So apparently I cannot post anymore on the initial post and so I will hereby continue on this only. Parts 1-10 are on previous post (Page 1) and the rest will be carried on in this post.

Manik, Abhimanyu & Cabir push the van from the back while Dhruv & Varun push from the front sides. The girls put all the luggage in the van and Mukti puts Navya in the van too as she can't stand for long hours and then they decide to help out too; Nandini assists Manik while Mukti helps Abhimanyu. Aliya leads everyone which direction to follow as she has come to the area in her childhood and by her memory there's a dhaba ahead.
Everybody push and push the van for a while and everybody ask Aliya why have they have not yet reached,
"Guys I don't really know why the dhaba has not come yet. I think we should carry on for a bit more." Everyone agree and they start pushing again.
After a while, at a distance, Aliya spots light and she screams,
"OHMYGOD!!!" everyone get worried and Dhruv asks her what's wrong,
"Nothing's wrong, I see light at a distance, we're getting closer! Come on guys, just need to push a bit more, come one!"
Everyone take a sigh of relief and start pushing again. Finally, they arrive at the dhaba and everyone wipe sweat off from their foreheads and smile that they finally reached after pushing the van for such a long time. They all lean on the van and have a sip of water and rest for a while.
A sardarji see's them and walks towards them,
"Oye hoy, aap log bohot thake hue lagte ho, aao ji chalo sab kuch khalo humare haat ki bani hui special and very famous lassi pyo ji, aao aao chalo!" They all look at each other and then give in and sit in the dhaba, Varun is about to sit next to Nandini but then Cabir pulls him, making him sit near him and pushes Manik to sit near Nandini. Mukti sits in between Navya and Abhimanyu and Dhruv sits with Aliya.

"Guys dhaba food is so amazing! Whenever I've come to this place when I was little, we always used to come here, this brings back so many memories man!" Aliya says.

"Yeah me too! I've been to so many dhaba's, whenever I go to Amritsar, I always have to go to their famous dhaba, this has brought back so many memories indeed!" Varun says.

"Amritsar? Tum Amritsar se ho?" Nandini asks.

"Yeah Nandu, didn't you know? Main vahan pe bara hua ho, my whole childhood has been spent there!"

"Wow, interesting to know!"

"Yeah! Anyway, guys shall we order something? Most dhaba's are famous for their lassi's..."

"Arrey Varun Lassi's are my all time favourite! Mumma humesha lassi deti thi jab mein chota tha, maine Dhabe trips nahi ki but Lassi's are my favorite!" Cabir says.

"Haan Cabir Lassi's were my favourite too, lekin ab to bhul bhi gayi how it tastes." Mukti adds in.

"Arrey Mukti tum kaise bhul sakti ho lassi ka taste. Tumhe toh aaj mein do glass lassi pilao gi!" Navya says and giggles.

"Yeah Mukti! Guys I think enough of Lassi and Dhaba stories, shall we order something bohooot bhuk lagi hai abh!" Abhimanyu says.

The sardarji comes back and asks them what they would like to have. They order: 4 full Butter Chicken, 5 Paneer Paratha's, 5 Aloo Paratha's, 2 Malai Kofta, 2 Palak Paneer, Rajma & 10 Lassi glasses. They're food arrives and everyone start eating except for Manik he asks,

"Guys no fork or knife? or even spoon? How do we eat?" Everyone laugh at him and Nandini says to him,

"No knife or fork or even spoon, here you eat with your hands only, tabhi toh mazaa aatha hai na!"

Manik makes a face and starts to eat with his hands, he nods in delight and everyone enjoy their food.

When everyone is done, they lick their fingers and Manik is shocked to see all of them like that but then he joins in too. After everyone goes to the Sardarji and asks him if the forest in this area is safe enough to camp as they are here for that only.

"Oh ji menu yeh to nahi pata ke jungle surakshit hai ya nahi, par haan maine suna hai ke jungle ke ek kone mein bohot saare saap aur doosre jaanver hai, lekin maine kabhi dekhe nahi hain!"

Everybody think they should move ahead in the forest and start camping. They thank the Sardarji and leave from the dhaba and start walking towards the forest.

When they have reached a suitable place for camping they all set up their tents and Nandini's tent is in between Manik and Varun. Near Varun is Cabir followed by Mukti and Navya in one tent together and Aliya's tent is near Dhruv's whose tent is right in the end.

After a while they all sit around the fire and say ghost stories to each other as it was Cabir's idea and he starts,

"Guys, pata hai before we come to the forest I did a bit of research on it and mujhe pata chala that this place is haunted by a ghost who controls the animals of this jungle and instructs them to do things with the visitors of this jungle, (Navya is super scared at this point and Cabir goes and sits near her to make her even more scared.) Aur Navyaji aap ko pata hain kya?"

"Kya?"

"Uss bhoot ko neele rang se nafrat hain, kyunke jab uska balidaan hua tha toh usne bhi neela dupatta pehna tha. Issiliye woh har koi jo neele kapre pehen ke aata hai iss forest woh uska bachna to..impossible!" And he turns around and laughs silently while Navya see's that she's wearing blue and freaks out. She says she'll go change and Mukti follows her. Cabir laughs out loud and give a high5 to Manik.

Navya enters the tent and Mukti follows her saying that Cabir was just making a fool out of her and it's nothing like that, Navya says,

"Nahi humne suna hai ke aise chise saach ho sakti hai issiliye main kapre badal leti hun!" She goes to change while Mukti says, that she is impossible and waits for her. As they come back Mukti playfully hits Cabir and says no more ghost stories. After a while they all get tired and leave to bed.

Nandini enters her tent and finds a note saying, 'meet me behind the tents in 10 mins ;)' She smiles and thinks the note is from Manik. She picks up her shawl and leaves.

Nandini goes behind the tents and finds a tree, hidden from the tents, to lean on and waits for Manik. She looks at her watch and thinks why Manik hasn't arrived yet. She begins to move forward and is about to slip but someone holds her hand and prevents her from slipping. She looks up and sees Manik. Their eyes meet and they're lost into each other and have a long, magical eyelock.

Manik breaks the silence, "Nandini, tum yahan? What are you doing and are you ok?" He checks her for any signs of injuries.

Nandini looks confused and says, "Yeah Manik I'm fine. Aur tumne hi toh mujhe yahan pe bulaya tha and you ask me what I'm doing here?" She shows him the note.

"Maine..?" He looks at the note, thinks a bit and then says, "Arrey haan yeah you're right! Maine hi tumhe bulayata yahaan pe, but then I forgot.." He scratches his head.

Nnandini says, "Accha toh batau why did you call me here, itni thandi hai..jaldi bolo!"

"Voh actually, Subah se I didn't get to talk to you properly..toh I thought abhi..." He entwines their hands and fingers and comes closer to her.

"Toh bolona Manik, what do you wanna talk about? Mujhe bohot thand lag rahi hai and...neend..bhi aarahi hai.." She yawns.

"Thand lag rahi hai?" He comes even more closer to her, their bodies touching and wraps his arms around her waist and then says, "Is this better?" Nandini smiles and then hugs him.

Some sounds come of rustling tree's and Nandini gets scared and holds tight onto Manik. Manik asks who it is and Cabir comes forward,

"Arrey tum dono kabhi pakde jao ge! woh toh accha that its only me warna.." He nods his head.

"Cabir, dude you scared us!"

"Manik abh main chalti houn, bye." She lets go off Manik realising that she's still holding onto him. "Bye Cabir." She waves and then leaves.

Manik starts talking to Cabir,

"We have to do something of this Varun!" He says in an angry tone.

"Kyun abh uss ne kya kiya?"

"Ussne kya kiya?...usnne...he sent a note to Nandini telling her to meet outside the tents! And Nandini? bechari usko laga it was me and she came, woh toh accha I saw someone going past my tent and came to see varna voh Varun toh pata nahi kya..."

"Arrey manik how do you know it was Varun? He's a nice guy."

"Nice guy? bas ek meeting pe hi tumhe pata chal gaya he's a nice guy?"

"Haan Manik, he thinks of Nandini only as his good friend aur kuch nahi.."

"Accha? Anyway chalo ab chalte hai, kal jaldi bhi utna hai." And they leave from there.

After they've left, someone from the bushes smirks and says, "Haan Manik...Cabir is right...Nandini is just a good friend..." and smiles.

The tree's were rustiling and the winds were howling, as the night went by. Manik was getting restless by the minute and frustrated on thinking what to do of Varun. He first thought that he should confront him but then what if he's wrong and Varun is actually a nice a guy. Then he thought that he should just let things be the way they are and just keep an eye on the lookout, but then thought what if something happens to Nandini and at that time he's not near her and she'll be in danger. He was thinking about this and that and finally after thinking too much he himself didn't know when he fell asleep.

In the morning, everybody was gathered around and planning their day ahead. Manik said they should explore the area a bit more and get to know the safe area's before moving ahead with the camping but Varun contradicted to him and said that since Alya knows the forest she can tell us about the places she has been to inside the forest and they should just carry on with the set plan of hiking. Everyone seemed to agree on both sides and Manik was annoyed that eventhough his idea was better and more safe, everybod else decided to go with Varun. They packed all their belongings and decided to go straight into the forest as there is supposedly a temple there which could help them in knowing the area better and they all set off.

They were all paired up; Cabir-Varun were leading, followed by Manik-Nandini, Mukti-Abhimanyu-Navya and Dhruv-Alya.

"Dhruv, do you ever feel insecure?" Alya asked.

"No...because I know that you have moved on from Manik and now you're only mine." He said.

"Yes Dhruv..I'm only yours and even I know that you have moved on from Nandini."

"Yes I have..lekin tum achanak se yeh sawal? All okay?" Dhruv worriedly asked.

"Woh actually, last night I had a dream that me and Manik are talking and you come and you punch him and say that you were all playing with me aur meri feelings ki toh kisi ko bhi parva nahi hai...toh after that I was just wondering..you know.."

"Haan Alya I'm over Nandini and now she is just a friend to me and I understand that eventhough you and Manik were very close you have now moved on as well. So don't worry.." He smiles and she smiles too and they carry on.

As Nandini is walking she trips over a tree trunk and falls down, twisting her leg in such a way that it makes her screech and scream loudly in pain. Manik immediately gets worried and bends down to attend to her,

"Nandini! Are you okay?" He checks her for any other injuries and see's that her leg has even started to bleed. "Damn it! Can you not take care of yourslef while walking? Dekho how much it's bleeding!" He has tears in his eyes and everyone is shellshocked on Maniks behaviour and his affection for Nandini. But everyone, leaving their shock aside for minute, attend to Nandini. Manik orders them all to get the first-aid kit from the bag and to get some water for her. They all listen to him and he does the dressing on Nandini's wound. She tries to stand but fails to and Manik picks her up in his arms and makes her lean against a tre trunk.

"Nandini are you gone blind? Tum dekh ke nahi chal sakti kya? Agar tumhe kuch hojata toh? What would I have done?!..."

"Manik calm down mujhe kuch nahi..."

"Kuch nahi hua? Seriously? Tumhe itni gehri chot ayi hai that you can barely walk and you tell me ke kuch nahi? Agar tumhe kuch hojata then I would've die..." He is about say I would've died if that happened but then he looks around and sees everyone looking at him bewildered. Manik is speechless and Nandini just looks down.

Mukti is the first one to speak up, "Okay so let me get this straight: Agar Nandini ko kuch hojata toh Manik would've died? And I wonder why that would be?"

Alya then says, "Haan, agar Nandini ko kuch hojata toh usme Manik ko kya hai? Why would he care?"

"Of course he would care na Alya, after all voh Nandini se...Nandini se..." Dhruv adds.

"Nandini se kya Dhruv?" Navya questions.

"Pyaar karta hai.." Abhimanyu intervenes.

Manik and Nandini are just standing there looking down and steal glances at each other.

"Cabir tu bhi kuch bol na.." Mukti says to Cabir.

"Mai kya bolu...I sort of already knew..." And everybody is super shocked at that too.

After a while of long silences and secret smiles and glances between everyone, except for Manik and Nandini who are just looking down and not uttering a word, everybody burts into laughter. Manik and Nandini are surprised and have questioning faces.

"Kya hua sab has kyu rahe hai? Cabir ne kya koi silent joke mara?" Manik asks them all.

"Nahi maine toh koi joke nahi mara.."

"To phir?" Manik looks confused and looks at all of them one-by-one.

"Actaully we all knew this from before Manik." Alya says.

"Haan jab antakshari ke bahane tum dono ankhon se signs karahe thena, tabhi se I guessed tum log ke beech mein kuch hai, and now its proved also, nahi?" Mukti adds in and everyone smiles and nod in agreement.

Manik looks at Nandini and then says, "Yeah...you guys are right...me and Nandini...actually you know she is my shining star and she was always there for me when I needed her and yes..I do love her.." He looks at Nandini and hugs her, she reciprocates and then says, "I love you too Manik." And everybody does a big AWHHH SHO SHWEEET!

Manik and Nandini break their hug as Varun comes and he looks at everyone faces and says, "Have I missed something guys?"

Cabir walks to him, puts a hand on his shoulder and says, "Nahi you have missed nothing, rasta age ka dekh liya na? Toh ab chale?"

Manik picks up Nandini in arms and Varun sees this and asks, "Nandu what happened sab theek hai?"

Nandini is about to answer but Manik interrupts and says, "Haan woh usse bas thodi si chot ayi hai and Nand-ini is fine, thank you for your concern." And he departs ahead, while everyone smile at Manik's protectiveness over Nandini and follow him.

Hey Guys! I've tried to be fast with this update. I might not be able to post for a bit since I have exams...Enjoy this part!!

Going deeper into the forest, they don't find any temple and there are no visible sign of a temple either. Everybody look at Alya,

"Guys, why are you looking at me? I only said that there is a temple in this forest, it was Varun who chose this path since he's the mapholder!" Everybody turn and face Varun this time,

"Guys, I didn't know which way to go and chose this path as it seemed safe kyunki doosre raste me ek cave tha, so I thought this would be safer..."

"Arrey agar uss raste mein cave tha that means there has to be some sort of life there no? aur you never know agar cave ke pass hi temple ho!" Cabir says in annoyance, "Aur toh aur, look at Nandini..she needs a resting place too, she has bled so much.."

"Haan Cabir, you're right," Varun says woriedly," Aur since she fell in a grassy area, you never know agar koi insect bite or anything...can't be sure so we need to get her checked.." As soon as Varun said 'insect bite' Manik got extremely worried and kept a very weak Nandini on the ground and checked her foot for any insect bites. Just as he was about sigh a relief, he saw a little side of her ankle which had a very little yet visible mark, he got concerend for her and tears filled his eyes...what if something happened to his Nandini?...he immediately cleared that thought from his head and wiped the tears from his eyes and spoke,

"Nandini has got bitten by an insect, guys we need to rush her to medical care!" Manik almost screamed out.

"Manik don't worry, everything will be fine, we'll find a way.." Cabir tried to comfort him and put a hand on his shoulder,

"What do you mean everything will be fine Cabir?!! My Nandini has been bitten by an insect...damn it! and you say everything will be fine!!" He buries his face into his hands and falls on his knees, holding his tears back...Nandini puts a hand on shoulder and says,

"Don't worry Manik...I'll be fine...Mujhe kuch nahi hua hai..."

"Kuch nahi? come on Nandini abhibi kuch nahi? You have been bitten by an insect and we don't even know which insect it was, whether you are poisoned or not, whether you're in dang..." He just couldn't complete his sentence and he tightly hugs Nandini...and she hugs him back..

After breaking the hug Manik says,

"Okay guys..listen up...we have to go different ways to find medical care immediately...Mukti-Navya-Abhimanyu you guys carry on ahead and if any news just inform us through the walkie-talkie...Alya-Dhruv you two go on that side of the forest, back towards the tents and try to find something or someone that could help...Cabir-Varun will be with me and Nandini and we'll go towards the cave...got it guys? And everybody will be informed of everything..okay?"

Everybody nod and head in the direction told to, Manik lifts a frail Nandini in his arms and heads into the other side of the forest followed by Cabir and Varun.

Mukti-Abhi-Navya go into the direction they are told to and find nothing and they decide to go to Dhruv and Alya, who are still searching as that side of the forest is quite big. However, they have to stop because Navya needs to take rest and she has walked too much without any stop. Mukti offers her some water and tells her to eat something but she refuses,

"Nahi Mukti, hum kaise kuch kha sakte hai? Humari dost ko itni gehri chot aayi hai...nahi hum kuch nahi kha sakte..hum bas paani.." And she takes the water bottle from Mukti,

"No Navya..listen..if you don't take care of yourself..tum bimar ho jaogi and Nandini...Nandini will be fine, don't worry about her...Manik haina uske saath...but you have to take care of yourself and plus hum forest mein hai aur if something happens to you phir kya karenge? You need to take care...ab chalo khao bhi..." And Mukti feeds her and she promptly obeys as she has no other choice.

Meanwhile, after losing their way like what seems a million times, Manik, Nandini, Cabir and Varun finally think their heading in the right direction as the tree's start to lessen. They come across a barn sort of area and Varun asks them if there is a medical care shelter somewhere nearby,

"Haan..aap yahan seedhe hi jate rahiya aur phir ek Mandir aayega aur uss ke peeche hi sainik prashikshana chal rahi hai, wahan hoga koi doctor.."

Varun nods and they move ahead and he stops again, "Guys, what is ' sainik prashikshana'?" Manik and Cabir look clueless,

"It means...like...military..training..." A weak Nandini speaks up,

"Nandini..How are you feeling?" Maniks worriedly yet gently asks her,

"I feel..very weak..and neend bhi aarahi hi.." She gets comfortable in his arms and he gets even more concerned..

"Nandini...Nandini listen don't close your eyes...listen..Nandini.." Manik says and they move ahead quickly to reach the medical centre as soon as possible as Nandini's condition is getting worse. Manik tries to talk to Nandini to avoid her from going to sleep and getting unconscious,

"Nandini.."

"Hmm.."

"Nandini listen to me..do not close your eyes...listen Nandini look we're almost here.."

"Hmm.."

"Nandini..look at me..keep your eyes open and look at me.." Nandini manages to keep her eyes open for a bit and looks at Manik with her weak eyes.

"Yes Nandini keep your eyes open..ad nothing will happen to you..we won't let anything happen to you.." Varun adds in and Manik looks angry but he concentrates on keeping Nandini in consciousness.

"Tum raste dhyaan do Varun..Manik is there with Nandini.." Cabir intervenes and him and Varun carry on ahead with Manik following behind.

"Come on Nandini...don't close your eyes...we're almost there...Nandini.." Manik tries his best but Nandini is too weak.

Manik thinks on what to do and he decides to sing so that Nandini can stay awake, he thinks of a song and then starts to sing...

"'Hmm hmm hmm hmm ...
Hmm hmm hmm mm ...

(Nandini opens her eyes a little bit)

"Nandini..carry on...you're doing great..just keep your eyes open.." Varun speaks up, which breaks the mesmerising eye-lock Manik and Nandini were having as he finished singing, Manik got angry but right now his priority was Nandini and not Varun..Iss Varun se toh baad mein niptu ga..he thought.

They come to the temple and Nandini, half conscious, pays her greetings to God and her Ayyaappa and she's about to loose consciousness again when Manik speaks up,

"Nandini look we're here...keep your eyes open..Nandini come on..your my shining star..keep your eyes open..Nandini.." And Nandini tries her best to stay awake.

Cabir and Varun enquire about where the medical facilities are and they are directed to a path behind the temple and they all take Nandini there. As soon as they reach, Manik shouts that they need urgent medical attention, a doctor comes to them and tells them to be quiet as there are other injured soldiers too,

"Listen doctor, Nandini needs urgent treatment and if anything happens to her then to hell with your patients and to hell with your medical centre!" Manik exclaims.

"We will try our best, bring her to the emergency cot.." The doctor says and tells his team to come quickly with the equipements. After a while the doctor comes back and says,

"We have checked her and she has been bit by a venomous scorpion and the poison has spread around the body and we have no time to lose.."

"So what are you waiting for doctor, just go and treat her.." Cabir says,

"Yes but for that we need a signature that if anything happens to her, since we have lost too much blood and the poison has spread all around, we are not responsible if the situation goes bad and..." Cabir is about to sign the document but Manik holds the doctors collar,

"Listen Mr.Doctor! Agar meri Nandini ko kuch ho gaya toh tujhe mein nahi choduga! So you better go and treat her and not make the situation go bad otherwise you will be facing the worst situation in your life! Get that?! Now go and bring back my Nandini!" Manik bursts at the doctor and he leaves immediatley to attend Nandini.

Manik is devastated as he see's an unconscious Nandini being mounted with oxygen masks and getting attatched to monitoring machines. He never thought he would see his Nandini in this situation. His shining star is currently fighting between life and death. His light is currently facing darkness all alone. He buries his face in his hands and slowly, tears flow through his eyes, bringing out all his pain. Cabir comes and sits next to Manik and puts a supporting hand on his shoulder,

"Don't worry Manik..it'll fine...I'll go and inform the rest.." Manik nods and Cabir goes. Manik's flow of tears continue.

Cabir goes outside and contacts the rest about the current situation and they say they'll come there.

Inside the tent, the doctors attend to Nandini and demands for blood packets and syringes are being passed around in order to save Nandini, who is lying in an unconscious state.

Varun is glaring at Manik and simultaneously looks at Nandini inside. He is apprehensive towards Nandini and had sympathy regarding Manik. In fact, he was sad...unsatisfied to see him in agony...to see his brother in an anguish..

PART 14...

ANNOUNCEMENT - PART 14 WILL BE IN 2 SECTION : 14A WILL CARRY ON THE CURRENT STORY AND 14B WILL BE A FLASHBACK SEQUENCE. QUESTION I WANTED TO ASK YOU GUYS - WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN NEXT, WILL NANDINI ALIVE? WHO IS VARUN? WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MANIK & VARUN? I WANT TO KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS..😆Guys I've decided to change the story a little bit...Varun will not be a negative character and I've also changed the ending to the last part...I did this because I didn't want to make this a sad or negative FF...so nothing bad is gonna happen now and Varun is a good guy...Another thing the update will be posted tomorrow 9/4/15 so stay tuned..

Manik is sitting, heart-wrenched and Cabir is waiting for the rest to arrive. Varun is walking to and fro, showing that he is concerned about Nandini and worried of what will happen next. MukBhiYa and DhruLya rush to ManBir,

"Humari Nandini kaisi hai..usse kya hua..voh theek toh hai na?" Navya was super worried about her best friend andshe had already created a heap of tissues in Mukti's bag.

"Madhubalaji aap rona bann kariye..it's not good for you to cry and that too so much in this condition...Nandini theek hojaygi.." Cabir said to her, worried that what if something happens to Navya then it will be double trouble to handle, but as soon as he finished talking, someone held him from the collar,

"What do you mean by 'theek hojaygi' huh? Meri Nandini theek hai, usse kuch nahi hua, did you hear that usse kuch nahi hua hai!? Meri Nandini ko kuch nahi hua hai...kuch nahi...she is fine...do you get that?" Manik was vexed and he took out all his pain and anger on Cabir, who understood Manik's feelings and stayed calm and said,

"Haan Manik I know, voh tumhari Nandini hai..she is fine.." Cabir tried to comfort him..and hugged him, the others joined into the hug and they all shared a group moment for a bit. They were interrupted by Varun,

"Guys, the doctor is calling us all.." And everyone ran towards the doctor and asked him about Nandini,

"How is she doctor, all okay?" Cabir asked.

"She has lost a lot, and I mean a lot, of blood and we need to transfuse more blood into her.."

"To phir what are you waiting for doctor?" Mukti asked.

"We need someone who will give blood to her...is there anyone to match the blood group B-ive ?" The doctor asks and looks at all of them hoping for a positive reply.

Everyone look at each other and Navya says,

"Humare B negative hai...lekin hum khoon nahi de sakte...hum pregnant hai.." and she starts crying again, saying that she cannot even do anything for her best friend, Cabir takes her away to handle the situation.

"Agar hume blood waqt pe nahi mila...toh Nandini won't be able to survi.." He couldn't complete his sentence as Manik held him from his collar,

"LISTEN YOU...NANDINI KO KUCH NAHI HOGA AUR USSE KUCH HUA BHI NAHI HAI!" He exclaims and shouts at the doctor but then Varun comes and stops him saying,

"Manik calm down...I will give blood to Nandini...My blood matches with hers and don't worry she will be fine.." He puts a hand on Manik's shoulder and then leaves to give blood. Manik is left there standing, Dhruv comes behind and puts a supporting hand on his shoulder.

Varun comes back after giving blood and Manik hugs him,

"Thanks bro for giving your blood.."

"No need to thank me...she's my friend also na..toh atleast I can do this for her.." And Varun smiles at Manik and then goes and sits down.

Manik looks at doctors trying their best to save Nandini. The doctor comes out and Manik looks at him with questioning expression,

"We have transfused the blood into her..but woh abh bhi behosh hai..and we do not know usseh hosh kab ayega.." The doctor says to Manik,

"Doctor can I go and meet her?" He asks the doc...the doctor looks at him and then nods in a yes and Manik rushes inside. The doctor informs Cabir as well, as the other's have gone to the temple.

Inside the tent, Manik's heart races as he cannot see his Nandini in this situation..fighting against life and death. Manik blames himself for Nandini's condition and thinks that if he would've not left Nandini to walk on her own then this wouldn't have happened. He moves towards her and looks at her; laying weak and unconscious, in a lot of pain and he touches her oxygen mask and can't believe that his Nandini who is so lively and cannot see anybody in pain is herself suffering right now...He was breaking down and a tear fell from his eye and dropped on Nandini's hand and she moves a finger, which doesn't go unnoticed by Manik and he calls the doctor.

Meanwhile, Navya-Mukti-Abhimanyu-Alya-Dhruv are at the temple praying for Nandini when they get Cabir's text that Varun gave blood to Nandini but she's still unconscious. Navya prays for Nandini and they all turn around to find Nyonika standing there, and their mouths are left opened in surprise,

"I heard that Nandini got hurt...and as soon as I found out I rushed here with my jet...How is she? I hope she's fine...I cannot let anything happen to one of my most precious students.." She worriedly says.

"Yes ma'am Nandini was given blood by Varun, since it was a match, although she is still unconscious...But how did you know about all of this?" Mukti said and questioningly looked at her,

"If you've forgotten then let me remind you that Varun, although may be your age or a year or two older, he is still my employee and I can enquire anything from him anytime...and when I called him he narrated to me the entire incident and as soon as I found out. I came here immediately and now what are you all looking at lets go to Nandini.." And after hearing her they all leave to go to the medical shelter.

Inside the tent, the doctor attends to Nandini and Manik is standing on the corner, with his arms crossed across his chest and is looking at his Nandini and he is completely broken to see her in this condition and still can't believe his eyes. The doctor comes to him and says,

"It is a very good sign that she is responding, she should be regaining consciousness in about 2-3 hours if everything goes good and when her anesthesia level lowers.." He smiles at Manik,

"Thank you so much doc! And I'm really sorry for my previous behaviour...I seriously apologise if you've felt bad but still thank you so much for doing this for me." Manik says to the doctor and the doctor smiles and leaves him alone with Nandini.

As soon as the doctor comes out of the tent, the others and Nyonika come and ask him about Nandini. He says to them that she's responding and she should regain conscious in a while. Everyone is glad and go to see Varun and Nyonika sighs a relief and goes inside the tent to find Manik sitting near Nandini and holding her hand,

"Nandini, come on my star, you've always shone for me and now you're staying in the dark yourself. Nandini you don't know what I'm going through right now seeing you in this state." A tear falls from his eyes again and Nyonika puts a hand on his shoulder. He looks at her and hugs her and sobs on her shoulders,

"Manik...my son...don't worry, nothing is going to happen to her...she will be fit and fine!" She assures him and he asks her howcomes she is here, she narrates to him everything.

Nandini moves her head a little bit and Manik immediately goes to her and holds her face in his hands and calls her name. She slowly opens her eyes and looks at Manik and smiles at him.

"Nandini how do you feel now? Are you okay?" Manik asks her worriedly.

She nods in a yes and he tightly hugs her and tells her that if next time she does this to him he will not bear it.

"Manik, don't worry I'm fine...main theek hoon.." She smiles at him.

Nyonika peeps at her from behind and says, "How are you feeling Nandini? As soon as I found out about you I decided to come here immediately and now that you've regained consciousness I am very much relieved." She smiles at Nandini. Manik goes outside to inform the rest about Nandini.

"Nyonika ma'am thank you so much for coming here and being so concerned for me, I appreciate it." Nandini weakly speaks to Nnyonik and she smiles in reply while the others come to her and all together hug her at once, squashing her to bits and she wails in pain and they release her and apologise,

"Oh, we're so sorry Nandini, we just got so overwhelmed to see you live we couldn't help ourselves.." Mukti explains and the others nod to it.

Varun stands at the back of the tent and says, "Arrey jisne khoon diya hai usse koi kuch keh raha hi nahi hai! yeh bhi koi baat hui?" And he walks towards Nandini and asks her how she is. She replies that she's fine and he's about to hug her but Manik pulls him back from the shoulders and says, "Listen bro, just because you gave her blood doesn't mean you can do anything alright?" And Varun nods at Manik and moves back. Nandini thanks Varun for giving her blood and saving her life.

"Right guys, now you all have to follow whatever I'm about to say because I cannot take any risks. Since Nandini, although awake, is still weak and I don't think she will be able to carry on with the trip anymore, so I have decided that all of you will be back immediately with me! Agreed?" Nyonika announced infront of everyone,

"No ma'am you don't need to ruin everyone else's trip just because of me. I am fine and just need a bit of rest...I'm okay." Nandini said but Manik intervenes,

"No Nandini, Nyonika is right. We will go back and anyway without you this trip will be no fun, right guys?" Everyone nod in agreement with him and they decide to get ready to leave. Nyonika goes to the doctor to get Nandini discharged. The doctor says that since she is still weak they need medical support for her and sends a nurse with her. Nyonika signs the documents and Nandini gets discharged. She has been provided with a wheelchair but she denies,

"No I cannot take this, someone else might need this more than me and I can manage on my own," She then gets down from her cot and tries to walk, she fails to and is about to fall but Manik catches her and then says, "Nandini I understand if you don't want the wheelchair, so that's why I will pick you up," Nandini doesn't get a chance to object as Manik lifts her up in his arms and proceeds to go. They follow Nyonika to the jet,

"Right so obviously Nandini is coming with me on the jet and if Nandini is there then ofcourse Manik is goona be there too," Nyonika speaks and Manik and Nandini blush a little, "So either all of you can come along or you can come with the things left behind?" She questions them all,

"I think it'll be better if we all go together, this way even Nandini can enjoy on the way back and not feel like a bimar bachi, right Nandu?" Mukti says and everyone agree with her.

They all get onto the jet and leave to go back. Nyonika sits right at the front, Manik sits with Nandini right at the back with the whole space to themselves as Nandini has a bed to rest on. Mukti-Abhi-Navya sit behind Nyonika and Dhruv and Alya sit on the same line but near the window of the other side. Cabir and Varun sit behind them.

14B - Flashback Sequence..

It was a fine sunny morning and in Malhotra Mansion, the whole family was gathered in the back garden for the big Sunday Breakfast. Abhijeet Malhotra - Business Tycoon and owner of the Malhotra Industries - called out for his wife, "Nyo, where are you? Bring the boys along I'm hungry!"

Two boys, one the age of 9 and the other was just 4, ran towards their dad and hugged him,

"Goodmorning boys! Come come, sit and where is your mother?"

"I'm here Jeet," A lady came out from the house wearing a shiny white salwar kameez, she was looking like an angel.

"Finally tum agayi! Mujhe bohot bhook lagi hai yaar! Kidhar thi abtak!!" And they all start with breakfast. The two boys sat beside each parent, Varun - the older one - sat with his dad and Manik - the cute little baby sat near his mother.

"Woh actually na, Seema called to invite us at her 10th marriage anniversary party tonight," Nyonika said,

"Oh acha toh I guess we're gonna go right after all she's your best friend,"

"Yes we are going to go, but I'm thinking about the kids, what are gonna do of them?" Nyonika worriedly asked.

"Maa, why wont you take us along? and waise bhi after last night I don't want to stay under the same roof with this Manik, he annoys me so much!" Varun spoke, "Aapko pata hai, yesterday night I was reading my comic and he came and spilled all of hil milk on me and ruined by comic book also!" And he angrily looked at Manik,

"Nahi Maa, usne mujhe push kiya thats why it got spilled and then I also said sorry to him." Manik made an angry pout to Varun and then cutely said, "Sorry Bhai." He held his ears and said it so sweetly it melted everyones heart, Nyonika did an 'aww so cute' reaction and Varun hugged his brother, "You know na Manik whenever you do that face I can't stay angry at you for long."

"Okay chalo ab bohot emotional hogaye sab and lets start some eating?" Abhijeet said and they all start eating.

After they finished with breakfast, "Okay boys chalo we have to get ready for the party, Varun you finish your homework and Manik tum apne tablet ke saath khelo and then we'll get ready." Nyonika said and they all went to do their respective works.

The Malhotra's, infront of everyone else's eyes, were the perfect family! But there were some things which only a few knew, Nyonika and Abhijeet, although had a love marriage, their love was not visible since a few months. Abhijeet had started to spend more of his time in his office and shared less things with Nyonika, still they were together and that's what mattered for Nyonika.

Varun was in his room doing his homework and he heard Manik enter with his hands behind his back. Manik came closer to Varun's study table and handed him over a bag. Varun was confused and he opened the bag to find a comic book inside. He took it out and it turned out to be the comic book which was ruined yesterday by Manik. The comic book, although felt crisp, was dry enough to read. Varun smiled at Manik and hugged him.

"Manik tumhe yeh karne ki zaroorat nahi thi,"

"Lekin bhai, I couldn't see you sad and I'm sorry for dripping the doodh on it."

Varun smiled, "It's not dripping but spilling, little bro." And he ruffled Manik's hair and they shared a brotherly moment.

The rest of the afternoon was just Abhijeet passing around business order through the phone, Nyonika was busy getting ready and the boys were playing with their cars. Nyonika then called everyone to get ready.

At sharp 7pm the Malhotra family exited their house and entered into their awaiting BMW, and left for the party. Abhijeet was wearing a white tuxedo and Nyonika wore a pink gown. They boys each complimented their parent, Varun wore a white suit and Manik wore a pink one. Varun was more attached to his dad and Manik was closer to his mother.

The party was attented by well known faces in the county. The Malhotra's entered the mansion and were welcomed by Seema and her husband, Abhishek Parmar. The boys went with the children of Mr&Mrs Parmar to their rooms and started playing, leaving the adults at peace.

"So Seema...10 years huh?" Nyonika said

"Yes and very sweet 10 years indeed." Abhishek replied on the behalf on his wife and held her tightly across the shoulders, Abhijeet saw this and wasn't pleased.

Abhijeet and Seema were left alone after Nyonika and Abhishek left to see other friends.

"Celebrating 10 years of togetherness and all huh?" Abhijeet taunted Seema,

"Listen I've told you before, when I have time I will ask my husband for a divorce but now please don't create a scene."

"Me? Creating a scene? I was controllling myself when that Abhishek touched you! I felt like smashing his face right there!" Abhijeet spoke showing his anger.

"Oh and I was feeling so good when that Nyonika had her arms around you." She spoke back showing her disgust.

Abhijeet took her to a corner and wrapped his arms around hers, "Promise me that today, in this party you will leave your husband and come to me. If you do then I will leave my wife too! And then we'll be happy ever after." Hearing this Seema nodded in a yes and smiled hugging him.

Abhijeet and Seema had met about a year ago, when Nyonika wanted to open her fashion line. Seema was one of the top designers and Abhijeet had heard of her and decided to approach her for his wife's fashion line. They had gotten quite fond of each other and they often met as part of creating Nyonika's fashion line. As they started to spend time together, they started getting to know each other better and found out they have many things in common. Soon they fell for each and started having an affair, unknown to their respective partners.

The party was on full swing and Abhishek and Seema made it to the stage and took hold of the microphone,

"Hello everyone, Can we have your attention please. Today you have all been invited here to celebrate the 10 years anniversary of me and beloved wife, Seema. These 10 years have been great for me. My wife has been with me on every stage of life and supported me in whatever decision I took, right or wrong. Well that is all I have to say.." He finished and handed over the mic to Seema,

"I appreciate all of what my husband said for me, but unfortunately I don't have the same thing to say," Everybody gasped as they heard this come out from Seema's mouth, "I'm sorry Abhishek, you have been a great support for me in these ten years we've been together, but I'm very sorry to tell you that I just don't feel that spark in our relationship anymore not because you have done something wrong, but because I've fallen for someone else," Abhishek was shocked at what he was hearingfrom his wife. He was dumbfounded. "Nyonika, my best friend, you have been with me for the past year now and I'm very happy to have met a person like you in my life who cares about not themeselves but about their surroundings. Your a person whom everyone should have in their life. You are a keeper forever Nyo. But I'm afraid that after hearing what I'm about to say, you might hate me, might want to slap me but it just is the truth," Nyonika was confused at Seema's words and she went on the stage, Abhijeet followed her.

"Seema? What are you saying?" Nyonika asked her.

"I'm sorry Abhishek and Nyonika, but the truth is that...I've fallen for Abhijeet." Seema looked at Abhijeet as she spoke. As soon as these words escaped Seema's mouth Abhishek was broken. Nyonika was fuming with anger as she heard this and she was about to slap Seema for what she said but Abhijeet stopped her and this shocked her even more.

"Abhijeet, why did you stop me? Did you even hear what she said?" Nyonika shouted at her husband in anger.

"Yes, I heard what she said and I'm very sorry to tell you but...I feel the same towards her." Nyonika had tears in her eyes when she heard this come from her husbands mouth.

"Abhijeet...I'm never going to forgive you for this!" Nyonika said this and she went to get her children and stormed out from the party.

Abhijeet followed her to the car and she left without listening to a word he has to say. They all came home and Varun and Manik were sent to their room.

"Abhijeet...what was wrong in me that you did this huh? Did I ever do anything to displease you? Did I ever object to anything you said? No right? Then why? Why did you do this to me?" Tears escaped Nyonika's eyes as she spoke.

"Nothing is wrong with you but when I met Seema I just felt that me and you are just not meant to be. Yes we had a love marriage but now I just don't see that 'love' anyhwere. Its as if that love has disappeared. When I met Seema I felt that spark which was missing in our relationship. That spark is the reason...not you Nyonika."

"No..I'm not able to handle all this Abhijeet...I..I'm leaving. We will file for a divorce and get separated for good but I cannot handle being in the same house as you. You despise me now. I..I'm leaving this place also.." She cried

"You don't need to leave and nor do you need to file a divorce," Abhijeet said, Nyonika looked confused. "I've already filed for the divorce, the papers have arrived and just the signatures are needed. It is also decided that Varun is going to stay with me and Manik with you. Me and Varun will shift to the US with Seema and you and Manik can stay here if you like." Abhijeet didn't look into Nyonika's eyes as he spoke all this. Nyonika broke down even more and locked herself in her room and cried to herself.

The next morning, Nyonika woke up and wished that all what happened last night was merely a nightmare an not real. However, she was disappointed as she came to the living room and saw her husband standing with Varun and a lawyer who had the papers.

"Maa, we're going to the US!!" Varun cried in excitement.

"Ma'am you have to sign here." The lawyer approached Nyonika with the papers. She signed with hatred, pain and anger in her eyes.

"Maa, aap aur Manik are not coming?" Varun questioned.

Nyonika bent down to him and softly said, "Nahi beta. Only you and your papa will go." She kissed his forehead with tears in his eyes and hugged him as tight as she could. She finally let go and saw as her hus..no ex-husband and son left the dehleez of the mansion which was now belonged to her, all by herself. She thought how she would take care of the house, the business and her little son she had to look after. Tears welled up in her eyes and she sat there, face buried in her hands and cried. She felt a hand on her shoulders and for a second thought her husband had changed his mind and came back for her, but it wasn't Abhijeet, it was Manik,

"Kya hua maa? Bhai and Papa kahan hai gaye?" The little child spoke.

"Woh chalengaye beta...woh chalengaye...Now its only me and you..just us now" And she hugged her child as if to never let go of him.
