"Manik ..." I said , trying to remind him of the fact that it was 7 pm and we both were still sitting in each other's arms

On the floor, in the corner of the room

" Nandini murthy , can u please let me be like this ..."

" well , Manik Malhotra I have promised someone to meet them today at 8 , and its already 7 soo... "

"Shittt!! We're like this since 3 hours!!"

I gave him " so-now - u -what - I -was- talking- about " look

I got up and straightened my clothes, he too got up

"yaa , who do you have to meet that too at 8 in the night ?"

" just someone close ..."

" who ?...and wait your internship is over and you are shifting to US...

soo now what's this meeting about ? " he shot like an array of questions in a breath

"chill Manik , relax ...don't worry I won't run away! " I said teasing him

"as if I would let you " he said , holding her close , giving me a back hug

"it's my uncle , I have to meet him ...now happy " I said smirking

Noone's pov

Manik smiled to himself, so she wants to meet dad...

"ohh..shitt"

"What happened Manik ?"

"Noo ..Nothing "" I just had an important call, I ll come "

How could he forget to tell dad about this !...how silly of him, he exclaimed ...the blush and the happiness on his face intact

He called his dad , who himself almost jumped from his chair hearing the news in happiness

Manik, being Manik smugly told him to cancel his meeting with her, so that he could just celebrate the new start

He came into the room , where she was pouting sadly " maybe dad already messaged her " he thought

" what happened Nandini ?" Manik said teasingly

"nothing, I don't have to go there anymore .." she said , with a sad expression

"Well then awesome, Nandini lets go for a dinner ...to celebrate "

he said keeping his hands around her shoulder

" lets head to my home , please ..i want to change "

"what !, what will you find in your house where u yourself brought a cyclone in the morning haan !" he laughed

" ohh shittt !!Yaa ...i need to clean that up as well "

After deciding to head her home , getting her changed after hopping like a kangaroo avoiding all the strewn papers and pillows they went into a restaurant.

A beautiful candle light dinner , with soft music and some Champaign of which Nandini had a sip sportingly just to cling their glasses and raise a toast to the new start that they both had made today and to all the amazing moments that awaited them .

Nandini s house was a mess , Manik after an hour of convincing took her to his home saying that he wanted her in his arms today.

Nandini agreed , for feelings were mutual , both needed sometime just together to sink into themselves that things were back after a long storm.

Soon Nandini changed, and slept on the couch while waiting to talk to him about her US trip .

Manik who was changing in his room and making calls came to see her , already asleep

" must be tired ..." he said smiling , looking at her

He lifted her up , and took her to his room and laid her gently on his bed

Soon he himself went into the duvet scooping her into his arms , cocooning her petite form and caressing her forehead and her hair while admiringly placing some open butterfly kisses .

They both were in other's arms , sleeping ever so peacefully

He still had loads to tell , he had to tell her how it was her earing that he had preserved in a small white box which gave him strength and light whenever he saw himself receding into dark . He had to tell her that it was dreamcatcher hung in his balcony which made him fight for her, for she was his dream and he had to catch her back .

Nonetheless, she had no less to speak . His guitar pick that he left with her unintentionally long back had seen her fingers caress it trying to feel his touch. It was his jacket, most nights that she wore to bed for it was his scent, the only thing which could make her sleep.

She slowly opened her eyes due to the warmth of the early sun rays on her body , only to find herself at the epicenter of a strong gaze of his . She smiled and blushed seeing her body entangled to him . He was still looking at her adoringly when his long sleek fingers caressed her face smoothly while she closed her eyes again taking in his actions and the worship they gave off .

He smiled and huskily whispered, nuzzling her earlobe "good morning "

"good morning " she said shyly , while he kissed her forehead and her cheek , asking her to freshen herself up while he got coffee for both but before doing that he couldn't help asking his good morning kiss and left after she cutely gave him one .

She went and stood outside in the balcony , it was just 6:30 ...early morning breeze still blew and she simply stood there on the railing seeing the morning beauty and solace it gave . When suddenly she found his warmth enwrap her.

They stood for a few minutes experiencing the morning euphorbia.

Then he suddenly lifted her and made her sit on the corner slab of the balcony handing over to her a coffee and himself leaning on the corner , keeping his one hand around her shoulder .

They smiled, but did not speak. For when your silences speak, words need not.

She suddenly saw something on the corner of the balcony, keeping the cup aside she ran towards it in delight

She touched it softly, when suddenly her fingers found his .

Both simply taking in the strength from the strands of threads and feather woven on to it

It was their dreamcatcher

It was a sudden day when she came with loads of boxes full of nylon threads, feathers to his house

"Nandini ...Are we going to sew clothes today?" he asked , laughing for with every new day he was in for a surprise from her ...from suddenly doing photoshoot of theirs to baking a cake together

For well , with Nandini murthy you never know !

"Manik, let's make a dreamcatcher "

"What!!"

"yaa...come naa "

She dragged him , and opened a DIY video and for the next 6 hours she sat making it while he looked at her more than the half time , seeing her excitement , chirpiness and drinking on her inner beauty of thoughts.

Although he had never told her back then, the dreamcatcher signified to him much more than what she thought it to be.

They had made it together, hence for him it meant it drive out all the evil from their relation and beautifully every day slide into their hearts more love and good in to their togetherness

They both smiled and soon both had breakfast interspersed with loads of kisses and teasing off course.

He got ready for his day at office

"Nandini , could just pass me a hand towel from that cupboard "

She was going to open a wardrobe

" nooo...not that one !" he almost shouted , alerting her to alarm

He immediately apologized "sry, the next one has the hand towel "

She meekly smiled and gave it to him

"weird she thought "

He then dropped her home and went off to the office promising to be back as soon as he was done, and well she had huge wreckage at house to handle enough to keep her busy for long.

Manik went for the meeting and as soon as he was done , he noticed a the particulars inked on his day's schedule ,suddenly giving him zeal of excitement.

He then quickly made a few calls and went to her home.

He went in her home , to see her talking on the phone

He quickly hugged her back , nuzzling her neck while she spoke

Her body reacted to it , her voice hitched as she breathed quicker and tried pushing him away

She then kept the call hastily, promising to call after sometime

"Manik ...what is wrong with you , you know I was talking !"

" who was that ?"

" well , that was Shreyans ...sorry I forgot to tell you .." she said , then continued telling him how he was related and how amms wanted her to get married .

Manik was a little irritated in the start but soon he smiled and said " that's fine ..."

" you are reacting like this ...I can't believe it Manik !" she said utterly surprised at his reaction

"cause I know u love me ..." He said

He dint let her speak, he simply pressed his lips to hers kissing her passionately.

Soon her hands found their way around his neck and the kiss deepened, only to be further interrupted by his phone.

He saw the call and took it, breaking away the kiss .

He then came back "Nandini , woh ...I'm sorry , but I have some really important work which has cropped up and I need to fly urgently . I may be back by tonight "

"ohh" While, Nandini still wondered how suddenly he had an important work when he himself had told he had none .

" sorry "

"Its absolutely fine Manik , u goo ", saying that she kissed him and waived him as he went ruffling his hair after a snuggling her to his chest for a few minutes.

Note for those who dont know what a dreamcatcher is :

Dreamcatchers is actually traditional to native Americans , but now used across the globe .they are made from the belief that the positive dreams slip from the whole in the dreamcatcher and glides across the fethers to the person sleeping below , while the negative dreams would get caught in the web and expire with the sun rays .

i hope you guys like this part , next parts will be manik surprising you guys and his ladylove in too cute ways ( i promise totally non cliche' ones )
