Wow Arathi,You penned it down beautifully. It is not Manik if he is not behaving the way he is now behaving. All this confusion could be because it is not shown verbatim on what is going on in his mind.

He is more angry with the situation than at Nandini but not knowing how to vent it out , his anger is channelised towards Nandini. At the same time he also realised that hurting her only hurts him more. He is now relying on her Hope and like you said ,he will fight for her hope to win. And I really want the CVs to show this way like you mentioned.
