After taking shower I was getting ready when I received Manik's msg
" reaching in 10. Get ready fast. "
I didn't know 'MANIK' this name started giving me thrill now a days. But I wanted to hide it.. Hide the feeling growing inside me.
They reached to pick me and I straight got into the car without wishing 'hi or hug' to any of them.
Cabir-"Aunty kab tak aayegi" Cabir asked me.
"Don't know .. but certainly jab tak my aunt will not recover she won't come. "
Cabir-"Toh there's no problem with day time but in night kya karegi. ?"
"Why. ? Kya matlab hai kya karungi. ? If you have forgotten I stayed alone before also when Mom went to visit dad remember? "
Cabir-"But lady gazni we were with you those days vul gayi short term memory loss. "
"So what. ? Now I grown up enough and can manage myself. I don't need anyone."
Cabir -"really. ? You have grown up that's why you need us more.understand?? Manik tu kuch bolta kyun nehi. ? "
Manik -" it's her life. We shouldn't interfere. If she wants to stay alone then let her be."
Cabir- "what's wrong with you Maanik ? You are supporting her nonsense. ? What's wrong with you guys. ? Are you guys out of your mind. ?"

Manik kO hua kya hai.?
He was the one who was over protective about nandu and now he is behaving so strange man.!!!
Even nandu. ... something wrong between them.. but what. ?
Kahin Yeh dono patch up se pahle hi break up Toh nehi kar liya. ?
Cabir... so much of high thinking. Shut urself up otherwise they will shut down your life.

In school.
After three boring periods we started our works for the event.
Raghav sir- "guys kal tum logo ne kuch v nehi kya I guess today u are all charged .?"
We just smiled as a yes gesture .
Raghav sir-"Okk then as you all know we have only 5days left so it's high time guys pull off your socks. Toh today I will decide your work. Mukti and Abhi you go to the decorators. Dhruv and aliya you guys go to the other classes and collect their names if they interested in participating in any activities like dancing or anything and cooperate with them. Nandini and Navya you guys start making the banners. I hope Cabir and Manik have already brought the colours and other props. Right? "
Cabir -" ohh sir yehh we went there but shop was closed. "
"Really cabir. ? " Raghav sir sarcastically smiled " that's very sad of them that they missed such a great people. Aren't they.?"
"Ohhh sir you right sir. " cabir replied in same sarcasm.
Raghav sir-"What ever it's a waste of time to argue with you guys better you go now and obviously with Nandini. Because I can trust only her in your group. So guys now move fast. "
All we headed towards our respective works while sir again said " where you are going. ? If all of you are going for only one work then what's about the rest. ? So Manik and Nandini tum dono props lene jaoge and Cabir and Navya you two will prepare the guest list okk"
Cabir -"Me and this madhubala. ?"
Navya- "Hum aur cabir? "
Cabir- "No"
Navya - "Nehi"
Cabir and Navya shouted in unison.
"And before anyone can argue further let's put the end of this topic and rush to your works. Now" and he left.
"What gonna I do with this black and white movie. ?" Cabir frustratingly said placing his head on my shoulder.
Nandini- "Cabir shut up. She is very good yaar . Don't behave like a moron. Okk and plz b good with her for me at least. "
"Nandini hum kya karenge akele" Navya worriedly asked me .
Before I could say anything cabir replied " kya karogi. ? You will do na.. Chewing my head. "
"Cabirrr" I pat his back .
" heyy you now can we go.? " Manik asked me.
"Bye guys and cabir Plz help but don't trouble her Okk. " and I left with Manik.
In car
Manik and me are not talking to each other. Mean time mom called me
" hiii mom. How's aunt? "
mom- "Hii beta. Hmm she is not so well.but How are you. ? school ?"
"Oh maa ohh you know na about that school event. So we are going to prop market."
mom-" alone or with someone. ? Manik Cabir sath hai na.?"
"Manik hai sath. You just don't worry" I annoyed .
mom- "Manik hai.? Chalo toh fir thik hai. Pass the ph to him. I want to talk. "
" but mom why. ?"
mom - "Give na "
I sighed and passed on the phone to him saying "Mom wanted to talk with you. "
"Heyy Rose maa. How are you. ?"
...
"School work maa you know na it's hell"
...
"You know na how stubborn your daughter is. She won't listen to me."
...
"Okk okk Rose mom. Chill. I will be there. Main Hun na. You not to worry. "
...
" I promise I will take care. achcha mom I am hanging up as I m driving. Will talk to you later. Bye. U take care."
And he hanged up the call .
"I don't need any baby sitter. I can take care of myself own." I said in showing attitude snatching my phone from him.
Manik- "Oo hello... who said that I am going to baby sit you. ? I told mom that I will take care of myself not any stubborn head. "
Nandini -"Stubborn head? You called me stubborn. ?"
Manik- "So aren't you.? "
Nandini "I am not a stubborn but you definitely are ...you monster"
Manik -"Yeahhh true. Huh"
And we had to stop or most accurately paused our fights as we reached the shop.
In shop
"Bhaiya Yeh sab dijiye" and I handed over the list to the sales man.
Sales man -"Ohh Yeh sir to kal v aye the but kuch liye hi nehi. Toh kya aap hi wohh kya tha naam...o... nandini madam ho. ?"
I was surprised listening my name that too from an unknown sales man.
"yah I am but how do you know me. ?" I asked.
Sales man -"Oh madam kal Yeh aapke dost aaye the but couldn't decide what to buy and choose so they were taking your name. "
"Ohh" I sighed but in my heart I replied "Ohh Toh they were missing my presence. Impressive. "
"Ohh hello baat karne k paise milte hai tumhe yaah kam karne ka. Do it fast. I don't have the entire day for this. " Manik said in his signature attitude.
Sales man -"Yeh aapke dost itne gusse me kyun rahte hai har waqt? "
" wohh Bhaiya wohh kya hai na kuch logo ki face hi ayesehi hota hai.. scary monster type. You can't help it " I replied in a low voice.
So after the struggle of two hours and lots of fights and arguments we finally got through with the marketing and left for school.
In school same time
Navya was trying hard to talk with cabir but couldn't. After lots of fail attempts. She finally gathered some courage .
Navya- "Cabir ooo hum puch rahe the ki kya tum humari madad karoge yeh list banane me.?"
Cabir -"kyun why should I help you. ? yaar yeh Raghav ne kahan phasana dia.."
Navya -"Oo this project is our na that's why. "
Cabir- " dekhiye madhubala ji mujhe yeh madad karne k elawa v I ve better things to do in my life. So plz stop bothering me. "
Navya got hurt with cabir's rude behaviour. So without speaking further she started doing her work.
Cabir himself felt bad for his unnecessarily bad attempts towards Navya as he had a fragile innocent heart.
Cabir -" hey yeo madhubala I mean Navya ji... aap kripa karke jyada worked out maat lijiye Nandu hain na. She will handle it. So stop worrying. "
Navya - "par cabir. . Woh Nandini kitni kaam karegi aakeli. ? Don't you think we should help her?"
Cabir got angry with her words as she was trying him to say the value about his best friend forever. !!! He said " listen you don't need to tell me about the do's and dont's of my life and my friends. I know them better. So you must keep your kaam se kaam without commenting anything about hum. Samajh me aaya. ?"
in car to school
We were not talking to each other for some while when Manik broke the silence.
Manik- "Wohh kya ho raha tha wahan. ? "
"Ummm...You are asking me. ?" I dramatically replied.
Manik- "Nehi nehi I m talking to Mr India. Obviously to you... u stupid. "
Nandini- "ohh I thought we are not talking with each other only. That's why just got confused." I mockingly said.
Manik-"Yehh we are not talking but umm... what you were wishpearing to that duffer sales boy.?"
Nandini- " he was not duffer but cute. .. "
Manik (annoyingly) -"what. ? U found that bloody sales boy cute. ? R u out of your mind. ?"
Nandini - "why.? Why r u being so worked up. ? Ummm...jealous? ???"
Manik promptly turned his face to me with that 'jealous' word.
He was shocked as he was caught by me. In order to hide his defeat he answered "jealous. ?? My foot.. I think u ve forgotten whom you are speaking with. Dude it's Manik Malhotra. The unbeatable one. The..."
"The insensible idiot" I said stopping him in middle of his self praising commands.
"Insensible .? Idiot. ? Me?.? Listen. ..just shut up okk. " Manik annoyed.
"Jia jale ja jale ..." I started humming to irritate him more.
"Now what is this" he said clenching his teeth, glared at me as he was gonna kill me then and there.
"Nothing just humming you know...jia jale..." I replied with a stern smile and move my gaze out of the window just to make him hell annoyed.
Back to school.
We reached school and handed over the props to Raghav sir. He was impressed with our choices of items.
He then asked us to focus on practice as our performance would be the special eye candy of the event.
Nodding yes we left and joined others in the garden area.
school backyard ground
I walked towards Navya to find her busy in preparing the guest list and banner design.
"Navya" simply pat on her shoulder.
She raised her face.
"Tohh all set. ?" I asked.
"Nehii wohh Hume design kuch samajh me nehi aaraha. " she replied.
Nandini-"It's not a big deal. You should ask for cabir's help."
Navya -" cabir ki help?"
Nandini-"Navya is there anything wrong. ? You want to tell me something. ?"I found her lost and asked.
"No..nehi... "she shook her head.
Nandini-"Agar kuch hai toh you can share it with me right. ? Toh whenever you feel to talk just remember I am just a call away. Okkk. Now chalo let's go. "
"Hmmm " she gestured and we bid bye to each other.
In evening my home
I was watching my most lovable show on tv when the door bell rang.
"What the. ... now who's this. ? I have already told the maid not to come then. ? " blabbering I headed to open the door.
But there was no one.
"What the... hello " I shouted but getting no response I shut the door and started watching TV .
After 2-3mnts again "knock"
"Urgrrgg.. Aaiyaappa sabko ishi time pe aana hota hai to disturb me."
And again I opened the gate finding no one.
"Hello. U whoever u r ... listen stop irritating me."
I yelled in air and shut the door with a bang. But inside me that nandini started panicking a little bit.
I took a glass of water to drink to make myself calm. And in the mean time again
"KNOCK" but a little louder.
I scared. Scared like hell.
"Aaiyaappa... what's going on. ? Yeh Ho kya raha hai. ? Kisi ko pata chal gaya kya that am alone tonight.? Nooo..."
You idiot Nandini kya jarurat thi showing up your attitude to Manik that you don't need any one. . Now what would I do.?"
"KNOCK KNOCK" even more louder.
My heart started beating very fast. Even 18 degree Celsius of ac temperature could not help me but sweating.
Grabbing some courage I took the vase of the center table and proceeded to open the gate constantly taking Aaiyaappa's name.
I peeped through the eye hole but again found no one outside. That time my panic button skipped into curious button. And I promptly opened the gate.

Guys thanks for your appreciations and love to my ff. My semester is knocking at the door so its not possible to update daily. plz consider this. diL se sorry. but i will try my best to update daily.
