please help nandu with basics of playing veena

Avtually the instrument is not heavy at all , it is called saraswati veena bcz its made of dried hallowed pumpkin & light weight hollowed bamboo bark & the strings part is same the bridge & the strings on the top.

First she shd sit in ardha padma asan put the top end with a small head on her lap & the the other end on the ground vertically towards her right hand & with one hand she shd play the strings & other hand shd move the fingers on nodes according to the swara stanas, she is playing strings but not moving the nodes.if it is so in real no one can really hear that sound more than a second.. I agree if they have chose to make nandini play veena they shd make her do proper Hw like how others manik, druv, mukti & kabir are doing, A good hw shd be done. so that like me if some one else really know to play veena they don't feel bad. funny .. unnatural

And the music played with Veena is as though a mythological serial background score y can't they get something beautiful original track I m sure they wud be having someone to guide them on this 😉

ACTUALLY EVERYONE like manik, dhruv, mukti the guitar and cabir drums and alya keyboard, play it decently . only veena was a mess till now.

Sue...i m not sure but i think your video shows a sitaar not a veena..and both are played differently...a veena has spheres on both the ends...one bigger and one smaller, unlike the one ended sitaar...😛

Totally agree that the veena playing was ridiculous...nd needs tons of attention...

i thought i put rajesh vaidya video who is a great veena player in south india dear..it is not sitar, i think sitar is held vertical and veena horizontal dear 🤗
