MaNanBir reunion.
Manik tried to share his feelings with Cabir but could not.
Raghav sir gave them project.
Part 13
In canteen lunch break
We were annoyed with Raghav sir for chosen us . But there were two people who were beyond happiness for their own reasons. They were Aliya and Abhimanyu.
Both were happy thinking of spending time with their respective loved ones.
But I was literally pissed off . I didn't wanted to participate in these events as I found them boring. Or else I was that kind of girl who herself was boring bookworm. Only Aaiyaapa knew how my kind a girl got lucky to have world's most coolest BFFs.
"Speak of the devil and devils are here" i told myself as I saw them looking at me with a smirked smile as they could clearly made out muddle my situation.
"What? " "What so funny? " I asked raising my shoulders in irritation.
Hearing this they looked at themselves and replied " What? Nothing. ." In a same manner.
" guys let's go. It's already 12:50. U know na raghav sir is strictly punctual. Late ho jayenge toh he must be angry naa. " Aliya told us .
Abhi then joined her "Yess Chalo Chalo. .. come Mukti "
" shut up you chomu.." Mukti replied getting ready for going.
" guys... Chale Hmm ?? " then Aliya asked gazing Manik.
" kahin pe nigahe kahin pe nishana " Cabir sarcastically said. " by the way Mmaanik chalo baby..." winked at Aliya.
Aliya blushed.
"Hmmm Chal. Wasevi subha se Niyonika ne 10 baar is event ka alarm baja chuki hai. " Manik baffled.

On a piece of information this Niyonika is not our friend but a mother . A mother who is called dragon lady by us the MaNanBir. Niyonika Malhotra. Yes u ve guessed right. Manik ' s mom.
She loves her child but not more than as the business associates. And as a CEO of Malhotra groups of industries it's her responsibility to take care of the school and it's events. So she has already instructed or should I say forcefully ordered her 'beloved' (in a finger quotation) son to look after the event and make it grand.

They were all ready to move when they noticed me sitting like that only.
"Kya calculate kar rahi hai Einstein. ? Chal " Cabir told me.
" guys I am sorry but I don't want this. So you go and I will look for an excuse. " I said
"But Nandu..." Manbir in unison.
"Guys if she not felt comfortable with it then don't force her na..." Aliya said as it was good for her to keep me away from them to be lucky enough with Manik.
Sensing my irritation they said "Listen... " then they both stretched their hands towards me
Manik- " you know na you can. You can better than us. No one can beat you "
Cabir- "so plzz khud pe daya karna bandh kar and let's go. "
Manik- "And by d way we will b at your back. So let's go."
---Nandini Pov---
" Aaiyaapa no one can beat them. why they love me so much!!! they have so much care for me. plz aaiyaapaa give worlds all happiness to them.

I was happy as they encouraged me. Then I smiled and stood up holding their hands and hugged them.
"Yaar jo v bolo.. Tum tino ka pyar bonding is awesome. ." Abhi said seeing the love understanding between us.
"As becoz we are awesome three some dude" and we started walking hugging eachother.
Music room
Raghav sir told us that he was thinking of a musical and as Manik was already the lead and best vocalist of space they need one female voice.
sir-" Aliya ,Mukti as you are in the band. Then why don't you guys try as the female lead as we don't have any female singer. "
mukti- "Sir I can't sing but may be Aliya..." and she winked at her.
"Yeah sir I will try. " Aliya happily accepted as she got a chance to sing with the Manik Malhotra.
"Okk then let's do a trial guys.. What's say? " Raghav sir suggested. " Manik let's start. Then Aliya will join you. Okk guys."
Manik was disgusted with Aliya but his love for music was more than his irritation towards Aliya.
So he started a melody.
But Aliya could not matched the tone and it bcm a disaster. She tried again and again as per Raghav sir instructions but it was not her day or her capability to match the Manik Malhotra.
"Aliya ur notes are not coming perfect dear... " Raghav sir told.
Manik felt too disgusted to bear that Aliya and her repeated mistakes as she was not singing with her heart but jealousy..
Finally he gave in and said " Sir it's totally a waste of time.. It's better I sing alone and they played the instruments."
" I think you are right Bro..." Abhi and Cabir agreed in unison .
"Ohhk then Manik start for the last time I need to check the song and lets search for a female lead " Raghav sir sighed.
Manik was pissed with the mess he had created in his life. First off all he did not wanted be a part of this project , secondly Aliya's repeated mistakes and over all his dilemma to share his feelings with his best friends. He was litterly embittered with his frustrations.
I could perceive that he was going crook and he was churlish with Raghav sir to sing him again.
So before he would go antagonistic towards Raghav sir. I decieded to save Raghav sir from monster's anger and vice versa.
"Manik" I called..
He surprisingly turned his face to me becoz it was the first time I have called him after that incident.
He was totally confused and happy in the same time.
"when sir is asking to sing once more then whats the problem? You know one artist can sing in every mood coz only his art has that power to cheer him up. And music is your art , your passion.. hain na??" and I blinked my eyes as an assurance.

Bar bar.. har baar how does she manage to show up when I need her.. ????
she really surprised me every time..
God she is so precious to me.
and the main fact is she smiled and she called my name after two bloody long days..

Then Manik smiled back ,tuned his guitar and staring at me started...

then I suddenly started singing and every one get stunned...

I did not why I sang but I sang feeling Manik's each word was for me.. as he was trying to express his feelings for me.. ohh again this feelings...!!!
Manik then smiled and sang

Manik then came near and sat beside me and softy removed the errant strand of hair which disturbing my eyes giving my heart one extra point and sang...

Every one was startled seeing such a dazzing singing bonding between us.
Cabir excitedly hugged us "Wohhoo mere the do anmol tha ratans...dil garden garden kar dia."
Raghav sir was pleased with my voice and asked" wow Nandini u ve got such a good voice. I never know that you can sing so well. Why didn't you choose music as elective subject. ?"
"Wohh actually kya hai na sir Nandu ko singing aur dancing ka bilkul shoqk nahi hai" Cabir sarcastically said mocking kuch kuch hota hai movie famous dialogue.
"But Raghav sir on a serious note Nandini is a trained classical singer ." Manik then proudly informed.
I didn't know why but I was overwhelmed with Manik 's words.
"Ohh that's seriously interesting Nandini. I must say u should keep on singing. . You have a terrific voice.And the way you improvised today I must say you can complement Manik Malhotra. Right Manik. ?"
" Yess sir. Only she can complement me." Manik replied with his husky tone and smriked at me.

Aiyaapa yeh isne kahna kya chaha. ? What's cooking in his mind? Per why I am feeling again butterflies in my stomach.. yeh monster ek din mujhe mental asylum vej k rahega... .

You are absolutely right Raghav sir. . Only Nandu can complement ,compete and beat me.. I don't know why but I would love to loose from her.. may be as bcz we are best friends or something more... (A cute smile flushed on his face and he slightly rubbed his lower lips. )

Raghav sir -"So guys that's the plan. A musical will be held. Manik and Nandini will do the lead vocals and and all of you guys will play your respective instruments.
And one more thing as we don't have much time toh I thought that you should split into groups for arranging the event well.. so I think
Abhimanyu ,Mukti and Navya will arrange the decorations.
Cabir and Shaahid will do the props arrangements.
Aliya and Manik will work on the guest list as Manik ' s family is the trustees toh it will be easy for him.
And Dhruv Nandini tum dono other arrangements like seating arrangements dekhoge okk "
Manik then immediately said " Sorry Sir but let me inform you that we are not gonna work separately. "
Raghav sir - " WE.? By d way Listen Manik Yahan pe teacher main hu tum nehi. So you have to obey my orders. "
Cabir - " no sir Manik is right . Agar kaam karenge toh hum tino sath karenge. Or else... "
"Or else no one will do" Manik was back in to his monster mode.
"Tum tino. ? Koun tino. ?" Then he realized who was that three they were talking about. "Ohh u mean u three " Raghav sir said Pointing us. The MaNanBir.
"Well I have heard about ur fraandship. today I have witnessed it. " Sir said.
" Okk as you wish then let me make a slight change.. ummm.. then MaNanBir will look after the guest list and props. And Aliya and Dhruv and Navya will arrange the other things like seating arrangements , banners etc. Okk guys. "
"Sir sir..." I suddenly said.
"Now what's ur problem Nandini" Raghav Sir asked.
"Ohh actually sir.. umm.. if you don't mind can Navya be with us. ?" As I said this I noticed three people looked at me with disbelieve .
"What????" Manbir gaped at me.
"But why Nandini. ?" Raghav sir asked.
"Ohh sir Navya has a good choice in props so if she will be with us na toh it will help us.. What's say Navya ?" I winked at her.
Navya was first shocked then realized my plan to get her close to Cabir and smiled shyly as an affirmation.
"But sir ..." now it was the time for Aliya to protest as she was pissed off with her plan to be with Manik gone failed " if Navya will join them then how can we manage with banner painting and other stuff. ?"
Before any one came out with any other issues I said " sir don't worry we will do the banner paintings along with prop arrangements and guest list too?"
"WHAT ???" ManBir literally screamed . Now it was a big shock for them.
"Okk okk then I am taking this as a final. So guys today u just make list and get some innovative ideas for the event and we will discuss it tomorrow. " and he left.
Now it was my turn to leave from the two volcanos which I ve ignited myself.
"Wait." I was about to leave when I heard it and turned to face them.
"What was that? " Cabir asked.
"What. ? What are you talking about. ?" I hesitatedly replied.
Manik - " What we are talking about. ?? "
I could feel the anger and disbelieve in their voice and it was justifiable as I ve simply taken the major responsibilities on us without thinking twice.
"Tu pagal ho gayi hai nandu. ? Tujhe pata v hai tune kya kia. ? Tera Dimag toh thik hai. ? Whats wrong with you?"
Cabir started scolding me "and listen you knw na what you have done just now? It'll gonna b a huge headache I am telling you."
I made a sad pout.
Manik noticed it and said " achcha baba.. Now let's not discuss about it. And we'll think of the next that how to get rid o this..okk.."
"Par Manik... its not so easy." Cabir looked tensed.
" guys I ve done this for Navya. U knw na How introvert she is.. Toh if she will with me na toh she will not feel alone and the good part is she has a good choice in props too. " I tried to convince them.
"But Nandu with this Madhubala..." Cabir irritated.
"Cabir... " I pleaded .
After some time
"For Navya... Huhh? ?" Manik said sitting beside me.
I gave a questioning look to him.
Manik again asked me "Like seriously! !! It's for that Navya?? Haan?? "
" Yahhaa for Navya only.." I hesitated and looked away.
Manik- " achchaaa.. toh fir this match making Job is still on ?"
Nandini - " wh..what do you mean haan? "
Manik - " you tell me what did I meant?" and he smirked.
----Nandini pov - - -
Aaiyaapa mujhe aisa kyun lag raha k ishe pata chal gaya. .. no. Plzz no.. He should not get to know this. But monster's that smriked said that I ve caught.
Arrgg.. No Aiyaapa. ...

"Hello ... stop disturbing Aaiyaapa again. " he paused then started " toh you have done this for Navya... good... fine..."
And he fixated on me and we shared an Eye Lock and suddenly we started laughing. We laughed our hearts out.
Manik understood that I was doing all these to get Cavya close.
Both of we were known each other to the perfection.
After our breathtaking laugh Manik abruptly asked.
"Nandu I need to talk"
