Star gazing with Manik-Nandini *Gifs Pg8*

Because I feel the opening scene today deserves so so much more love than it seems to have gotten, copy/pasting from the AT:


The first scene *sigh*...had such a broad smile on my face watching it...I think the visuals of it were the most beautiful part...just these two back in a frame together...and the writing was so CLEVER, man...one of the consistent qualities of the writing in this show is how smartly open-ended they leave scenes...


The setting of this scene was a Manik as usual helplessly drawn to Nandu's house, waiting outside, debating whether or not to honk the horn, wondering if she's gone to sleep...and when she as usual catches him there, he will dance around the obviousness of the fact that he turned up there for her.


In fact the entire scene establishes this comfort level that only these two can have...this intuitive understanding that doesn't need justifications or words...she knew he'd come to her, she knew he'd be happy to see his beloved stars regardless of his "anger" towards her and he ever so simply clarified that he isn't angry anymore...that he's healing...and when she probes, he smartly hides behind his hand as an excuse...such awesome writing...and honestly on point execution from PaNi despite sleepyhead Parth...I can't fault his acting...whatever tiredness he felt actually worked for the scene.


Only PaNi can make such a simple and open-ended scene so endearing...and NO WAY can this be called a forced or filler scene cuz ever so SMARTLY, the writers gave a nod to the shifts happening in Manik by making him address the "anger" and the "hurt"...


Niti was just GLOWING in the whole scene...some of the angles they used for her just made her look ever more pretty...I loved how simply they caught up about the day they'd spent apart...only these two can make being together yet not together also work so well...

Writers and actually whole team deserve a big round of applause👏👏...they must have shot in a rush but still direction was LOVELY for the first scene...and PaNi nailed it and then even the editors were meherbaan and let the lovely angles be and used such lovely music

I MUST MUST gush over the height difference playing out so WONDERFULLY in this bit...WHY must these kids be SO damn cute together?

In the beginning she actually puts her hand behind his head to support it like the ever compassionate little pixie that she is...






And these shots were just GORGEOUS to me

One of my fav. things about this scene is how tenderly Nandu reaches out and touches his hand ...their hands speak a language of their own for that brief moment...you can sense his surprise in the way his fingers start for a bit...then he turns to look at her and tentatively holds her hand back...and so content they are...so natural that moment is...needs no clarifications...she reached out cuz she felt the need to touch him, hold him and he responded as she knew he would...that he ever so naturally turns to brush the hair back from her cheek and Nandu's smile at him after he does so...yet another one of those things about MaNan...the honest, instinctual way of expressing themselves and never holding back from communicating their need for each other

The new director seems totally in love with Niti's eyes...so BEAUTIFULLY captured in this scene...and kya awesome angle dhoonda...from b/w Parth's arm😆











Innocent temptress Nandu is totally...she's got this strangely BEATIFIC light emanating from her but at the same time such MISCHIEF and bemusement dancing in her eyes...however does Manik resist it😆

And LOL her bemusement in the popcorn bit was too cute...felt more Niti than Nandu...haha...especially her expression RIGHT after she throws the popcorn on him...haha

this is exactly how i felt when i watched this scene- their comfort level with each other does not have to be expressed with words - they automatically seeked out each other even though Manik is supposed to be in hate mode. He just has this assumption that immediately stepping off the flight - he has the right to go see his girl (even though he has declared they are over) and nandani automatically accepts that this guy who hates her will come to see her immediately- she was expecting him and as she stated -he is becoming predictable.

Yes, their relationship is beyond labels of any sort, beyond "breakups" and makeups of any sort...they never really need to give each other explanations in a typical fashion...their actions speak louder than anything else and they both accept that no matter what they will find their way to each other...they can play games around it but at the end of they day neither of them will deny the other...cuz the need is equal in both of them...their love always pulls them towards each other regardless of anger, heartbreaks, hurt, misunderstandings...it's a given that he will show up underneath her window and she will more often than not be watching out for the sound of his car...


I just love that they don't give each other typical justifications like most TV pairs.
