I quickly kissed him, as he dragged me and picked me up and kept me in the cars seat

"shitt! We are late " saying that he started the car and drove fast

" Manik , where are we going ?"

"Sweetheart! Aren't you hungry?, the proposal can't fill our stomachs naa !..isliye "

He said giving me a sarcastic look

I smiled and looked around as he pulled across in to park the car .

We were at a restaurant, but we could have had food at home too, I thought

But well , when does Manik Malhotra ask someone else !

especially in case , he is in a total surprising mood like today !

He opened the door for me , I smiled

He pulled me , holding my waist towards him and walked faster

" ohk , Manik why are we here , can I know now at least ?"

" well , you are here to dine with someone you love a lot "

" Manik , I love you soo ...what's surprising in that !" I asked innocently

" I know u love me , so come here fast "

He asked the manager something and we both headed to a reserved table set up across the lawn.

I saw someone sitting there already and looked at Manik

"Go and sit there " he instructed

"Manik there is someone there already, what's wrong with you ?" I asked

"goo naa, achha come with me only then "

We both walked to the table set up so beautifully for three,

and I could now see the person,

I rubbed my eyes once

Manik whispered " soo how's the surprise ?"

"Manik , but how do you know him ?"

" well , baby you' ll figure that out in a few minutes " he said smirking

His eyes had a glint , now that means something I thought !

Although, I couldn't understand a word he spoke

but all I did was go and hug dadda who was smiling seeing me .

yes ! it was dadda who was seated on the table

I was surprised seeing him , may be surprised out of wits !

I was still hugging him when suddenly Manik spoke

"Dad ...so here she is, ur future daughter in law"

For a second I came out of hug ,

looking at Manik who had paced across and was on the other side of dadda .

"what !" I exclaimed loudly, not able to figure out anything

"what , madam you only said yes naa !" manik said laughing ,

While dadda was himself laughing

I felt like a kid lost in a maze

" Manik , stop it ! No teasing her get it and

well before my daughter in law she ll always be my doll ...get it " he said kissing my head sweetly

"dadda ! you are Manik s dad ?" I asked utterly confused

I myself dint know whether it was a statement or a question

My mind boggled at how two people I loved so much were , actually related!

Dadda side hugged me and Manik both

"yes ! Manik is indeed my son ...

otherwise how do think this idiot can go and

face your amms and convince her about himself instead of shreyans ...haan ?"

"what !! means you knew , and you helped him and ...you even visited amms !!"

God!! The shocks were getting graver than I thought.

" achha listen , we are hungry and dad's health has just improved ,

he needs to eat on time so , when can do this while we eat right ?"

I agreed and sat .

All the three dined, Manik didn't leave a chance a tease Nandini,

while Manik's dad explained how he knew about her being "the girl " and how Manik and he visited amms and convinced her,

Well she got convinced at the end which was hard,

but they managed it off and

How it was him who gave all the information about her house and

helped Manik get through about the house without letting her know, through appa's contacts .

Nandini was rather amused at the amount of hard work they both had put in ,

. just for her .

But more than that , she was happy

that she had indeed got a family now ,

which she could she term as hers ,

her small family

a person who loved her so much and a father figure who could guide her always .

What we mortals term as coincidences aren't well , termed as the same by god

for to him they were always fated to happen !

nandini's pov

soon enough we were done with dinner and we parted after a few hugs and

Promising up to meet dadda tomorrow for lunch ,

for Manik had planned something for the night it seemed

and we hardly had much time to discuss our further plans ahead now .

I sat in the car and dozed off on Manik's shoulder after sometime .

" Nandini , get up " he said softly ,

when I opened my eyes and found him picking me up from my seat

I got up and came out , only to see myself at an isolated place , with just trees around

I could even hear insects croaking, it was that silent!!

" Manik , here ?" I looked at him

" hmmm , come ..."

Suddenly I saw a small tent pitched in front of me with a born fire lit a little near it

" Manik !...indeed his romantic ways could take my breath away ,

I don't know how he managed it every single time!" I sighed to myself

He led me into the tent which already had two mattresses and

loads of pillows and other necessities laid out properly .

Manik slowly gave me a pair of simple clothes ; a tank top and a legging

and asked me to change while he waited outside .

He smiled and reassured me with his eyes and went out.

I stepped out after changing.

No one's pov

Manik slowly closed her eyes from behind and took her a little forward and

adjusted something , although she didn't know what !

and then she opened her eyes ...

only to see the huge twinkling things

...wait ...

she was watching through a telescope !!

wow ! she sighed

.a clear starlit sky ...

she could literally see all the constellations ..

Manik slowly whispered in her ear

" soo Nandini murthy the how's the last surprise , a date night with me and stars ??"

He then suddenly jerked a little as she hugged him sooo tightly but

he too hugged her back with equal passion .

Nandini : its perfect ,

Seriously there couldn't have been anything better to end the best day of my life,

us and the stars ...seriously !

how do you do it every time ?

she was amused at the way this guy managed to literally sway her off her feet .

" well , all I have planned is star gazing with you through the night and

waking up tomorrow morning and watching a beautiful sunrise in your eyes ,that's it !" he said kissing her cheek

" Manik ! Seriously today was the best day of my life, so what do you want from me ?"

" ohh , soo I' ll get anything I ask haan !...that's an amazing offer !" he said teasing her by brushing his nose across her neck

" Manik , I'm serious naa " she said pouting cutely

" well , then just be there with me , forever ..Nothing more " he said in a whisper

Nandini kissed him , midly and softly telling her answers to him for,

Manik never needed her words to understand . did he ?

Manik then slowly sat with her , her in his lap

And both all the while saw through the telescope seeing together

the beauty of the outer space ,

Showing each other ,

Teasing with a few missed kisses

and ever so gracefully in his arms wound around her ,

they Sat rejuvenating themselves to an experience which no one could ever define

For love isn't something which could be defined,

It could just be felt .

After a while of exploration, they both lay on the ground

she, still yet again in his arms ; her home

Just watching the way the universe revolved

How somethings could be dark and tormented

yet in the same place their opposites still existed

their glimpses to each other enough to reveal

the secrets under the padlocked trapdoors of their hearts

only silence

no talks

no teasing

a forever kind of relationship that they shared

What they shared wasn't any delusion , nor a perfect fairytale

They had fought for it

Their relation had collapsed once , like a nebula

But,

a nebula must collapse

it must crumble

for it's not its destruction

it's the birth

.the birth of a star .

Their love was a symphony,

A symphony of the stars which glowed

And the fireflies which shined , somewhere around

Their symphony : Manik and nandini

Not for a day

But for a lifetime .
