Nandini would follow music only when Manik makes her realize it. Because with a teacher , she will be mechanical, her need to be ideal student kicks in. But with Manik, she is vulnerable, confused and distracted. He will have to help her pick the pieces for her musically too because she might not be sure of what to do after this and concert. Her success at concert will push her on the eventful journey.
Honestly we know Manik loves music because it helps him channel his emotions because for him music was largely part of the coping mechanism.Hence the passion and focus .But with Nandini , she has grown up with a very different take on music , her affinity stems from fondness and raw talent. She will need his passion and he will gain her disciple together they will build the perfect symphony.Just the trope for this story is no separation emotional or physical for them. And internal issues. Rest they play around but these two rules are unchanged. Very clever but difficult way of story telling.
