17:30 Local Time, 13:30 GMT, 19:00 IST: Hello and welcome to another Super Four clash in the Asia Cup 2025. India, unbeaten and in red-hot form, face Bangladesh in what could decide the first finalist. A win for Suryakumar’s side seals their spot, while Bangladesh will look to keep their edge in the race. India haven’t been stretched so far, even a sloppy fielding effort against Pakistan couldn’t stop them from winning comfortably. Bangladesh, after a scratchy group stage, will take heart from their Super Four win over Sri Lanka and believe they’re building momentum at the right time.

"Gautam Gambhir is taking a close at the pitch and then decides to take a walk from one end to the other," informs Pratyush. "Can spot Jaker Ali doing wicketkeeping drills, so looking like Litton (who strained his back during a net session) will play as a pure batter," he further adds. Shivam Dube is the first one to mark his bowling run-up..

"Hello from the Dubai International Stadium! It's a relatively less scorching day here and it was much easier to navigate our way to the venue. Looking like we have a fresh pitch in store for tonight's match. It's between the pitches on which India played UAE and Pakistan (twice) and from far, looks like a belter. Don't think it's been used before in this tournament either." - Pratyush Sinha from Dubai..

India’s campaign has been powered by their bowlers and top order; Kuldeep Yadav leads the wickets chart, Abhishek Sharma is reaffirming his No.1 ranking, and the rest have slotted in seamlessly. Bangladesh, meanwhile, rode on Saif Hassan and Towhid Hridoy’s fifties in that chase against Sri Lanka after their bowlers set it up. This isn’t quite must-win territory yet, but with a spot in the final on the line, there’s plenty at stake. Toss and teams coming up...

"Litton had a short conversation with the physio and went inside. Didn't do any stretching, warmups, so most likely Jaker Ali will be leading today." - Atif Azam.

"Bumrah marking his run-up. Like Ryan ten Doeschate indicated, he could be rested for the next match against Sri Lanka if India win today and seal a spot." - Pratyush.

There is confirmation that Litton Das is not playing today. Jaker Ali has walked out to the middle for the toss.

Sanjay: "I don't think any team can compete against Indian team let alone winning it." -- Well, India have looked a cut above the rest so far. But stranger things have happened in this sport, and complacency has brought down many a fancied opposition in sport.

Jaker Ali: We would like to bowl first. He got injured during a practice session and unfortunately he misses out on this crucial game. I am excited and looking forward to this game. We are doing really well as a team and we will try to give our best. Surface looks pretty good to bat.

Suryakumar Yadav: We are happy doing it. We have got what we wanted in the last 4-5 games and we are happy to bat first. We have to follow the good things that we have been doing and the results will take care of itself. The boys have done their bit, it is part of the game. Much pleasant (weather). Same team.
