Manik's change is very obvious, very in your face cause he was always an extreme case. While Nandini's is very subtle and very nuanced. They both are evolving in this relationship, growing together, learning to adapt according to the other's needs. Manik is calming down, while Nandini is learning to be assertive. They both are very headstrong individuals and are now learning to heed and listen to the other, respect the other's opinion.

Agree...Manik's hange was visible for me...but somewhere i cudn't Nandini's change but thanks to u

Word.

I hardly ever am at a loss for words. But as I watched that beautiful scene unfold, my throat was clogged. The way he handles her, comforts her but more importantly the way he handled himself, that was the power of love.

I'm still chuffed that they used MY SONG (I had just told my sister like half an hour before the epi aired that this song is so beautiful and it fits so well with MaNan and guess what??! They used it. Haye. Saari khwahishein aisi hi poori ho jaati to kya hota? )

Awesome post..lovely writing.
Yes, you are correct, words are sometimes not enough for the things that heart feel.

MaNan - Manik Nandini, the feelings that they have for each other just can't be expressed in words..its their beautiful small deeds and actions that speak louder than words.
Their passion, anger, hatred, tenderness, kindness, possessiveness, jealousy, stubbornness, attitude and what not..its their intense and true love that is making them do this.

They define love in true sense..accepting the other person as they are, talking learning and as you wrote learning what not to say as well.

We might have seen so many love stories on and off air...but the growth Manik Nandini have shown is tremendous.
And when the feel is somewhat here and there...writing like yours give them a more beautiful meaning. Kudos

It was such a feeling..on one hand I found it simply un
describable and trying to put words felt like sacrilege but on the other hand it was so gorgeous that I had to ..had to talk about it 😛
Manik...this guy will have all girls falling head over heels in love with him..be it 10 or 100..he has grown so beautifully in love.
And the song incident just proves that you have a special connect with the show. And agar aise hi khwahishein poori ho jaati toh khuda ko poochhta kaun !!

thank you 😳 and that's what I find appealing in this love story. It is in depth, it deals with real issues like you have to learn to adapt with your partner, falling in love is not the be all and end all. Every relationship needs work and efforts, and love the way they have portrayed the growth and progress in this one. It is so close to real life, where falling in love is just the tip of the iceberg.

" I hope I'm wrong "
Manik doesnt want her idealistic world to fall apart. Her beliefs, her positivity. He has learnt to put aside all his ego n pride for her. Who better than him to understand the harsh realities of life. He makes her understand how this world is not just a bed of roses and how cruel people can be. How her love has made him so patient and compassionate.

Nandini disappointed and dejected at her failure. But her pillar of strength making her understand that all is not lost. Since their first break when Nandini was nervous about their performance for the pre-musicana event, Manik has always tried to reignite the fire within her and the urge to never give up.

As u so beautifully put it " He is learning to let go and she is learning to hold on "

Thanks to the CVs for leaving us with this heartwarming picture, for us to sail thru this Manan-less weekend.

And also have to mention Parth n Niti here. They have elevated this show to another level altogether with their brilliant portrayal of Manan and how they get all the character nuances so perfectly every single time 👏

Eveline,
Always love the way you express. Another wonderful post.
I really enjoyed this just as much as I enjoyed the episode.

If water scene was a an example of underlying passion, underlying need Manik and Nandini has for each other, the last scene had the other side of Love. Love which is all tender, strength, calm and peace.

I just love the way Nandini and Manik has journeyed together.

It is not just Manik who has changed, evolved. It is Nandini too, for Manik brings out her strength, her passion, he frees her to be herself.

I am going back and watching the episode again.

Love

I started reading with all smiles😃 re-watching the scenes in your post & towards the end I was almost teary eyed :')
You know one of the best things about MaNan that I always believed is that they are not adults yet.. & they are growing up together.. learning from each other.. despite not being the childhood friends..they are as comfortable with each other & their feelings run deep! Their trust in each other.. their possessiveness for each other.. At this young age they've found love..so passionate, so pure & this companionship that is going to last a lifetime.. It amazes me how these two have found each other❤️ Their Perfect half! Just see how far they have come since Day 1.

Evie..I've been kinda silent because there are simply fabulous writers around & there is so much to read which I don't even get time to complete.. but I try as much as possible😆

Eveline wrote: He did not say it right the first time, and she did not bother to hear him right either. But does that really matter?? Mistakes are a part of life, and they are learning to deal with them, together. He wanted to protect her from the world and she wanted to make her own mistakes. He is learning to let go and she is learning to hold on. Manik is learning to curb and control, be it his temper or his ego and she is learning to sail free, Manik being the wind in her sails. Manik does not want her disillusioned and Nandini does not want him disturbed. For the first time ever, they are ready to accept defeat, just so they can see the other win. What a heart warming picture they make, sitting on the steps they are gradually learning to climb, hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder!!***********************
That said it all dear!!! 👏👏
It's not like "See, I told you so".. That's the worst thing one can say to someone who is already down thus pushing him/her further down!!!
It's full of care and love that brought out this tenderness and they have us there!!! And yes you have me here too with your beautifully put through words, jotting down the emotions...
