Un-resed.

I watched the episode the first time and like I said, I couldn't connect to my babies as I always have. It was heartbreaking for me.

But even then, I couldn't stop admiring the technicalities of the scene- the way it was shot, the camera angles and all. I couldn't help admiring PaNi's spot on acting despite all the distractions.

But now I see your post and I realized that sometimes, it's a different POV, a very well-written post, a few difference of opinions that can make you view a scene in a wholly different manner.

I ain't that good at fangirling, you know that. 😆

But THIS is one wonderful post and probably much-needed for me! 😳

I wouldn't lie but the part where Nandini ever-so-gently places her hand on his' and his fingers twitches for a second did make my heart skip a beat. I was smiling along with Nandini...

I can't really blame the director if he is indeed in love with Niti's eyes...how B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L she looked in that shot which was taken from b/w Parth's arms? Her eyes speaks volumes and they were practically twinkling.

Parth looked tired indeed, but as you pointed out, it worked in his favour. Swollen eyes and exhaustion in his voice. They both were PERFECT in their states.

About the words they exchanged, well...main kya bolun, you and Genie have put it across so wonderfully that I don't think that I have anything to add from my side. 😳

Thank you so much for this post Anu. 🤗

Haha I brought Shelly out of her Shell? Awesome me then😆😆

Aww I'm glad you liked the scene more on a second watch, Shelly🤗

Honestly fans bhi Manik se kam nahin hain😆...letting your gussa over the merger nonsense cloud your views over a lovely scene😆

Are you are awesome at fangirling, kya baat kar rahi ho? LOL kitne awesome posts toh you make!

The way he came there after back to back travelling.First he rode to Dehradoon and then performed and an early fight just to meet her. *sigh*

Manik Malhotra one should learn how to love his girl from you
And not only Mr. Malhotra, Ms. Moorthy was so confident that whatever be it Manik would come to meet her straight from the airport.
That surprise
The height difference
Simple decoration in that terrace
Those STARS

This is probably the best way to release all your stress when you come home all tired.
All your stress goes to the drain to see your love smiling at you and surprising you
I am just trying to get this feel again and again...
Just cant over this scene

And yes Manik had that genuine smile on his face..That smile
I didn't mind if Parth was sleepy but this really worked for that scene because Manik seemed really tired and Nandini sharing a light hearted conversation with him was PERFECT
That drooling..He tucked her hair and just looked at her..He was gazing at his star

Under the stars with his star😆
I LOVE IT...I SO LOVE IT
Manik Malhotra is no more angry...His "Heart" oh sorry "Haath" is healing..No more gussa
This is interesting..
That POP-CORN
I had just tweeted Rida to not let her feels go down
Yesterday corn popped out..Soon it will be cherrries🤣
I so wanted to see the morning of this night..Nevertheless the episode was so serene and beautiful ..Of course the song just made it a bliss
And And And that waist holding again...
So much of anger, jealousy intentisy and passion. This is all about my MaNan.
I was so sure that Nandu would punch him if Pandit had not interfered..
That hold on her waist and asking her
"Is it loosening or should I hold more tight"

OMG...Manik Malhotra
This boy 😳
He said Pandit that he would not let him succeed in his intentions..And stood between Pandit and Nandini
ALL THE BEST
He is going to be there for her and protect her no matter what. That gllance Nandini gave to the Pandit behind his shoulder...WOW
That shielding effect-hmm so the boards is finally into me now..😆

I have boards..I should be studying..😭
But just cant get over this
I tried a bit of fangurling today..I know it sucks😆
But the episode was a happy homecoming to the fans and Manik..I loved it..
So real and so pure..
So simple but so beautiful

NOW BYE..
See you at night

LOL hey I loved reading your fangirling! You should do it more often! :-)

Yes, if the first scene was soft and dreamy, then the last scene reminded us that MaNan do intense/angsty edges just as well...Nandu would have totally handled him if Pandit hadn't interrupted...what got to Manik was her constantly poking him about HOLD😆...so as usual he had to give a literal demonstration...what cracked me up was how he took his time...went over, made her stand up and then went about demonstrating his "hold" and how tight he can make it...loaded conversation😆...Nandu forgets sometimes that the monster very much exists😆

All the best for your boards!👍🏼

No but seriously, this scene deserves all this appreciation and more. It was pitch perfect in every way and the writers did a wonderful job picking up from where they had left, while doing their best to account for the damage done by the mergecrap.
[& yes, I am copy-pasting from the AT because touchscreens are typing hell]:
The writing, the shots- everything was so on-point. Parth does look exhausted but that went with the scene completely, and Niti lit it up with her eyes and her smile.
MaNan are such a favourite of mine because they can talk to each other and just BE with each other like no other couple I've seen on desi tv. They sell those quiet conversations, those seemingly insignificant tiny moments so naturally. It really makes you believe that yes, these two kids are in love despite all their differences and deserve to be happy together.

Like the moment he sees all her arrangements, there's this tiny smile on his face because he knows she's been thinking of him just like he's been thinking of her, and waiting for him. HE'S NOT ALONE. He doesn't have to ask for her time or worry whether she'd be asleep because she'd know and be there anyway. And that just gives him so much peace.

And the way the tone of the scene keeps changing throughout and they keep it light but moving at the same time. They go from teasing each other to just talking about their day and not-admitting that they missed each other lots and you'd think they're any normal couple bantering with each other. But the fact that he's angry with her, they're not really together and this is just an interlude- it sneaks in too when she mentions his anger, but not in any melodramatic way at all. He is tired and plops down, and she just holds his hand. And that's it- he's at peace, he feels safe enough to touch her and admit that he's not angry anymore. No OTT declarations, just a quiet moment of togetherness. And she knows what he's implying and keeps hoping for both of their sakes, and then simply throws simply throws popcorn at him with a mischievous smile, and the emotional intensity is broken, they just go back and relax again. Such a soothing scene- subtle but so much happening beneath it all. It was lovely.

And kudos to the director for shooting it so beautifully. The angles were fresh, and he made both of them look so nice and normal. I especially loved the one where he is resting his head on his elbow and gazing at her, and her face is shown through that gap between his palm and elbow. It was very well-done. And perfect music, for once. I love it when they 'Tujhko jo paaya' on MaNan- usually it's the instrumental version but this unplugged one was great today and suited the scene to the T. Lollipop or not, it was one damn beautiful scene. So many feels.

P.S- The hand-holding was everything. Their hands tell a story of their own altogether. And that has been so consistent from Day One. We like to say pretty stuff like their story was written in stars and fireflies, but it's really their hands, and all these ways that their fingers find each other in every situation. In joy, in sorrow, in anger, in peace. In quiet conversations or in the middle of a raging mudfight. In togetherness or in separation. When they were strangers and now when they are each other's world. Always. The instinctive love their hands have for each other deserves an AT of its own. 😆

P.P.S- That P.S was so long it's shameful. This be the real one.

I'm just going to sit on the like button for this😆...You've said it all, Vidya...and mujhe kya bol rahi ho, YOUR post deserves to be on the main forum seperately...you've said it all so perfectly!

I realized somewhere around the time I finished posting all my fangirling that it was more comprehensive than usual😆...so figured might as well compiled it one place so I also don't have to sift through the AT for caps😆

Last line ne toh dil hi jeet liya, Vidya...🤗..."When they were strangers and now when they are each other's worlds...Always"...Humesha😆

- You made a post on the main forum ,The AT has such amazing insights , but sadly many be missing it
- These scenes are the one that reinstate the love that be unwavering between these two, the comfort and domesticity, which makes manan tick , not the " intense " action or miss kisses( i am that biased)

AY i need gifs ...pictures aint enough. The post and be it the wonderful replies have pretty much everything what i want to say, so just giving you one warm hug for the post🤗

Aww thank you so much for the sweet words, Shefni🤗

Yes indeed, we all love to joke around about the missed kisses and we love the intensity but scenes like these are the ones that truly elevate MaNan to another level...as I always love to say...it's that THEHRAAV...when they give them a chance, MaNan portray it beautifully.

Ahh yes I do need to get to gifs😆...got caught up taking pics and fangirling last night then I was too tired😆

I donno y some people cudnt see through this scene , it was such a beautiful scene not just a random romance bit .. He himself said it is not hurting ..its healing and ppl were hanging kn to v thing ...

The music ..ohh mannn ...how perfect it was ...khwaishein female humming was sucha bliss ..it added all sorts of love into the scene ..and tujko jo paya ..i love it when they play it on manan..

I really felt bad for parth coz he wasted his precious sleep for some merger crap but still his tired look was needed for this scene .

How manik came. To her even though he was super tired ..just to see her .and how she was waiting for her bcs she knw he wud definitly come for her ..like this both ...
❤️

I am still watching tht scene ..it was not over dramatized ..it was soo subtle ..to the point ..

I just wanna appreciate vishal, renu, richa and ofcourse Rajeev for this brilliant work ..like how brilliantly they connected to us again after two days of break ..ithey really deserve this appreciation 👏👏

As the insider said manan are their limbs and they wont let happen anything to them ..😊

And the happiness increase seeing anu, fangirling 😉

OMG the music...yesss I could totally go on and on about how PERFECTLY it uplifted the scene...starting from that Khwahishein humming in the beginning but oh man no one's heart can resist melting at the way the opening chords of the "Tujhko jo paaya" unplugged start playing when she turns to look at him while he's gazing up at the sky...

I really really want Manik to sing this song for her one day...this slower unplugged version...Mohit Chauhan's voice suits him so well too...as we've already seen in Yeh Dooriyaan

P.S. OMG I LOVE your 'Every tall boy needs a short girl" sig😆...such perfect captures of the height difference...love it!

Honestly, their relationship is so frickin' beautiful. And portrayed way more maturely, and realistically, than any other relationship I've witnessed between any couple on Indian television. And while I say that I realize this is coming from someone who hasn't given too many shows a chance, but from what I've gathered, MaNan's relationship is shown in such a lovely, genuine manner. Class apart from the ones I see these days for sure.

Aside from that, I was fangirling throughout this scene and puking rainbows. It made me that happy.

LOL@ puking rainbows...I guess we all were yesterday😆

Word to what you said about their relationship...well I've seen plenty of shows so I guess I can safely say from experience that MaNan are indeed a class apart...the maturity, realism and NATURAL way with which their relationship is portrayed is pretty much on it's own level...the nuances are taken care of beautifully.

OMG I INSTANTLY thought of you when they showed this...they actually listened to you! Haha awesome! All those creations you posted of star-gazing probably inspired them too...haha

No but seriously what a lovely way to make a comeback...we joked around about a zillion ways they could compensate for the merger crap but they found possibly the best one for this point in the story😊

AY 👏 that was a much needed and fabulous post!!!!
Damn I never realized how much I missed them until I saw the episode 😳

Even with all the "I hate you" and "darkness is me" declarations from Manik, he never stopped caring for her.
And he never hid that fact from her. His actions made sure of it. He always let her know what he feels for her at the moment.
She was the last person he saw before he left and first person he came back to. She is his home, his haven.
He was exhausted but he had to see her, make sure that she is there safe and sound. And she stood there waiting for him.

Oh!!! Their height difference is love!!! One of the many things that make them special.

He was so impressed and touched by her gesture. That smile on his face, the shock and surprise said it all.
Not only did she see through his facade of indifference but she went ahead and arranged something so beautiful just for him. She choose to include the stars she hated just so he can be happy.

The hand holding part was . Dunno how many times I have watched it but the effect is always the same.
I love all their hand intertwine scenes. the way he holds her soft and small hand in his hard, callousness hand is pure love.

The stars, hand and heart connection just completes the scene.
Their is a sense of intimacy that comes from normalcy and they portray that beautifully.
