(definitely for cricket lover or addicts like me..if the game bores you...shooo😆...that was some game maaan...!!!!)
Two things that have singularly managed to make my busy life more miserable...two things I love and hate with equal passion...KY2 and cricket!! Damn if one has not taken over my hectic weekdays and the other has not seized my exhausting weekends...so just decided to combine the two and be done with it...revenge...sweet revenge!!😆
But no one can deny the similarities. The princy of SPACE...the one who has that unexplainable accent living in Mumbai, reminds me of a corrupt umpire...the one who is an integral part of match fixing, under the thumb of the bookies, and without fail is always unfair, and partial...he is answerable to the big wigs you see...😡
And then there are umpires like Chacha and Chachi...sweet and tubby...umpires who look like they are only concerned with food and drink breaks...let the world battle it out...we will be in our dreamlands dreaming of pleasanter things...in case of trouble...what is the third umpire for?? Uncomplicated...😃
And of course there are the batsmen...some like Dhruv...nervous, unsure...are in so much of a hurry to score...and have such lack of communication with their batting partners...end up being totally confused and run out at the first opportunity...they do no good to themselves or the team...
Then, there are the likes of Alya...who only play for themselves...the team, the country...what are they, and why should they matter?? Remember those players, everytime they make a century, the team loses...😉!! So...just play for your glory, look after your needs...
Then there is our Mukti...aggressive to the core..definite to get into a scuffle or heated argument with the baller of the other team...some swears...some abuses are bound to be exchanged...She can bat...but is totally unfortunate. The partner on the other side of the pitch keeps on changing..first she cannot find a reliable trustworthy partner, and then finally when she manages to find a good one, and is ready for a steady partnership..she is clean bowled by an unexpected googly...luck never favors some it seems...
We can say the same for our unfortunate Cabir too...the guy has no fixed batting order in the team...his entry in the field depends on the teams's condition...sometimes he is sent in as an opener, sometimes middle order, sometimes even later...he being the only one understanding enough, mature enough and dependable enough...the team relies on him totally and the poor guy has to bat in any which position and condition...and so he is has no steady batting partner at the other end. This Mr. Dependable and The Wall...is destined to play alone, no partner to match his antics on the other end...his game totally in the hands of the team manager...a note...this guy is always lbwed...has a leg before the wicket...😛
Navya...hmmm...now here's one loose cannon in the team...when plays guarantees a hit, if not can be a total dud!! Sometimes capable of surprisingly shrewd moves and sometimes her throwing away the wicket has us tearing our hair out...can't deny though that she has helped the team in some tight situations (and also landed them in soup several times) This one has a permanent health condition now..so might be deemed unfit to play soon...
😆😆😆...why am I laughing...well...depending on the way you guys receive this commentary on the game...I am gonna talk about the other characters. If you want me to continue let me know...if not like my last one...this can rest too...😉! ( ok...truth be told...this is getting too long anyways...will need to split...so ...)
