yesterday's epi was a pure bliss...n d way u described it wd ds wnderful caps its evn more beautiful ...ds scene was so real n full of cute emotions...it always amazes me hw ds two bring so much intensity n purity in such a simpl scene like ds,dre holdng hands also speaks a thousand words n cn giv me goose bumps...tired manik n cheerful nandu...so beautifully shown..luved d epi frm d core of my heart...n luvd ds post dear... 😊

Aww. Posts like this should always be on the main forum because sifting through the AT for such gems is pretty much impossible. Genie Minnie is really sensible sometimes, huh? 😛

No but seriously, this scene deserves all this appreciation and more. It was pitch perfect in every way and the writers did a wonderful job picking up from where they had left, while doing their best to account for the damage done by the mergecrap.

The writing, the shots- everything was so on-point. Parth does look exhausted but that went with the scene completely, and Niti lit it up with her eyes and her smile.
MaNan are such a favourite of mine because they can talk to each other and just BE with each other like no other couple I've seen on desi tv. They sell those quiet conversations, those seemingly insignificant tiny moments so naturally. It really makes you believe that yes, these two kids are in love despite all their differences and deserve to be happy together.
Like the moment he sees all her arrangements, there's this tiny smile on his face because he knows she's been thinking of him just like he's been thinking of her, and waiting for him. HE'S NOT ALONE. He doesn't have to ask for her time or worry whether she'd be asleep because she'd know and be there anyway. And that just gives him so much peace.
And the way the tone of the scene keeps changing throughout and they keep it light but moving at the same time. They go from teasing each other to just talking about their day and not-admitting that they missed each other lots and you'd think they're any normal couple bantering with each other. But the fact that he's angry with her, they're not really together and this is just an interlude- it sneaks in too when she mentions his anger, but not in any melodramatic way at all. He is tired and plops down, and she just holds his hand. And that's it- he's at peace, he feels safe enough to touch her and admit that he's not angry anymore. No OTT declarations, just a quiet moment of togetherness. And she knows what he's implying and keeps hoping for both of their sakes, and then simply throws simply throws popcorn at him with a mischievous smile, and the emotional intensity is broken, they just go back and relax again. Such a soothing scene- subtle but so much happening beneath it all. It was lovely.
And kudos to the director for shooting it so beautifully. The angles were fresh, and he made both of them look so nice and normal. I especially loved the one where he is resting his head on his elbow and gazing at her, and her face is shown through that gap between his palm and elbow. It was very well-done. And perfect music, for once. I love it when they 'Tujhko jo paaya' on MaNan- usually it's the instrumental version but this unplugged one was great today and suited the scene to the T. Lollipop or not, it was one damn beautiful scene. So many feels.

P.S- The hand-holding was everything. Their hands tell a story of their own altogether. And that has been so consistent from Day One. We like to say pretty stuff like their story was written in stars and fireflies, but it's really their hands, and all these ways that their fingers find each other in every situation. In joy, in sorrow, in anger, in peace. In quiet conversations or in the middle of a raging mudfight. In togetherness or in separation. When they were strangers and now when they are each other's world. Always. The instinctive love their hands have for each other deserves an AT of its own. 😆

Honestly, their relationship is so frickin' beautiful. And portrayed way more maturely, and realistically, than any other relationship I've witnessed between any couple on Indian television. And while I say that I realize this is coming from someone who hasn't given too many shows a chance, but from what I've gathered, MaNan's relationship is shown in such a lovely, genuine manner. Class apart from the ones I see these days for sure.

Areyaar, cvs did notice our fangirling and wistful thinking about star gazing scene in At..and we got it ..gotta say such a befitting compensation for the crap kyy fans had to go through in last two days😳

THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER. THAT GAZE. While she was busy looking at his favorite stars, his gaze was fixed on his OWN SHINING STAR. His GIRL. JUST SO MANY FEELS.

The way she said you can be angry with me all you want but you cant resist stars. BABY<333 And The way he told her he isn't angry anymore. The way HE SAID IT. BUT WHAT REALLY KILLED ME WAS "HOPE KARTI RAHO TUM" lfbahgbsd gbsdmn THE WAY HE SAID IT. I DONT HAVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE THAT WHAT. IT WAS SO JUST SO SPECIAL. AND THEN THE WAY HE LOOKED AT HER. THAT GAZE. SO MUCH LOVE. SO MUCH.

HE FELL IN LOVE WITH HER A LITTLE MORE TODAY IF THATS POSSIBLE. Her innocence, her adorable antics, her earnestness is HIS UNDOING. How COULD HE NOT SMILE?

THE FACT THAT SHE WAITED FOR HIM. IT MEANT THE WORLD TO HIM. HOW CAN HE NOT LOVE HER? HER SMILE, HER ADORABLENESS, JUST HER took away all his exhaustion. He looked so at peace with her. SO content. Both were so happy to be back together after a long day.

BOTH LOOKED SO SERENE, SO BEAUTIFUL lying under the naked sky gazing at the stars. Both were at home. ALL THEY NEED IS EACH OTHER. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. SIGH. THESE BABIES AND THEIR LOVE. I DIE!

The way he said that "Hope karti raho tum"...was meant to be a bit of a bemused retort...especically cuz he first asks, 'Hope kar rahi ho tum?" and Nandu doesn't reply but just smiles at him😆...and then ofcourse he has to be bemused and pretend like her hope isn't getting to him...but they both know better😆...I LOVE that it was an UNDERSTOOD thing in that moment for all of Manik's attempts to pretend like it was his HAND not his heart😆


And you gotta love pixie Nandu just matter of factly quipping that she thought he was talking about his HEART😆...she never leaves a chance to rub her FIVE POINT victory in his face😆

It feels so nice to have KY2 back after 48 hours. I can for a fact say that I have missed Nandu and her bright smile. Honestly, I felt that the contrast was played out really nicely today. Manik/Parth being tired and Nandu/Niti shining like a bulb. I don't know how but they managed it, but it was executed so damn well. It felt so freaking natural. This comfort and understanding that they share; they really don't need words to express themselves. Nothing OTT like running into the arms or turning away from Manik (cough cough V).

But I have to say that my favorite part was the beginning when she comes from behind and puts her hands over his eyes and takes him to the terrace. LIKE THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFULLY DONE. And then when he opens his eyes, he notices the decorations, looks back at Nandu (who is literally smiling away LOOKING AT HIM-taking in his reaction) and then gives such a small, but perfect smile. He was so freaking touched by this gesture because no one has ever waited for him before. AHHH these two just make me crazy!!

Oh I loved that bit too! The INSTINCTIVE reaction he had...the small, soft smile and he turned to look back at her and Nandu constantly watching him for his reaction with this glowing smile on her face...these two have comfort level like they've been together for years😆


And yes word...he was touched by the way someone waited for him...and not just someone, NANDINI waited for him...that Nandini who he supposedly is too hurt with right now to ever forgive her...that Nandini who come what may doesn't give up on them...that Nandini not only waited for him, knowing he'd come to her but set up special decorations to include his fav star gazing activity...


If Manik Baba still didn't feel the lingering obligation to put on his "Abhi main gussa hoon" act, he would have showered her with all the love he was feeling in that moment😆
