I think its also the fact that we know Nandu is like a second away from like literally breaking down and here this guy is like a 5 year old denied a toy.

Whatever it is, they need to do something with Dhruv's character, its getting to a point of no return, almost like Navya.

Most likely the latter, sadly. Honestly, Alya and Cabir showed better expressions while taking in the news. I think for me personally, I cannot connect to him perhaps because of the execution like if I see the character outside the box, it makes sense, but on screen it never delivers.

That makes us dislike Dhruv and Manik more. I feel Cabir was kinda amused/annoyed that to pursue his love Dhruv had to be prodded so much. I feel I would have bought his crush if the word love wasn't thrown around. It makes it all superficial and dilutes whatever he feels for her.

I so agree with you.

Given its his first show + its already been 3 months Dhruv never leaves an impact on me.

His dialogues are so bland, emotionless ..

Never makes me feel a thing..

He has the poorest dialogue delivery and English.

He really needs to brush his skills.

Either the acting is not upto the mark or the writers are deliberately making Dhruv look like a delusional bimbo. Coz the proposal was abrupt, alright his timing has never been perfect, given, but his expressions, you hang your head down like you just lost a candy? And then she has to lift your head up and make you smile? Dude, you claim to love her and she clearly rejected you. And you so casually tell your friends that she said no. How old is he again? Twelve?

And the scene that follows, Manik asking Dhruv to make her smile, very contradictory. Nandini made Dhruv smile and Manik is hoping the impossible.
