I loved every inch of that ice-cream scene - pre and post scene setup... Parth was exceptional today as maanik... The restlessness, the pain of vinegar - so evident when he was searching for remedies... And here our own nandu was confused if she should call him or msg him.. I liked how the editing was done in this part.. The bit where they show call ended with maanik that part... She realizes that words wouldn't be cure for the pain.. She knew just the perfect way.. Well maanik may have not expected her to be waiting, he was thinking, ice-cream to laaya how to ship it to her doorstep without letting her know about his worry ... But she knew him so well, knew exactly why he was there... She didnt have to do much to see her Maanilk.. Just one msg and he was there.. He wasnt the monster maanik he was claiming for past couple of days.. He was her maanik.. The best in him.. Getting her not just any ice-cream.. But all flavors And how cute it was that he was still trying to defend his presence to *wanting her to be in one piece for next time* 😆😆 Who is buying that.. Not us, not your nandini... Are you buying it yourself Maanik? 😆

But as Nandu tells him that she knows that he drank vinegar too.. The look he gives her for just a split second, his bhanda to phut gaya 😊 (i am glad how they cleared up this bit.. and how we had field day yesterday with guessing game, was it both rounds, both glasses of vinegar, did he already know, will she let him know... Now that i think about it.. it was perfect editing kept for our own interpretation 😊 sorry i got side tracked here but just couldn't help admire this whole vinegar scene in the light of its remedial ice-cream scene 😳)

But once she declared that she knew and how, he couldnt stop... He spoke his heart for the first time since it was injured.. He couldnt hide his hurt that came from hurting her.. Again welcome back *nandu's maanik*... But for me epic was he expressing his helplessness... *matlab kya karu.. Whatever i think of... * He couldnt even finish that sentence..That was gold.. (btw loved this part of acting too 😊) The war between heart and mind so clear out there and there was no doubt left for nandini to guess who is going to win that war..

So he might be struggling with this war but Nandu.. She knew exactly what to do.. Her eating the ice-cream that he got for her, standing besides him so innocently.. That had to be bigger relief for him..Seeing her relief from pain must have been bigger relief than his own.. The tune, the lyrics, his expressions.. it felt like scene worth swooning on... Fell in love with manan all over again..

At this point i think he realised how much she loves him.. All he wanted from this night outing was to give her this ice-cream and get back his piece of mind.. But what he got was much more than that... He got piece of his heart back too.. When he was helpless and thinking about what to do, she knew exactly what she has to do.. Do the one thing that he came for.. That his heart desires... And the way he looked at her eating ice-cream, i am sure he finally understood that nandu knows how much he loves her even though he may not say so.. How much he is waiting for his heart to be fixed and to be able to love again.. As you said glad his mind was sleeping because if it was not he would have ran back to his dark home right at that moment.. He wouldnt have picked her finger instead of the carton to take that ice-cream... And the look he gave to nandini and bg music of *tu kar aitbaar mera main karu intajaar tera* Yes he is waiting for her ...

As soon as he pulled himself out of that moment i was scared.. Scared all this might spiral downwards.. But nandu, she knew exactly what to say.. She wants him to smile.. But she is not going to do anything that he doesn't want to.. She wants him to want to smile.. And yet she wasn't to remind him that he is not doing things in correct way... I liked that about her.. She is always right to best of her abilities 😊

Well said.. Niyo setting up nandini but she is going to fall in her own trap...When she asked maanik dont you hate her too... Maanik didnt say anything.. Thats a first step isnt it.. The broken hearts are mending, now it might be long before its fully functional but the first stitch always brings biggest joy because you have fought the inertia... Next steps are the easiest.. They would certainly be eventful, entertaining but chosing the correct path.. Its time to party... 🥳

yes.. this is the first time two warring parties would be on same side. The both sides of maanik want to be in that class room.. Reasons may be polar opposite but center of their attention would be same person.. Nandini.. It wouldnt be Pandit, It wouldnt be Niyo.. Because we all know Maanik hates Nandini more than anyone because he loves her more than anyone 😊

And naah dw... I could relate to and understand everything you were trying to say. As I've said before, many times you express certain thoughts in your response that I often am unable to include in mine.

Okies so let's get this started... So first of all, very rightly said that today, just like yesterday and the days before... the heart again had the upper hand. And welll obviously don't you and I know very well that it will continue to do so in the time to come. His inner strength to bear all this pain himself is all due thanks to the heart, not the mind. It's the heart which gives birth to the emotion of love and nourishes it till the very last breath we breathe. So there's absolutely no way he can hand over his little baby to the vicious mind. The only thing that will change in the days to come is the intensity of how much strength did it take for the heart to win over his mind. And Manan's victory in true sense will be on the day the without thinking twice, Manik would follow his heart and let go of all attachments to his mind.

I absolutely agree with you there. There are just so many struggles that our Manik is going through. His struggle between the mind and the heart is self-explanatory. But then there's also his struggle of keeping his true self hidden behind this mask of his. There's also the struggle of fighting with his emotions whilst seeing her in pain, right in front of her eyes. The struggle of keeping himself away from her. The struggle of denying his love for her. I feel a though he doesn't realize just yet that the more he'll try to push her away, the more she'll succeed in coming closer to him. The more he'll try to wound her, the more pain he'll suffer from himself. The more he'll try to hide himself behind this mask of his, the easier it will be for Nandini to de-mask him. He's forgotten that if he can be stubborn then Nandini is infact the synonym stubbornness itself. In more intense situations, her love for him and her confidence in his love will only deepen as every time he will leave behind some clue that will make Nandini realize that he is mirroring the exact pain onto himself that he's trying to inflict upon her.

Whilst I do appreciate Cavya's and Mukti's concern for Nandini and Manan's relationship, I feel Nandini shouldn't reveal anything to them just yet. It's her fight and to some extent she will now realize that she is his weakness so it's that secret that should perhaps just remain within Manan. Just like she was hiding his secret that he is not a monster? I don't know if I'm making sense but yeh lol

Definitely! Couldn't agree more with you on this. Cavya's duo is primarily only there to make them bump into each other in the corridor or lock them up in a room alone but the rest of this healing process must be performed solely by Nandini. It's her battle to prove that if Manik can die for her, she can go to any extent to bring him back to life.

I'm actually really looking forward to their music rehearsals. Apart from the quarreling scenes we will get to enjoy, it would be interesting to scene what type of music the CV's will come up with to showcase the love story of Manan at this fusion contest!

Okay so I'm so sorry again for the massive phone stuff up and that I couldn't post earlier. It made everything just so damn hard lol Like I've had this post written since morning and saved on my phone and was like dying to get home and post it.

@bold. You are absolutely right. From a distance Manik seems like a monster. He is such a twisted soul..his past has moulded him such that everyone believes Monster manik exists except for his lady love that is.

Nandini truly sees the best in him that's why her response to M's " you haven't see the worst side of him" is " i want to see the best side of him" Oh the love.

Back to the sweetness of today..I had a feeling that they would both be restless knowing the other is 'suffering' because of the vinegar and i predicted messaging or a phone call at best but the CVs pleasantly surprised me with Manik landing up at Nandini's place. Missed his late night visits. Cheers to the return of them.

Nandini is so confident in his love for her still. She knows that if he hears that she is suffering, he will find a damn way to end, even if he has to go to the other end of the world for it...He will ! in this case, he bought half the ice cream shop for the girl he supposed 'hates' . He and Nyo are so hopelessly delusional..lol. But my damn heart melted into a puddle when he is opening each box telling her the flavours because he wasn't sure what she liked. Oh Manik, why so damn sweet ?

And before she can dig into the ice cream sweetness..she can to find a way to end his pain too. So she tells him the truth. she knows he drank the vinegar too ! You know what my beautiful moment was ? I always have one and today, Manik's look to Nandini's revelation is this 'beautiful moment. @ bold, you described it perfectly, I won't even try to. But there was so much love and pain in one damn look that i couldn't help but love Manik more

His friends claim to know him best when he so easily fooled them with his ' Monster Manik' mask drinking the vinegar like alcohol, given nothing away. . But Nandu knows him best. And she says it: :" Manik and I share a very deep connection" And they prove it time and again.

Oh the agony. It was a knife through my heart when Manik openly and honestly admitted. " It hurts..It hurts to hurt you " ! it was such a bittersweet moment for me because he is hurting but he is also healing.
Someone can only fix a problem when they know what it is. So he tells her ! It hurts, It burns ! and she understands.. She looks on with understanding giving him the space to speak out. She wouldn't even flinch if lashed out in anger even. And she will heal him. Her love will be their balm. She will soothe away all the hurt in his heart until only pure love remains.

@bold. Yes! she tells him: " your smile is beautiful and i want it back" but she wants all of him back..his smiles..his frowns just so she can soothe them away..his anger so she can calm him down. She wants all of him. the lyrics: Cause of me loves all of you...All your perfect imperfections"

Lol..thanks for the shout out. i told you there is no problem that cannot be solved thru communication. And i thank Manan for communicating and Manik for starting the process. Don't worry..i have faith that eventually these two will be able to balance making out and talking..lol.

They played a very apt song for Manan while Manik contently watches his girl eat the ice cream that will end her 'suffering'. You defined that moment as Manik's heaven as it was because with her, everything is just right.

He is nothing without her..his life has no meaning. he has no identity. he has no reason for being. With her, he is Manik, just Manik who can be real, be good, be himself.

Nyo. What do i say about her ? I wouldn't wish a mother like this even on my worst enemy and my baby Manik has her as an excuse of a mother. She is responsible for giving birth to the 'monster' in Manik and she nourishes that monster with sadistic pleasure of giving him misery. Oh the grief. Karma is gonna start paying her back real soon and pairing Manik and Nandini together backfiring is just the start.

This is late and this makes no sense but you will be nice about it cause you love me..lol

Everythingn you wrote, just all made perfect sense. Man I absolutely love love, love that scene when he's finding words to express his heart's situation to her. The stuttering, along with his helpless look and his restlessness of knowing that she's in so much pain. It was just all such a magical moment. He didn't know whether to be angry with himself for asking her to drink that glass of vinegar or whether he should be frustrated with her for being so stubborn and agreeing to what he told her to do. At that moment, everything was so much more real than if the mind had accompanied him to nandini's house.

I exceptionally also loved the fact that when he spoke, she quietly just listened and when it was her turn to speak, he didn't say a word either. It just shows the growing understanding between the two when both of them know that no matter how angry they might be each with each other, or how hurt one of them might be by the other... they will always have the right to think about each other's well-being first and all the other things can be postponed to a later stage. I love how she just tore apart his mask when she revealed to him that she knew about the vinegar in his glass. That was the moment he snapped. And he snapped because he knew know matter how much he tried to hurt her, torture her, pain her... she wasn't going to be giving up on him now, soon or ever! He was frustrated because she didn't stand against him in this fight but rather she stood beside him. He stood there with a loss of words to explain his situation because she was driving him utterly crazy in her love! And when she started to eat that ice cream, a sense of relief washed through him because she hadn't struggled or fought or argued with him about not eating the ice cream. She had done simply what he wanted her to do.

That's so true when you say their hearts are mending now. It's definitely going to be a steady and lengthy journey, but as long as they walk together on it... the end result will be fruitful and permanent. At the end of this journey, there never will be any room of darkness in their lives again. Like the fireflies; she;ll shine for him and like the stars; he'll burn for her!
