But I have to mention...they've been quite CONSISTENT regarding Manik's fascination with SHINING things like stars, Nandu's earrings...surprisingly idealisic the boy is for all his cynicism...which is why he feels let down so easily anytime he sees the light faltering...cuz he doesn't know what to think if the light isn't clear enough to guide him.

But it's not as easy as it seems. it's very complicated and I hope the CVs will do justice to it.

Because more than anything Manik will be jolted out of his ground, he'll be shaken off his feet. Right now, the only reason he's so staunch and hard about is because he so madly wants to believe that he cannot cross the line between pretense and actual monstrosity.
He wants to believe he doesn't have it in him to kill someone.

The thing with Manik is that he sees everything in complete intense form. If a normal person, a good person ends up killing someone, we'd know and we'd first predict it to be self defense or some reason, the person won't be that jolted either.

But if a person who already has an established record for notoriety, for temper and crossing the line, nobody will seem to give him the benefit of doubt.

The only belief that's not letting him black out is the 'i can never cross that one line' the moment he does, even for Nandini, his own brain will be rattled and he will have serious set of doubts (he honestly should) and I think that's the point where he should go back into reverse and heal anew. I don't think there's a more perfect opportunity to bring in the past and take the growth forward.
