@ bold...Girl...you and I are sadist partners now. I actually think of scenes you probably liked while I watch the episode too.

Okay, i want to discuss Navya first so i am glad you brought her up. To be honest, her character I initally didn't like when i first started the show. She was too chirpy for my liking and she was continuously blinded by her 'love' for Harsad. I am damn face-palmed myself whenever she fell for Harshad but her character has grown leaps and bounds and Harshad's harsh betrayal has played a huge role. She has grown up in a very short span and i have come to admire her.
Cabs and Navya duo is becoming a fast favourite, These two will develop a very beautiful friendship. Cabir will become her support system through her pregnancy and like we always say, Cabir is a gem of a person.

@bold for the Manan section. I absolutely agree with you. Relationships that face hardships early on, and manage to overcome always have stronger relationships. Because they realize the person they love is worth fighting for...all the way. And that's how it is for Manan. It's one of the reasons i love this track, this track is making Manik and Nandini into Manan..in every sense, mind, body, soul and heart. Nyo was able to break Manan because right now, their relationship is vulnerable, there are cracks in it that Manan must fill such as trust and abandonment issues. And once they acknowledge it and work on their relationship, they will together become invincible.
Also Nandini's idea of becoming friends was the right one at that time and despite Manik's initial reluctance, he agreed with her. Because lovers that are friends have the most long lasting relationship. Friendship in any relationship is really a cementing element and Manik and Nandini should become the best of friends for the utmost strength in their relationship. And plus, reseacrh shows that marriages between friends last the longest..lol.I couldn't help it. I had to add this.

You know me too well already Twinkie. That look was pure love

I love our essay form of discussion cause we both never get tired of discussing Manan so yeah..keep the essays coming.
Okies, now i gotta get my gluteus maximus off IF and lock it down and study for a few hours. If you see on IF, please scold me..lol.

Edited: I forgot something again..lol. I have been thinking about the Soha dead but not being dead. Why is being left hanging that way ? I hope Nandini chooses to investigate and gets to the bottom of this. Soha being dead or not doesn't factor into how 'Nandini betrayed his trust' but being left hanging like this doesn't work for me. Last night, i was thinking how it was the miscommunication between Manan about Soha that caused all the problems. Manik chose not to tell Nandini about Soha being psychotic and Nandini kept him in the dark about leaving. I hope eventually they will get around to the NEED to communicate in a relationship. Okay now i am done.

p.s love the new dp..The minion is so so cuteee <3

Alrightey so here I am again!!! Aah the bliss of writng an essay for you is the joy that nothing else provdes hahah
Anywho... so first thing first. Dudeee people probably hate us right now for being the massive sadists and tragedy queens that we are. I mean we like happy endings but the emotions of pain, hurt and agony that our Manan experience is what makes us love them. Maybe it's because it brings out the best in the both of them and their passion and need for each other seems to escalate to a brand new level. It's probably also because we both know that after they surpass this sea of fire, there is only "forever" destined in their lives.

Man how I love reading the repetitive lines of ours that express how Manan's bond is bound to get stronger and unbreakable after this track. The thought "whatever happens, is for the best" seems to have been only written for them. Because no matter how many times they face misunderstandings or difficult times , destiny always manages to bind them together in a knot which compels them to work together and find the solution of the situation.

Hahah you are a little nerd I must say ;)

And I agree 100% with you on the bond that Cabir and Navya will share amongst each other in the coming future. They will truly be the missile of friendship where I know for a fact that this life-longing friendship of theirs will also help the both of them in the healing process of their love-wounded hearts. They will eventually be the biggest support system for each other! :D

I sincerely hope you got through much of your uni workload and feel a little de-stressed now! :)

Aaah god job partner! I brought up a similar point in one of replies to another writer on this thread. Manan need to learn from their mistake of the lack of miscommunication here. Whilst they do it out of goodwill to save the other person from worrying too much about circumstance, but it is important they understand that when the're alone, they are 2 and when they join they become 11. Half their problems wouldn't even arise if they learned to open up more with each other and share their worries, because after all they are just two halves of the same heart. They need to become each other's strengths not each other's weaknesses.

Okies so now I'm done! Feel kind of bad thought I took so long to reply to you :( but I hope you know this just the start of our endeavor together of analyzing every second of Manan's life! haha

Oh and thankyouuu for liking my minions! Absolutely love them :D

Loads of love...

Twinkie <3

SO you wrote me a essay so i must return the gift my love..lol..here goes.

@ bold, you gotta give Hi-5 girl cause you liked nailed it for us. The pain, the agony, the angst just bring a new level for our Manan. Plus the agony of loving someone so much and fighting to be with them..damn sadist bliss for me !

Every obstacle and hardship in a relationship ends teaching a couple much more than sooth sailing ever will. And as you mentioned, Manan are the 'forever types, the soulmates connection', they will surpass every hardship eventually and find themselves together as a stronger, more established couple. And like they say: no pain, no gain. This especially applies to relationships because we humans must put in conscious effort to make a relationship work, be it any relationship in life.

@ bold...i agree 100%. They must figure out that together they can become each other's strength so the world can't utilize their weaknesses. I mean they will always be each other's strength but also each other weakness in a way because of their love for each other. I feel as thou the person you love the most will always somehow will remain one's weakness in one way or another because of the overwhelming love you have for that person. In my opinion. Manik will always be Nandu's weakness and vice versa.
Sheesh, i take too many works to explain one point..lol
Communication is vital, talking things out can solve just about every problem and had Manan talked earlier, all this could have been avoided as they will learn when they do choose to talk things out. I really really hope they TALK more in their relationship in the furture. I am all for the touchy, lovey-dovey scenes but please Talk Manan.

Don't worry girl..this is a ongoing cycle..as you said, we will never get tired of analyzing Manan..lol

Alrighty...me is gone..will see you for Day 5 analysis and hopefully their day 1 has finally ended..haha

believe it or not, I actually thought she was going to reply with something similar too but then I realized nah it would be too dangerous to interrupt manik at that point so she shouldn't say it haha obviously though as his "so called torture" for her will become more intense, Nandini's confidence of winning him back will increase in a parallel mannerism. She's going to give him a Takkar ki fight! 😆

I love your analysis; the mind Vs the heart is Manik's big challenge and I deffo think the heart is finally taking the lead now.
As much as he's trying to pull away, blame her or even saying "once a monster" he'll never be that manik even if he tried. Now Nandini has finally got her mojo back and is now going to fight for her Manik and his trust back it is going to be one interesting battle and we can finally see how it's going to take shape after today's epsiode and boy I can't wait 😃

I can't wait to read more of your stuff and I'm so glad you've made a thread. Your such a talented writer 🤗

Omg I'm soo sorry I haven't replied to you post! I read it and smiled so much whilst reading it but seriously I don't know how I overlooked replying to it. Sincere apologies again.
Okay firstly I want to thankyou from the bottom of my heart for taking the time out to post your thoughts here. I feel loved! 😛 hehe

Dude absolutely! The fun has just started and boy how much I have missed them quarreling. Like no doubt I love their lovey-dovey scenes and all but their fights have their own fun and bliss to them! And well manik is just so not aware of what his Nandu has in store for him. The more he'll try to push her away, the closer she'll get to him. It's gonna be a tough fight and we already know that at the end it won't be his or her win, it'll be their win!

Thankyou again for all your wishes and compliments... I hope I can continue to enlighten you with my posts haha

Dudee how do you manage to do it! Like seriously after I finished writing my reply to you, I realised I forgot to mention that no pain, no gain idea because it had been roaming in my mind for the whole day ... but just look at you. Reading my mind and completing my thoughts for me ;)

No matter how many words we use to describe their relationship, it just never seems enough because the emotions associated with their relationship is way too deep for everything to be expressed in words.

Now let's see what dhamaka this upcoming episode brings with itself.

Toodles babe! <3

DAY 5 - The Drops of Pain!

"I trust you Manik." Tumhe jo karna hai, woh tum karlo. Par, I'll keep fighting for us. Jab tak tumhe samaj na aye, that what fun it is, being together"
She has definitely understood the importance and need of Manan's togetherness in this life, now it's our Romeo's turn.Today, we saw the official kick-start of Nandini's project "Fix what's been broken". And undoubtedly, some scenes were necessary, others were touching and many were heart-wrenching. But we all should be used to those passion-filled, pain-coated and tear-soaking scenes of Manan. It's why we can't take our eyes off them.
He had claimed that he would make her life as difficult as hell. The most difficult till yet. But she made it seem so absolutely damn easy. He had hoped she would break. But it just continues to make her stronger. Her fearless stare into his stern eyes alongst with her words "I'll drink it", proved that their love for each other will become the pillar of strength in this fight of the mind vs the heart. And then he demanded for a second round! She coughed, but didn't decline. Mistaken was he when he thought that she wouldn't be able to see past that mask of his. He expected her to call him by his preferred name "Monster Manik", but little did he realise that his identity was not that which he or his friends knew him as, She was his identity. She shaped him to be the individual he stood today, Be it his extremist side of both the bad or the good, but only she knew how to bring out both the sides. She was the heartbeat that his heart echoed when he felt her presence around him. She was the first and last thought of the day that his mind dared to think. In fact, she seems to be the only thought. She is that smile which plays on his lips when her touch makes him forget all the worries in this world.

But it would be unfair on my part to say he has forgotten Nandini's importance and her need in his life too. It would be unfair of me if I were to voice that he was joyed at the sight of seeing her in pain and discomfort. If she could drink those drops of pain and let her throat burn for the night that is yet ahead of her, he has promised himself to always protect her and thus he drunk those pearls of affliction himself too. Ironic isn't it... or shall I say true love isn't it that the man who announced so smugly that he will make her go through the same pain that he's going through, has once again proved that she may love him unconditionally, but he loves her in such a selfless and self-sacrificing way that if the need be, he would even sacrifice himself for her but wouldn't stop loving her.

Oh with what such beauty that scene was portrayed. (Kudos to parth and niti). And then came the moment that stole the whole show away. How he had again thought that there would never be any realisation from her side of how much he loved her. He was confident that she'll never find out, but I guess destiny had something else stored for them. It was such a magical scene when she thinks of picking up his glass and sculling the drops of pain that he wanted to hide from his friends, from his love. It was almost as if his stars and her fireflies had come together in the night of that moment and called out that voice straight from the heart that he's again hiding something from her. Just like he's been masking the true reasons of his care-filled actions towards her, his motif today too was the same. But this time he couldn't succeed. She could see clearly through the cloud of illusion that he had tried to form in front of her eyes.

If we actually think about it, Nandini has to fight a fight within a fight from now on. Complicated right? She has to not only fight for Manan's unquestioning love, but she also has to fight Manik's battle in making him realise that there is no room for the mind when true love awaits you at the door of your heart. He made her realise that love is an emotion, an unbreakable bond that can't be untied so easily once sealed. It's not a thought which can be overshadowed by the constant thinking of a second thought. That's the reason that the actual drops of pain wasn't the glasses of vinegar they both had to drink. The painful drops were infact those tears that they drank within, before they even had the chance to run down their cheeks and make their way to the lips. The beads of pain were infact those tears which never left the eyes upon seeing their soul-mate in so much pain. the pearls of pain were infact those tears which if they had started to weep, would've never stopped upon seeing the unselfish love they both feel for each other.

So the mind vs the heart? Who won and who lost today? I would say neither the mind won, nor the heart. Her unwavering faith in him and his forever promise of always protecting her, won. Her willpower of not letting go and his morale of respecting her self-respect won. (Referring to the bedroom fight scene over her tights, when she lands up on the floor and he turns to glance in the other direction because she was feeling uncomfortable due to her bare legs)

She shook his grounds today and he again gave her another reason of why he couldn't let her go. This is just the beginning of their love story, not far is the day when his stars and her fireflies will witness and bless their union of forever togetherness.

So guys hope you liked today's episode just as much as I did! I seriously think I'm suffering from a Manan-OCD syndrome!😛

Stay Smiling :)

P.S. from the way they're giving this fusion concert so much importance and especially the last line by the principle saying this fusion concert will be the most iconic concert in the history of space academy, I think we may just be in for a couple of surprises on that day. A hopeful reunion of Manan on the night, perhaps on the stage itself and this may just be the new beginning for the music careers of both our lovebirds. Like I had mentioned in one of my posts which is separate to this thread... she is his lyrics and he is her tune. So let's wait and watch i guess!

reserved for moi...so here i am with my cents that usually ends up being a essay..lol.

First. i have to say that today's post is absolutely beautiful. You seem to have a magic wand for words...you put such beautiful thoughts that i am always somewhat in awe of it all. ( No, this is not me being biased, this is legit honest.) Take a bow babe !

I am going to start with your final thought as to who won today ? The mind or the heart ? I say even today Manik's heart took victory. Let me tell you Manik's secret. Whenever his heart and mind will battle it out in terms of the love of his life: The damn heart will always win because he just loves the girl too much. I can bet you all of nandu's fireflies the heart will win. The mind has an edge ever so often as it did when Manik decided to play a twisted game of double dare.
But the heart wouldn't have it. How dare his mind think of making his love suffer ? So he decides he too shall suffer. He drinks the vinegar, the acid washing down his throat and he feels the pain. her damn pain ! But he bears it all with a smug Monster Manik expression.
Even in suffering..they are companions. And he suffers much more..Not only he washing down the acid..he also feels the heavy guilty of making her suffer.
And she sees right through him too ! The whole world beleived that Monster Manik and she was the first to tell him.."You are not a monster Manik..you have so much goodness in you " Like i said..the man is just making himself miserable.

Manik is playing a mean game but not just with Nandini but rather with himself. He is trying to bring back Monster Manik that he doesn't realize person suffering the most is him.If you can't see the girl in pain then why inflict it on her ? oh yes, i forgot. You are trying to be Monster Manik. Totally makes sense to us. NOT. My Manik is such a twisted soul and I love him.

i give Mukti credit for being able to foresee that Cavya's plan will backfire but only if they knew he too drank the vinegar...waiting to see how Cavya and the rest of the gang play a role in Manan's life now

Manik is pushing Nandini and i forsee that he will push her harder each day not to break her mind you but rather to make them unbreakable. He will test her at every possible point because she has failed the most test of his life: the test of trust. And now this kickass Nandu will pass every test of his. As we said earlier last week. It's Nandini's turn to fight for Manik. To show him that ' that together they are fun'
Major Kudos to Nandu today. Twinkie and I are very happy to know that you indeed have your mojo back ! Loved her attitude today ! She faced him head-on with a fearlessness she had in the initial days of the show.

it would have been useless for all this pain to go to waste if they had just put a blanket on their issues and patched up as Cavya are working towards.
This is a uphill battle my friend..one that Manik's mind will make as hard as possible for Nandini but his heart will do its best to help her.

Like the instance today where he turned away when she was visibly uncomfortable with her bare legs. It was actually a beautiful moment for me. He has seen her much less in earlier steps of their relationship but even today he respects her and preserves her self-respect as you said.

Fusion Concert. Hmm i am wondering what twisted game Nyo is playing by throwing Manik and Nandu together with Pandit. Cabir already wonders how they end up all the time without trying but now she is purposely putting them together. Nyo.. Manik Baba doesn't really hate his shining star (he is just being delsuional and fooling himself and the world)..moreover he is fighting a harder battle to safeguard his heart. Nyo's plan will definitely backfire and we will get both the Pandit-Manik clash and the old good Manan bickering and quarreling. Good times ahead.

Sorry girlie..my response seems a little too disjointed and messed up. I doubt i made much sense so beware..lol.

Much love as always..

Reya aka Your Sunny ❤️

Completely agree with you... His friends may have thought he was being a monster but they didn't know what nandini knew even before she drank the first glass... He was going to drink vinegar too... I think swapping the glasses was her way of showing him that she knows.. And along with monster there resides a person who cant see her go through that pain alone...
I would say he took it too literally what he said.. I am not going to suffer alone.. :)
I think nandini standing for her love and making it clear, may it be verbally during the chudidaar scene or without saying anything during vinegar scene, that she is there to fight for their love and she will suffer if that's what he wants but he wont be able to stay away for too long, soon they would be together. Path may be long, hard, painful but their love is worth fighting for.. And i strongly think that the day maanik realizes that love is worth fighting for he will give up this idea of mission torture nandini.

Btw i think even today heart was having upper hand in this battle..
Mind may have garnered some points for vinegar drinking and pushing nandini away during chudidaar scene but Heart... Oh it dominated the whole episode.. And mind didn't even realize it.. When maanik looked away seeing nandini uncomfortable with her bare legs, the monster within had to hide out and it was a draw at that point... But when he drank the vinegar and nandini showed him without saying anything that she knows it.. Heart was clear cut winner... Well maanik might think otherwise, his friends may think that too but Nandini she was on to it...
