This is the question which has been on the minds of few and specially needed for her to understand what is it about Manik that makes her feel all these emotions . Also perhaps when time comes she can answer Manik and tell him why it was always him for her.

Dhruv has been her friend , so it's natural that when she is surrounded by nobody she feels like letting go and be all vulnerable and he is the safe place too for her. There is nothing wrong till here.

But what messes it for me and probably where Nandu errs is that she takes Dhruv's feelings for granted. She is dictating their friendship and expects him to let all he felt go. Which is sort of unfair to Dhruv- especially when she busted his bubble not an hour before. So yeah , as far as sensitivity is concerned it sucks.

But here I will like Dhruv and Nandu to notice this and realize that perhaps space is needed for them too. Dhruv needs to say that although he is her friend but right now he might not be the right person for her to understand her turmoil. Nandu should realize that it's not easy to yo-yo back to status quo.

I hate when people related this to character assassination. No dearies, it's not, weak moment, wrong judgement and just the emotional turmoil is messing them all. She has categorically defined her lines with Dhruv , reading anything beyond will be his fault.

Phew, I just wanted Nandu to reflect on Dhruv too , i guess, the guy did put himself out . Her indifference to his heart-break is what makes me feel that it needs to be brought out too.

Hmmm...the most sensible post till now...you are right...they should concentrate on Dhruv's feelings for now...it has always been about Manik-Nandini so far...but what about Dhruv?

I wait for your, Adhi's and Doc's comment in all of my posts...you guys can dissect my own post so much better than I can dissect a scene or an episode. 😆

You are spot on about all of them- yep! Nandu errs and that's what keeps her human. She doesn't get the chance to sit and sort out her head when her Monster starts to overwhelm her like nobody's business- reason why I'm trying to see things from her POV.

Weak moment, wrong judgement- just the precise words. I don't believe that Nandu's someone who'll deliberately play around with someone's feeling, least of all Dhruv!

Baba needs to open up to Cabir.. Tell him what all happened between them... Their unsaid confession.. their kiss.. then only Cabir will understand the full intensity of their love.. then only he can grill some logic into baba head...

True that.
Ya i was going all mad at Nandini for some 10 minutes after that i kind of got her point. Anyway, My problem is only with editing and random MaNan scenes these days. What in the world was that lamp scene all about..?

I don't see what is so un-relatable , we all at times take our friends for granted , she is doing the same. She is friends with Dhruv and can hug. Manik consoled Alya yesterday, side-hugged her, even though she could have taken it in a different angle considering their history. So why cannot Nandini seek comfort in her friend. When I say err is for that moment, not her finding comfort in Dhruv.

I agree with you...so far from what we see Nandini doing in the precap...it just looks so unlike her...her character...I don't idolise her...she is human only...I know that...but she is also sensible...but the gesture she is showing towards Dhruv is just so misleading...I can't digest that...

She wasn't questioning her feelings -- she was just simply wondering how it happened that she fell for the boy who was trouble and why she didn't love the guy who was simple and straight forward and just simply told her 'I LOVE YOU NANDINI'

While baba keeps goig on and on about sorry, you know, I know -- ARRRE Just Tell her if you know and if she knows too .. Instead of forcing her to accept your apology as if it is a thing you can just give her.

It is all because she has no friend -- everyone has a friend.

She keeps on holding to this one person who has told her that they are friends.

Why can't she be selfish and thing about HERSELF for a change?

Why is that only she read between the lines, she looks at dhruv and sees that he is not fine -- why is that only she has to be truthful and right all the time and ask Dhruv, if he is fine, if he is good even tohugh she said no -- if they are still friends after that? Can they be friends?

If Dhruv is so uncomfortable being her friend after she said No! Then he needs to be truthful too, like her and tel her that he needs space from her.

Nandiin, if she knew that Dhruv is confused, isn't comfortable, is still so hurt over it -- She would have given him the space he wants happily. Because she worries about them all. She might feel hurt but it doesnt mean that she won't back out.

And she is not the only girl, in fact so many girls, everyday think the same thing -- Why not the simple guy who had no complications for her -- why couldn't she just love him? -- Why the one who makes her go crazy?

When people need her to be strong, when people need her in their hour of need -- She pushes back everything -- all her hurt, her pain, her mistrust, her anger -- and just stays there for the people who need her. It has always been like that.

Dhruv can deal with this -- He has called her a friend na? Either man up and tell her that he is not comfortable being her friend right now, they should take a break or be their for her even when she is not saying anything because she needs a friend --- if he can't be her friend right now then he should just tell her.

That girl we go home and cry in her pillow. She won't ask for anyones support.

Oh...wowww!! 👏 👏

The thing that struck me the most in the comment was you writing 'Selfish'. 😆

I mean, Nandini and selfish don't go hand-in-hand when it comes to the character in the show or when it comes to audience's expectation. God helps her if the person at the receiving end of her 'Selfishness' is Dhruv or Manik by any chance!

We all keep saying how Nandini is the best-written character Telly have ever seen, but let her waver from audience's expectation for a teeny-weeny bit and watch the same people go all out on the whole team!

Not that I blame them completely. We have been fed on a diet of 'perfection' since time immortal when it comes to female leads, so subconsciously, we all expect Nandini to be on the same level.

And yes, Dhruv should- for once- push her away, break her trance and make her realize that what she's doing is wrong. Its equal to leading him on.

Well said Shelly!
I feel that Nandini's reactions are very natural. Though she cannot stop loving or caring for Manik...she definitely is unable to trust him again so quickly. That is understandable because the mode of breakup chosen by Manik was cruel and harsh...coming so soon right after their acknowledgement of love for each other.

Nandini will try to go along a path what she assumes to be a more peaceful and without upheavals and find that it is not possible.

Nandini and Manik will struggle with events and feelings apart from each other and in the process come to the realization of the importance or otherwise in of being or not being a part of each other's life.

The struggle of dealing with the lows and highs of falling for each other is in the cards for Nandini and Manik.
