Dont say like that. Its just a realization phase of his. Its just that his mind is too messed up that he does not know what he is doing. He is not wringing his hands in glee at insulting his friends especially Manik. He is suffering too having suffocated for long and now he is channelising this frustration at Manik and Alya.

Like Nandini said, all this is happening only to strengthen their friendship bond.
