MaNan - Dhruv- Cabir OS: Mission MaNan Stage one: completed!
Cabir was sitting lavishly on the sofa enjoying his bottle of champagne. He knew very well why Manik particulary drenched Nandini. He was smiling smugly to himself when Mukthi asked "yeh manik aur Nandini kahan reh gaya?" itne der kyo laga raha hain?"
Oops! Yeh Mukthi ko kabab mein haddi banne ki bimari hain kya? Cabir tum eisa hone nahin nahin de saktha !!... " Mukthi..Mukthi..Mukthi! arre voh bechari pehli bar shayad champagn dekhi hain..thoda vakth usse baksh de meri maa!"
" Cabir tu bhool ja ki maine kuch kahan hain" she shook head giving up and walked away to find Aliya. Dhruv was standing in the balcony staring at nothing in particular. Devdas Dhruv!En dodon ko sirf Nandini hi mila hain kya pyar karne keliye! Shit!
Just then Nandini came fuming down the stairs. Uh ho lagtha hain Manik ki band baja ke aayi hain. She didn't see Cabir sitting in the couch. She was so engrossed in muttering to herself.
"Yeh Manik samajhte kyoun nahin... I don't want to see his face again..but voh yeh sab harkaten kyo kar rahe hain? Why is he doing this? Voh chahta hain ki main uski apology accept karun aur..aur kya? Bas hogaya? Aiyyappa! Mujhe hi nahin pata ki main usse kya chahthi hoon? He has broken me up badly phir bhi mein uski taraf khinchi chali jaathi hoon...mann kartha hain ki usse bahot bahot dur jaun but I can't stand even a day without hearing his voice! And all he needs is me to accept his apology..uske baad shayad voh khushi khushi mujhe Dhruv ko hand over kar dega..Ek baar sirf ek bar agar voh ketha ki...ki...ki kya nandu?get a grip on yourselves" She closed her eyes ...a lone tear trailed down her cheeks... She walked to the balcony as if in a trance.
Hmmm...someone is confused..and hurt... and in love! Manik ko thoda gyan dena padega! Manik came down the stairs after a few minutes his eyes searching for a particular someone. Lo aagaya Mahaan baba!
" Manik... zara idhar aao mere lal...mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hain...abe! idhar udhar kya dekh rahe ho ..voh bahar balcony mein hain"
" Achaa.. I mean .. kaun bahar ...balcony mein.. hain?"
" Ab bas bhi kar yaar! Bohot hogaya!..ab bataa chakkar kya chal raha hain?"
"koi chakkar nahin...bas ..aise hee"
"Abe tu bata raha hain ya mein seedhe jaake Nandini se puchoon?" cabir aked with a devilish smile..
"main tumhe jaane duon tab na..he said and pinned him to the couch."
"Manik... I'm serous here bro..jab mujhe kisi ki zaroorat tha toh you were there for me na...we are family bro..just let me be a friend pls..."
Manik was quiet for sometime. Cabir patience..patience..sabhar ka phal meeta hota hain...
" Hmm what do you want to know?" Manik asked finally
"Tera luv story..."
Manik gave him an apprehensive look and began his story. By the time he finished telling him Cabir was literally banging his head on the wall...
"And now you want her to accept your apology?"
"Haan. Cabir ek baar voh maan jaaye ..then I'll make everything right. I mean I know that she doesn't have any feelings for Dhruv. So.."
"So what? Tum confess kardega ki you love her?"
"Love?...Main..voh..pyaar..."
"Shit! Manik don't you dare tell me that after everthing you've told me..ki yeh pyaar nahin hain waala bullshit! pls!"
"Manik!" Mukthi called out just then. Mujhe drop kar de yaar! Vaise bhi bohot late hogaya hain. I've to go to the rehab tomorrow"
"haan.. I'm coming!"... "bro we'll talk ...later.."
"Fine!" Cabir said waise bhi I need to process everything you've told me. Itna sab kuch hogaya aur mujhe ab pata chal raha hain..Damn!
Cabir saw that Manik who was walking by the balcony get frozen on the spot. His expression shocked and his hand foldind into fist. Arre ab issne bhoot dekh liya hain kya? Cabir followed him to the balcony. He saw Nandini resting her head on Dhruv's shoulder ..Shit! ab yeh kya hain?
Without another word Manik walked away furious and hurt..isse bhi ab yahin dekhna tha! Uff! Abh yahan kya ho rahan hain? Cabir hid himself behind the curtain..Ache kaam ke liye dhoda bahut eavesdropping karne se kisi ka kuch nahin bigadtha. Vaise bhi en logon ne koi option he nahin choda...
Nandini leaned away fom Dhruv and said "Dhruv thank u so much for your support. Tum bahut ache ho...I'm very lucky to have a friend like you..Jab bhi mujhe kisi ki zaroorat thi toh you were always there for me. I'm sorry if I hurt you but I can never keep you happy..you deserve so much more Dhruv"
"Nandini..it's ok..i understand. Friends isiliye hi toh hote hain!" Dhruv said.
" Acha..i'll get going then"
"I'll drop you.come"
Cabir...chal time for action.. " Dhruv ! tum yahan hain..maine tumha kahan nahin dhoonda! Chal I need to talk to u"
"Haan Cabir ..main nandini ko droop karke aata hoon"..
"Aree ..voh driver haina. He'll drop her..tu kyou stress le raha hain?"
"But.."
"it's ok Dhruv..you guys need to talk. Driver will drop me. I'll be fine. You guys cary on. Bye Cabir"
"Bye Nandini" Just then his phone began to ring. Excellent !timer bhi kamal ka hain...He kept one eye on Nandini and answered ..
"Hello..Manik haan..Kya hua? Tumhara haath... haath ko kya? I can't hear you ...Hello.. hello"
Just as he expected ...Nandini eyes widened ..worry evident on her face.
Aaj toh mein yeh saari confusion clear karke hi rahunga! Bahot ho gaya yeh drama ab aur nahin!
" Cabir..Manik ko kya hua ? is he ok? Where is he? Kahan chala gaya? Uske..uske haath thik hain na? chot kuch zyada toh nahin ho gaya?" She asked all at once.
Cabir successfully hid his smirk and pasted an ever so innocent look on his face. "Pata Nahin Nandini..he went to drop Mukthi..shayad raaste mein kuch... I mean ..hmm I'll call him ...Shit! Mera battery dead hain. Damn!"
"I'll call him.."she said and began fumbling with her phone. Arre she seems really worried. Dhruv bete tum dekh rehe ho na ki papa kya dikha raha hain..Cabir noticed with great satisfaction that Dhruv was indeed observing her. He could almost hear the wheels turning in his head.
" Yeh phone kyou nahin uda raha hain...manik pick up the phone...He is not picking up..Dhruv tumhara phone do na pls..voh main ..." Dhruv gave her his phone before she could find out a valid excuse...Cabir was now watching the entire scene smugly...Gud boy Dhruv..you are picking upon the baits very well. Well done ma boy!
"Hello..Hello Manik..tum theek ho na? are you all right? Tumhara haath kaisa hain? Why didn't u pick up my call? Tumhare haath mein chot hain toh tum drive kyou kar rahe ho..Manik kuch bolo!"
After a few seconds she snapped back into reality.. "ok fine..Tumhe jo karna hain karo. Mujthe koi farak nahin padhtha.i'm done" she cut the phone...
Cabir ...nahin don't laugh..control control!
"Woh... he is fine..hmm..i'll ..i'll just leave" She gave the phone back to Dhruv and literally escaped from the scene cheeks flushed..
Dhruv just stared after her for a few minutes and asked
" Cabir... do you think Manik aur..Nandini ke beech kuch chal raha hain?
Oh yeah! Cabir gave himself a mental high five! Cabir you are the boss! Ab dekho ki kya hone waala hain...Ab hoga dhood ka doodh aur pani ka pani! Yo Cabir...!!! Mission MaNan stage one : COMPLETED!
