The eyes are considered to be the " windows to one's soul" for Manik and Nandini their hands were the windows to their journey together. From the very first time they met as random strangers on a highway to the date on the terrace looking upon a starcast night their hands have been the catalyst as well as the witness of their journey together.

One of my favourite hands scene of theirs together was the night Nandini got drunk. Their hands technically were not entwined together, a glass wall separated their hands but I loved the symmetry and symphony of their hands together, her tiny delicate hands on the glass window, with her nose pressed against the wall, nary a care, just being in the moment and enjoying herself. Him on the other side, half in exasperation, half in wonder at this child-woman at the other end of the glass window. He places his hands exactly symmetrically to hers, they might have been divided by the glass but even then his hand enveloped hers in his, a promise of togetherness, of a journey of being each other's half. One hand is just one hand, two hands is a clasp, it speaks of binding, of a bridge, of shaping and moulding their tomorrow together.

More later as I think of the other moments. I have always loved this scene and your post gave me the opportunity to wax about it.

Let me just fangirl over this, okay? The scene, the metaphors, just this entire thing. Wowie.
I cannot gush enough about the scene you mentioned. He wanted to talk about feelings. For once, she was uninhibited around him, without her usual walls, and he so badly wanted to know what she feels about him. Whether he was alone in this storm of emotions she evoked in him. And of course he wouldn't be Manik if he wasn't sneaky and snarky about his intentions, lol. But that yearning came through so beautifully in the way he places his hand exactly where hers was, on the other side of the glass. He could feel her attraction towards him, but as with all things Nandini, the boy's confidence is just a mask easily blown away. And the disappointment in that one look at his hand as soon as she takes away her own and goes off on another 'hot' tangent. 😆 He so wanted that glass wall to come down that night, and luckily for him (and us), it did.

Adhi, your words...EEE. Right now I'm so absurdly proud that yours is the first post. *collars up*😎

ASDFFGHHJKHFDS MY FEEELS! AND BOX'S MAKING TOPICS! BOX MADE A POST! BOX'S WORDS. I DIEEE SO MUCH! I'll have mergers if this is what i get post them🤣

OMG I LOVE YOUR WORDS KAY? And the simple way you describe something so so beautifully and just sigh <33 And you took everyone back to the memory lane. EEE.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS SHOW MUCH. The simplicity and depth they insinuate and demonstrate with 'touch' The way they use hands, its not just simple, it's life, its everything. Manik and Nandini use their hands to express love, its like their hands have their own souls, hands recognize one another when even they don't. That tremor in his hand when she slid her hand in his, i just stopped right there. WOAAH. How beautiful was that moment? And how brilliantly incorporated. No words needed, nothing absolutely nothing but their hands. And its the hands since the start! Even after the fireflies scene, in the old home, its their hands that collide and they feel something for the first time, then in his car, and how beautifully was it shot in the storeroom scene? Their touches are like strokes, painting a story and depth of its own.

This is what makes them so real and surreal at the same time. All they need is a touch to communicate, even when they can't, their hands and foreheads and skin do more than they ever will. Like having a whole body of their own, mind of their own, they just recognize one another. They mean the world to each other.

How beautiful was that hand amputation track when they sat beneath that old table and she simply kept tracing his hand and staring at it? And everyime the first thing he did was clasping their fingers, kissing her hands, just brushing. HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE BABIES? SO REALISTIC AND SOO SOO DEEP THAT THEY BRING TEARS TO YOUR EYES and this innocence makes you want to root for them <33 Their touches sing another story. Such a beautiful story <33

BOX I LOVES YOUU SO MUCH!! NOW I FEEL LIKE REWATCHING ALL SCENES. plus ive opened SV again to vm. woot🤣

RIDA <3

MY FAVOURITE-EST FANGIRL IS HERE. JUST.
Come here joo. 🤗

I took a long walk down the memory lane today with old scenes and it was nice but lonely so I made this topic to lure you all into a merger of feels. And see it worked. 😆

@bold: And that, right there, is everything so uniquely MaNan. That's why they are the epic love story in a show which is choc-a-bloc with haphazard love lines , that is what makes them fated, and that is keeps them bound together through thick and thin, even when their own conscious selves are unable to communicate with each other. It's all in the touch, and just the purity of this touch is enough to testify to their love. It's a beautiful song indeed.

And of course, the secret of it all lies in the size. Such a contrast but a perfect fit, nonetheless. No one knows that better than you. 😆

Hai na? That was like the only watchable scene in an episode which made everybody groan in agony otherwise, because of the unending night. Hands to the rescue, as always. 😆

If this had been a poll, the store-room would have won a long time back. Such a universal favourite. 😆
I need to go back and re-watch that first scene and check out the music then. Thank you for the comment. :)

That's this thing about their hands, they always reach for the hands when they need the comfort that one gets from holding onto someone one loves.
When they are clasped in this hand-hold ,it's as if they have let go of their individual being and have become one, there is this mutual share of emotions. This is how they give each other the trust, the hope , comfort and love. No words just letting their hands be together, rest they dance on their own accord.

Friday when he finally held her hand after days , one could see the relief , happiness and how much it meant to both of them. He knew he could hold her hand without hurting and she could see that he was healing. In that moment they knew they are in this together, that she won't leave, she will wait for him to come to her because he is that predictable now and also she is his home .

When they hold hands , it speaks of their humesha, the forever.

I think you are being way too nice, infact I was a feeling a bit ashamed with what I wrote considering how well-thought out your post was. But Vidya we need more posts from you on the main forum, your words and viewpoint is valuable.
