Can't agree with you more! She needs to be shown playing it more realisticly doesn't have to be perfect but getting the feeling that she is actually playing it the "correct" way would be nice to see :)

I am disappointed that most people only want MaNan Scenes and they don't care about any mistakes. I don't think the creatives have any knowledge of Music or Musical Instruments. Do they even know that the Veena is associated with the Goddess of Learning Saraswati? I wonder. The veena is played by sitting cross-legged and the instrument is held in a 45 degree angle positioned as mentioned in the post. But who cares here? It's a pity that such a divine instrument is not given the due respect.
Earlier I was annoyed when there was a scene of Soha lying on top of a Piano with footwear on seducing Manik. I have learned classical music for 10 years and was taught to treat the Guru and Instruments with respect. I really can't tolerate when I see this sort of disrespect. But why am I even saying this? Most KY2 fans will stay blind to everything else other than MaNan so let me not waste any more time taking out my frustration.

🤔 I asked a veena player. She told both the sides (Kudam - in Tamil) should be placed on the ground. It becomes so difficult when placed on the ground, so many players of modern age keep a side (Kudam) on their lap.
I had the same doubt and got it cleared long before.😆
