That was beautiful Mais. I read it first thing in the morning. It's very difficult to praise your writings, coz they transfer me to a totally different place, jahan se wapas aane ka mann nahi karta.

While reading this OS my mind was painting it's own picture, and I just didn't feel like stopping. Beautiful is an understatement.

I honestly can not find anything praise worthy in my writing. I have this utter lack of confidence in my work for the most part. So reading comments like these just make me go all O.O and at a terrible loss of what to reply..so yeah, just..thank you 😳

I am in lou with this piece. Its something that I will bookmark and read again and again. I like tragedies that are written well. And this tou was beautiful in every way. I had goosebumps while reading, no kidding. :3
I love how even though it was AU, MaNan was still there, so so there. Nandu lost in his gaze, being marked by him. He died while looking at the eyes that gave a meaning to his life. She died having achieved and lost the person that gave her life,solace. The flow , the words, everything was asdfghjkl! ❤️

if i want to hug and scream angrily at you at the same time,it means you've made me feel all the emotions you tried to show in this beautiful,gut wrenching OS.i don't like tragedy.but can't help but admire(if not love)something poetic like this.

Maybe it's because this is not a tragedy? 😆 Death is not an automatic tragedy, what's tragedy is that death comes before things which are to be done are left incomplete. Death is like that complete full stop, the end. Nothing will happen after that. But here, death came after life was lived. Her death at 20 is the same as someone dying at 86, comfortable in a soft bed with a loving family all around. It's all about living a worthwhile life. She lived her entire life in the moments with him than many people do in years.

i was watching the making of lootera yesterday.and i kept remembering this beautiful piece.don't know about you but i loved lootera,one of my favorites.
Yeah i get your point.she lived a full life.she was happy.she got her love.in 20 years she lived a full life.zindagi kam ho par achchhi ho,pura ho.wohi toh nahi milta.
Want to say so much more but i can't write/speak as beautifully as you can and i m getting emotional.

I've heard many praises for Lootera but never watched the movie. Very rarely do I get in the mood to watch movies like Lootera.

Exactly as you said, life should be lived till it's worth living for. I am not promoting suicide here but just that..there should always be a purpose in life, no matter how small. One should keep finding purposes so that life can become something worth looking forward to. Sometimes people go through something to which nothing else can ever compare, which was the case that happened to her in the piece. Hence, the end.
