Any game be it love or cricket needs formidable foes to make the play interesting. If the enemy is weak, the game is a goner...a clich...so in order to enjoy a game, we need a strong team on the opposite end too...
Heres to some very interesting players who make our team's life hell, but then this won't be a game of glorious uncertainties without these star performers...
The other side of the coin...the ballers!!
Obviously the most lethal will be the likes of Nyonika...a spinner par excellence. You never know from her cool, measured saunter where the ball is going to land...her every delivery unexpected, her length always a surprise, enough to lure a batsman to doom, the striker never knows what hit them, the batsmen totally unprepared for the out of control and totally unpredictable curve. Plenty have been caught unawares...no wonder she is a star experienced player...collecting heads on the mantel...a hobby!!
Now another kind ...Harshad...a medium paced bowler...might grab some wickets by luck but usually thrashed with pleasure!! He might or might not deliver...the only problem..after the initial surprise, the batsmen catch on to his predictable style, and always hit the ball for a run!! His delivery, once set, is always easy to play and a certain star batsman always manages to whip this guy for 4s and 6s. Lets just say the likes of Harshad are always badly beaten at their own game..they do more damage than good...😆 These kinds make power play a cheering pleasure...
Then, there are the opportunists...the one that see a batsmen come a little bit further in anticipation, or see a player unfortunately placed and strike...smart enough to seek a lapse in the other side's defense. These kind are not really talented, but are extremely good at taking advantage of a momentary change of fortunes...the kinds of Khurana!! A batsmen makes a small error in judgement...and lo...his likes strike!!
And then are the totally dangerous kinds...the fast and furious bowlers...they will go to any lengths to win a game sort. They can hurt, harm or maim a man to get him out of the game without blinking an eye. Yes...Soha Khurana...such kinds are absolutely moral less and totally obsessed with only one goal...winning..by whatever the means. If the guy refuses to leave the pitch..aim and aim hard...if he does not walk away..he will be carried away!! Yes...such kinds do exist...don't believe me...just google the infamous bodyline ballers..you will know what I am talking about!! But such bowlers always can be played and once the tactic to handle them is learned...their deliveries always lead to resounding and cheering boundaries...their balls always a full toss!!
And there is a new entry too...a formidable one by the looks of it!! This bowler means business... An unknown entity yet...we have no clue if he is a spinner or a fast or a medium paced bowler. Only time will tell...
