I opened my eyes and saw Nandini sitting at the dinning table and smiling. What was happening to me?why did Nandini have such an effect on me?
I was lost in my thoughts which was broken by Kaka who said the food has been served. I nodded and sat opposite Nandini. she finished her lunch and headed towards her room.
"Nandini...we really need to talk"I said.
"Manik. ..bolo ki you want to talk...mhuje koi baat nahi karni
Anyway. ..mere pass faltu time nahi hai. .toh jo bhi bolna ho jaldi bolo."she said.
I went near her .
"Nandini. ..woh..you know jho bhi hua..I know its my mistake. .but can we have a fresh start. .."I was cut in between.
"Sure Manik. ..we will start fresh after 6 months. ."she said and was about to leave. I held her hand.
"Kya hoga 6 months ke baad?"I asked. she freed herself from my hold and smiled.
"Surprise! Wait and watch. "she siad and went to her room.
What was she talking about? Divorce? I was brought back from my thoughts as I heard my phone ring.
"Hann. .bol Mukti..."
"Manik. .kya ho raha hai? ? party?"Mukti asked, she seemed iriratted.
"What are you saying Mukti. ..tu theek tho hai?"
"Mein theek hoon..tu bata ..tere ghar pe party. .kis khusi mein?"
"Mere ghar pe party? "
"Haan..Nandini had called..toh she told about the party at your place tomorrow. " wait what was Mukti saying. party at my place and I had no idea about it?
"Mukti ..ill call you latter. "I cut the call and headed towards Nandinis room.
"Whats happening? party? "I asked Nandini who was busy with her phone.
"Haan..mein wapas ayyi hoon..toh party toh banti hai..kyu?"
"Par..nandini. .you don't like parties. "I said.
"8 years ..Manik. .things have changed. .its a long time..chalo ..mhuje shopping le chalo.."she said.
I just nodded. I dint know how to react.
We reached the mall. where I saw cabir.
"Cabir. .tu yahan? "I asked.
"Madam ne kaha tha anne ko.."he said side hugging Nandini.
Nandini started with her shopping while cabir and me followed her. Nandini was trying some clothes while cabir and me waited for her.
"She has changed a lot na?"I asked cabir.
"Haan..change toh huvi hai...even I was shocked with the change but it's better for her. she has become strong."Cabir said.
"Strong. .pheli bhi thi..."I said.
"True...phele thumare pyaar mein andha ho gayi. .thi..now she has got the reality check. ."he said making me feel guilty.
"Tu ne revenge lene ke liye shaadi ki..par she really loved you Manik. ."
"I know yaar Cabir..but now i want to start fresh. ."I said.i dont know why but my eyes filled up with tears . Before cabir could answer Nandini came out and I wiped my tears
"We'll talk about this later. "cabir said.I nodded.
"Ho gayi shopping? "Cabir asked.
"Haan..but im hungry. "she said.
"Theres a restaurant near by we could go there. "I suggested.
"Nahi. .mhuje road side Pani puri chaiye ." She demanded.
