Part 7

Next day early in the morning Door Bell rings. Nandini opens the door and is surprised to see Abhimanyu on her door.

N : Tum (Shocked)

A : (Smiles) Hi. Can I come in.

N: Sure Sure please. How did you find my address?

Abhimanyu takes out Nandu's diary which she left at Abhi's place.

N: Oh this diary. Thanks my important notes are there in it and I'm sure you got to know my Address from the diary. Abhimanyu right (abhi Nods) thanks for that day.

A: Anytime. Waise I saved you and if you really want to thank me then you will have to go for coffee with me.

Nandini could not say no. so she told him yes. They exchanged numbers and she told him that she will call him and let him know when they can go this week.

Nandini is getting late for college. Cabir will directly come to college from Airport. Abhi offers to drop her and she agrees. Abhi drops her at the college happily.

At the college Fab5 and harshad are back and they are sitting in the cafeteria. Nandini and Navya are also in the cafeteria but they are sitting on a different table and doing some girls talk and giggling. Navya is also giving those looks to Cabir and he is getting irritated. Manik is trying his best not to look at Nandini.

Mukti : Waise cabir to Navya ke bare mein kya sochta hai. I mean she is a good girl and it she likes you then why donot you try knowing each other.

Cabir : Mukti tu yaar apna kaam kar naa. Isse naa mujhe janna hai aur naa pehchanna hai. Waise hi meri behen hai na nandu. Wohi wafi hai yeh jaan pehchan badhane ke liye usse.

All others laugh.

The day passes by. In the evening when Nandu and Navya are crossing the road they meet with an accident. They were very careless and chit chatting and did not hear the car honking at them. Nandini is unhurt but Navya gets hit in her hand. Nandini immediately puts her in an auto and is on her way to the hospital. Navya is in too much pain. She calls cabir and puts the phone on speaker.

Nandu : Bhai . Navya and I were crossing road and met with a small accident. I m fine but Navya got hurt in her hand badly. I'm going to the hospital please come and help.

Cabir : Nandu , Koi chot vot nahin Lagi hogi . Wo bas uske drama hai meri sympathy ke liye .. You drop her to the hostel and come back.

Nandu : Very upset. Bhai have you gone mad. She is in too much pain. You come immediately.

Cabir: Lister Nandini I told you I am not coming anywhere.

Nandini becomes super angry : Ok fine you do what you want. I'm not talking to you ever again.

Cabir : Ok do as you wish. I'm not coming anywhere.

Navya who is also listening to the conversation is completely heartbroken and realizes that cabir doesnot even care a bit for her.

Nandu takes Navya to the hospital. Navya has a fracture in arm. Nandu gets her plaster done and takes her to the hostel room.

Nan : Hey Navya . Im really sorry about what bhai said. I know he was very insensitive.

Nav (gets emotional & while crying) : Nahin nandu , actually its good. I got to know today that Cair doesnot care a bit for me. Acha hua pata chal gaya. Now I will stop myself and will never go behind him.

Nandu is very very sad. She can feel Navya's pain. Nandu is also angry on his brother for talking like this.

One thing which we donot know about Nandini is that when she gets angry she does lot of drama. She has not been that angry for years but today Navya's pain has made her very angry and she just wants to meet her brother and thrash him left right and center.

In her hear Nandini also believes that her brother ignores his own happiness for fab 5. She always feels that Cabir should do few things for himself also.

Navya tells Nandini that she should leave as it's getting late and her roommate would take care of her if she needs anything.

Nandini doesn't want to leave but then she has to confront Cabir also. Nandu is in full sherni mood and she calls Manik

N : Manik . Is bhai with you at your place.

M : Haan

Nandini immediately disconnects the phone and leaves for Manik's house.

M : Isse kya hua . Bye bhi nahin Bola

Nandu reaches Manik place and Manik opens the door. She pushes Manik aside and goes charging at cabir.

Cabir who is drinking swallows his drink in a funny way as soon as he sees Nandini charging at him.

C: Lagta hai aaj mood bahut kharab hai chotu ka. Mar gaye!! God save me

Nandini comes charging at cabir and starts hitting him hard...

Cabir : Nandu ... kya kar rahi hai yaar...

N : What do you think of yourself. How can you be so insensitive. I am goining to kills you.

C: Kill you ka matlab...tera eklauta bhai hoon main...

Nandini doesnot stop. Manik is enjoying this a lot . Cabir looks at him.

C: Saale dekh kya raha hai bacha naa

Manik laughs and come near Nandini. Holds her from the waste and takes her to the room nearby...Nandini is still shouting at Cabir.

Cabir takes a sigh of relief when Manik is taking her away and shouts - Who teri friend pagal hai pagal aur tub hi pagal ho gayi hai uske saath rehke...

Manik looks at Cabir and tells him to stop. Cabir then turns around shakes his head ans starts having the drink.

Manik is trying to cool down Nandini in the room and they accidently fall on d bed. Manik is on top of over and they have an eyelock.

Suddenly the anger filled eyes of Nandini becomes really soft looking at Manik. She is kind of lost in him and he in her. Manik comes near her and their Nose touch. Manik moves his fingers on Nandini's lips. Nandini is also lost in the moment.

Suddenly they hear Cabir's voice outside and come out of this trance. Nandini gets up and feeling really awkward. Manik also gets back to his senses and then asks her why is she so angry. She tells him everything and Manik places his hands on her shoulders and tell her to cool down and he will talk to cabir to not be that rude with Navya. However he also tells Nandini that if Cabir is not into Navya thenno one should force him to date Navya which Nandini agrees. Its amazing how Manik has cool her down and she is quietly agreeing to whatever he is saying.

Cabir finally comes in and Nandini is kind of ok with him.

C: Nandu lets go home now. Aaj ke liye kafi ho gaya.

M: Cabir tune aaj kafi pee li hai , come I will drop you home.

C: Haan tu drop kade. Ek kaam kar you take you clothes with you. Stay at our place tonite.

Manik kinds of like this idea. He looks at Nandini who is looking down and agrees .

They all reach Cabir's place . Cabir immediately goes to sleep. Leaving Nandu and Manik alone in the lobby.

N : Manik, come I will show you your room.

M : Haan . Chalo

He follows Nandini to the room. In the room, Nandini goes near the window and opens it as it was quite suffocating inside. Manik puts his stuff on the bed. Nandini is near the window and is enjoying the nice breeze.

Manik notices it and says : Nandini saari raat mere room mein hi rehna ka irada hai kya.

Nandini gets embarrassed and starts to leave and ask do you need anything

M : Haan I want some water.

N: Ok I will go and bring.

Nandini goes down to bring the water jug . In the meantime Manik goes to the washroom to freshen up . He is in his black waist and shorts.

Nandini enters the room while Manik comes out shouting from the washroom saying that there is a lizard inside. Nandini goes inside the washroom and take care of it and show it out of the window. She comes out and start laughing at Manik.

Manik gets angry and pulls her towards him. She tries to free herself and they again fall on the bed. This time Nandu on top of Manik. Manik gently turns her on the bed and he is on top of her now. They again have an eyelock. Manik gently places his lips on her lips and is completely lost in her.

Nandini pushes him a off her lips but Manik is still lost.

N : Manik...

Manik again bends and kisses her cheeks. Nandini pushes him aside and tries to run.

Manik stops her

M : Nandini . I like you . Will you be my girlfriend. You donot have to answer right now

Nandini looks at him and runs away smiling.

Manik also bites his lips and fall on bed happily.

Nandini rushes to her room and closes the door fast. Goes near the mirror and smile looking at herself. She says Manik Malhotra my answer is yes.
