committing sucide because of how he was used by Mukti and fab5. His MMS was psread all around. The news made it to the media where fab5 conveninelty were left unaffected.

So Mukti has done exactly what she used to do all the time. Just because for once she has met someone who won't be threatened by her fab5 bullying , she gets to play the victim.

Has she felt any remorse for all the guys she used and demeaned them.

It's not about her lifestyle but about her hypocrisy.

This girl fails to see that she has done exactly the same to others.

Navya and Nandini were made to give random lap dances, kisses to others and what not. NO FREAKING REMORSE OR INTROSPECTION .

The situation she is facing is something she brought upon herself and instead of acknowledging it she is throwing a fit and blaming everyone. They could have built the track in better way. I have no problem with them promoting the issue but I have a issue with the character they are using to promote it and her actions.

The issue is a really sensitive one. If you want to show it then do justice to it. But sorry to say the grounds on which they are building it is totally off.

You are right i was thinking the same looks like they thought of this track after charlie received those comments where fans/people objected at her clothing.
And if they wanted to show this track they should have not shown her sleeping with him but him trying to come close to her knowing she has slept around b4 but she refuse him and ended up slapping him or something because she has changed or some positive move in her character first.

These gifs , how well was cabir issue handled 👏👏, and at bold. That is why i am so pissed off at this track Anu, the CVs once delivered so well with the gay rights and now this.

I should not be making judgements so soon, but im dreading to watch epi's this weel.

@Sylph - Dude missed you.
Word with everything.

This just seems like a last minute addition.

Even that Navya pregnancy was handled well with them encouraging to talk sex.

Here they are confusing s**t shaming and clothes angle. Would have made sense if Mukti introspected or regretted her own actions which have been equally insensitive to others.

I really hope writers prove us wrong and atleast give some sense to this madness with her introspection and apology .

this is a serious issue...
a very much real one...
a girl wearing short dress s considered as a s**t in our country...
n some sick people take it as a consent for them to pass comments on them or rape them...

IS THAT RIGHT????

why cant a girl wear what she likes???

i m not supporting only girls who fall victims, but also for guys who are being brutally injured n killed just because they were supporting girls or travelling with a girl...

MTV could have found a better choice than bringing in sunny leone for this whole issue...

they should have made it more real...

Thank you sooo much for making this post .👏👏
This is a very sensitive matter and lately MTV hasn't been up to the mark in justifying such issues ,first it was with a Cancer Patient and now this.
They so need to get their facts right before taking up such topics.
I Hope they see this post and make a note of it .

I agree with you.
This was not the time to introduce this track. They should have concentrated on MUKTI first. KYY is all about
1. Friendship
2. Romance
3. Problems face by todays youth on a personal level.
4. Their ways of tackling the problems.
5. Social problem face by the youth (here i will say any person for that matter)

The track which started with the problem MUKTI was facing personally (the whole abhimanyu leaving thing) suddenly got integrated with a Social cause. WHY???? WHAT was the hurry?
They could have first shown how what she did at the spur of the moment was not a wise thing to do. She is messed up when it comes to dealing with heartbreak and takes extreme steps, this
should have been the track. They had sooo much of scope in this track which would have been really helpful to lot many real people who have the same temperament.

But this hurried integration does not make any sense. Cause we are left waiting(wanting) for MUKTI to realise what a blunder she has done and this not how one deals with life.

And hence we wont be able to show empathy towards MUKHTI now.

Girls seen as a meager Object is something we all have been through at some point of our life. And right now the whole nation is also talking about the same. To me its the most pressing and important issue our country is facing.

Really disappointed with the way KYY has so abruptly taken up such an important issue and are executing it so hastily. It can be clearly made out that they have not given enough thought about this track.
