The only reason I have seen Manik jealous is when Nandini was close to Dhruv ---- the reason --- Manik's own insecurities that Dhruv was better for Nandini and that she genuinely liked Dhruv, albeit as a friend but for Manik that relationship was what he envied and wanted that affection and attention from Nandini and adding to fact that he was always obsessed and possessive about Nandini from the day they had met.
But now...Manik was never jealous when he saw Nandini spending time with Abhi... (Admit it we all were hoping for jealous sparks from Manik with that one).
I feel Manik and Nandini's relationship is way deeper than any pettty jealousy... i mean yeah he will never let anyone else claim the place he occupies in Nandini's life, not even close... but Manik is one heck of a guy, a true lover... he won't crowd Nandini or her relationships with her loved ones...he will protect her always and want himself to be placed highest in her priority list... but be jealous just because she is close to her teacher...that I feel is not Manik.
Once Manik felt comfortable in her affection for him (friend stage)...remember how he called Abhi as " Nandini's quirky likes".
I think in the long run, Manik would be one of those guys who are strength and support system of their ladies...they trust their love completely, feel proud in the fact that their ladies have admirers but know this for a fact that Her love is for him completely, absolutely and irrevocably.
For their Love to be so strong they need this stage of trials and test. Nandini needs to earn that trust again because even Manik knows that without her he will truly and utterly be lost...lost to the darkness that he hates most, most scared of...
they say if you have once seen the light you would never be able to live in darkness again
if you ever felt true love once, you can never be completed without it again
And these two souls...beautiful innocent soul... they both need love... the kind of love only they can give each other...
these days... the only emotion that exists in Manik's eyes are hope that desperate and almost pathetic hope that his Nandini will find HIM again, make him whole again...this is what I see in every gesture of Manik.
You say jealous...jealousy is like that extra salt that this dish doesn't need right now!!!
Manik, an already damaged soul, requires trust and love in their most pure form that only Nandini can provide...both know this...it's just time to see whose hope holds out longer and whose so called hatred lasts longer...Who breaks his shields first... who lays down her weapons firsts..
of course we are all rooting for our little SHERNI...So yes Manik "Bring it on"... lets remove the poison from the wound then will I HEAL you with my love and adoration..My Monster.
Notice- how Nandini has not called Manik Monster once, during the IHU track.
