The thing is Alya for whatever reasons won't have picked fab5 over her brother , if he wasn't so screwed up, especially when they both lost their parents.

Manik is very precious. Looking at the way he is, always up and alert, protecting his friends, maintaining that tough guy facade, a monster, every night he might have crumbled down, in his room, where no one is watching, no one is calling out to him, he might fall apart every night, might talk to those stars. Vent out his anger, his sorrows, and next morning, wake up, note to self "come on Manik, you can do this" and carry on with the facade.

He needed someone who could see through this facade, and that' when he got Nandini, the only person who could see his hidden side, his vulnerabilities. His sorrows, his fears. She will help him in fighting those demons.

I wonder what if Nandini never came? How long would he carry on with this facade? Makes my heart cry with just the thought.

Dee. Can't even right now bae. That's what gets to me. That he's had no one to put him in top priority. A small child with no one to care for him. </3

I remember in the initial episode..when Aliya says she loves her mouse...Manik gets hyped up even for such an innocent statement. So much damage. So much insecurity.

No wonder he counts down minutes and hours away from Nandini.

This is correct. We havent seen the dad only heard of him. I guess Noyonika got custody of Manik and Manik probably resents that his dad did not fight for him. But Noyonika does have him some hold over Manik which is scary. Is Noyonika going to blame Nandu for Manik's hands and that they might lose the contract?
