Dhruv's character lacks continuity. I remember a time when he himself went to console Nandini after some guys tried to misbehave with her. However today when he has confessed to 'loving' Nandini, he remained uncaring of her tears. Why was it that Manik had to push him towards Nandini? Forget love for a moment. What about friendship? Dhruv is friends with Nandini, but he didn't seem concerned with her at all. I am sorry but the indifference there was so frustrating to bear. Is this the same Dhruv who punched Manik when he thought his friend had overstepped a boundary? No, I think not.

He doesn't know it yet, that what he is feeling, is not what love is all about. But he can't be blamed, as just like Nandini, he also said that he is new to this feeling. Kabhi usko aisa kuchh feel hi nahin hua, that he is attracted to someone beyond Fab 5. So he thinks it's love. Don't we ALL feel that way when we have a crush for the first time? And he went and confessed it to the one person he knew he could always rely on, Manik. Hoping against hopes that he will give his blessing to this potential relationship, despite his hatred towards Nandini.

Yes, he isn't as perceptive as he should be, but the way he grew up - in a shell, locking himself up, doesn't really give him much scope to be perceptive.

But yes, I don't understand why he needed a push to go after Nandini and console her! Like someone said, pehle toh he used to na, then why not after being in the belief that he's in love with her? THAT was weird.

I'm a HUGE MaNan shipper, but I don't think Dhruv is completely at fault here. But yes, yeh donon milke Nandini ka toh syaapa kar rahe hain bina baat ke! :|

We can discuss the Love track/triangle or any angle to the story showing some sensitivity to other fan groups.

@TM: You started hating Dhruv because he is coming between MaNan... and no MaNan fan will like it for sure since I am a fan of both (MaNan and Dhruv) I would say I am loving it because now there's a chance that Dhruv might know about MaNan and help them re-unite. And because finally Dhruv starts to speak up. Starts doing it his OWN way.
