I was meant to reply to your other reply but I'll do it all on here! Like I said yesterday everything is now taking shape and we had our first match today.
I do think his heart took the lead again on this one, as much as his mind was doing all the thinking and what not, he couldn't of put her through the pain of drinking that vinegar on her own.
I'm so glad she took his glass on the second round, she knew what he was doing. Trying to be the monster infront of everyone but she knew he was drinking it too. I'm just hoping for a confrontation tomorrow between these 2 and she says to him why did you drink it as well!

Nandini did so well today, she didn't back down and took what he gave!! I love this strong nandu, I want her to stay and give him what for!
Like she said "I trust you manik, tumhe jo karne hai, woh tum karlo. Par I'll keep fighting for us" And that's what she did today, will do tomorrow and carry on doing! 👏
You've got this Nandini, go get your man back!!!!!

Wow another amazing post! Love ur writing style the way you analyse the scenes and bring us the deep meaning behind what is happning on screen! Hats off :)) n yeah I also thnk the same the fusion concert will hopefully be day they reunite a contrast to musicana when it was the day they seperated... This time music will reunite them once n for all <3

I am going to start with your final thought as to who won today ? The mind or the heart ? I say even today Manik's heart took victory. Let me tell you Manik's secret. Whenever his heart and mind will battle it out in terms of the love of his life: The damn heart will always win because he just loves the girl too much. I can bet you all of nandu's fireflies the heart will win. The mind has an edge ever so often as it did when Manik decided to play a twisted game of double dare.
But the heart wouldn't have it. How dare his mind think of making his love suffer ? So he decides he too shall suffer. He drinks the vinegar, the acid washing down his throat and he feels the pain. her damn pain ! But he bears it all with a smug Monster Manik expression.
Even in suffering..they are companions. And he suffers much more..Not only he washing down the acid..he also feels the heavy guilty of making her suffer.
And she sees right through him too ! The whole world beleived that Monster Manik and she was the first to tell him.."You are not a monster Manik..you have so much goodness in you " Like i said..the man is just making himself miserable.

Manik is playing a mean game but not just with Nandini but rather with himself. He is trying to bring back Monster Manik that he doesn't realize person suffering the most is him.If you can't see the girl in pain then why inflict it on her ? oh yes, i forgot. You are trying to be Monster Manik. Totally makes sense to us. NOT. My Manik is such a twisted soul and I love him.
i give Mukti credit for being able to foresee that Cavya's plan will backfire but only if they knew he too drank the vinegar...waiting to see how Cavya and the rest of the gang play a role in Manan's life now
Manik is pushing Nandini and i forsee that he will push her harder each day not to break her mind you but rather to make them unbreakable. He will test her at every possible point because she has failed the most test of his life: the test of trust. And now this kickass Nandu will pass every test of his. As we said earlier last week. It's Nandini's turn to fight for Manik. To show him that ' that together they are fun'
Major Kudos to Nandu today. Twinkie and I are very happy to know that you indeed have your mojo back ! Loved her attitude today ! She faced him head-on with a fearlessness she had in the initial days of the show.
it would have been useless for all this pain to go to waste if they had just put a blanket on their issues and patched up as Cavya are working towards.
This is a uphill battle my friend..one that Manik's mind will make as hard as possible for Nandini but his heart will do its best to help her.
Like the instance today where he turned away when she was visibly uncomfortable with her bare legs. It was actually a beautiful moment for me. He has seen her much less in earlier steps of their relationship but even today he respects her and preserves her self-respect as you said.
Fusion Concert. Hmm i am wondering what twisted game Nyo is playing by throwing Manik and Nandu together with Pandit. Cabir already wonders how they end up all the time without trying but now she is purposely putting them together. Nyo.. Manik Baba doesn't really hate his shining star (he is just being delsuional and fooling himself and the world)..moreover he is fighting a harder battle to safeguard his heart. Nyo's plan will definitely backfire and we will get both the Pandit-Manik clash and the old good Manan bickering and quarreling. Good times ahead.

You know I might have actually eventually given up on this analysis thread in a few days to come but seriously all the support from you and the others and how you take out the time to actually send in such descriptive response is what drives me on! And naah dw... I could relate to and understand everything you were trying to say. As I've said before, many times you express certain thoughts in your response that I often am unable to include in mine.

Okies so let's get this started... So first of all, very rightly said that today, just like yesterday and the days before... the heart again had the upper hand. And welll obviously don't you and I know very well that it will continue to do so in the time to come. His inner strength to bear all this pain himself is all due thanks to the heart, not the mind. It's the heart which gives birth to the emotion of love and nourishes it till the very last breath we breathe. So there's absolutely no way he can hand over his little baby to the vicious mind. The only thing that will change in the days to come is the intensity of how much strength did it take for the heart to win over his mind. And Manan's victory in true sense will be on the day the without thinking twice, Manik would follow his heart and let go of all attachments to his mind.

I absolutely agree with you there. There are just so many struggles that our Manik is going through. His struggle between the mind and the heart is self-explanatory. But then there's also his struggle of keeping his true self hidden behind this mask of his. There's also the struggle of fighting with his emotions whilst seeing her in pain, right in front of her eyes. The struggle of keeping himself away from her. The struggle of denying his love for her. I feel a though he doesn't realize just yet that the more he'll try to push her away, the more she'll succeed in coming closer to him. The more he'll try to wound her, the more pain he'll suffer from himself. The more he'll try to hide himself behind this mask of his, the easier it will be for Nandini to de-mask him. He's forgotten that if he can be stubborn then Nandini is infact the synonym stubbornness itself. In more intense situations, her love for him and her confidence in his love will only deepen as every time he will leave behind some clue that will make Nandini realize that he is mirroring the exact pain onto himself that he's trying to inflict upon her.

Whilst I do appreciate Cavya's and Mukti's concern for Nandini and Manan's relationship, I feel Nandini shouldn't reveal anything to them just yet. It's her fight and to some extent she will now realize that she is his weakness so it's that secret that should perhaps just remain within Manan. Just like she was hiding his secret that he is not a monster? I don't know if I'm making sense but yeh lol

Definitely! Couldn't agree more with you on this. Cavya's duo is primarily only there to make them bump into each other in the corridor or lock them up in a room alone but the rest of this healing process must be performed solely by Nandini. It's her battle to prove that if Manik can die for her, she can go to any extent to bring him back to life.

I'm actually really looking forward to their music rehearsals. Apart from the quarreling scenes we will get to enjoy, it would be interesting to scene what type of music the CV's will come up with to showcase the love story of Manan at this fusion contest!

Okay so I'm so sorry again for the massive phone stuff up and that I couldn't post earlier. It made everything just so damn hard lol Like I've had this post written since morning and saved on my phone and was like dying to get home and post it.

I would say he took it too literally what he said.. I am not going to suffer alone.. :)
I think nandini standing for her love and making it clear, may it be verbally during the chudidaar scene or without saying anything during vinegar scene, that she is there to fight for their love and she will suffer if that's what he wants but he wont be able to stay away for too long, soon they would be together. Path may be long, hard, painful but their love is worth fighting for.. And i strongly think that the day maanik realizes that love is worth fighting for he will give up this idea of mission torture nandini.

Btw i think even today heart was having upper hand in this battle..
Mind may have garnered some points for vinegar drinking and pushing nandini away during chudidaar scene but Heart... Oh it dominated the whole episode.. And mind didn't even realize it.. When maanik looked away seeing nandini uncomfortable with her bare legs, the monster within had to hide out and it was a draw at that point... But when he drank the vinegar and nandini showed him without saying anything that she knows it.. Heart was clear cut winner... Well maanik might think otherwise, his friends may think that too but Nandini she was on to it...

Lovely post yourself! Especially loved the bits that I've highlighted in red. Hell yes! She definitely knows him better than he knows himself and that vinegar scene said it all. Plus did you notice the pain in her eyes after she came out of the bathroom after throwing up? Everyone thought it was because of the vinegar, but only we know the real reason. She was in pain because her love was going out of the way inflict more pain on himself. And to some extent, she knew it was because of her. But I'm more than confident that moments like this will only make her stronger in fulfilling her goal, her dream. The dream of seeing him smile once again and be bound to each other by the knot of forever togetherness.

Absolutely correct when you say that the heart won once again yesterday. And as more days will go by, it will become more difficult for my Majnu Manik to battle and try to ignore the heart!
