Recap: light moments with fab 5...MaNanBir team up to make it Dhrulya...Manik and Harshad confrontation
Everyone left the canteen .They were now moving for the practice. Manik nodded his head to Cabir as if indicating him to start the plan.
Nandini: Ok guys. I have classes. I will see you all later.
Cabir: wait wait. I have something very important to discuss with all of you.
Everyone looked at him confused.
Cabir: let's just get to the practice room and I will blurt it. Or Manik might do it as well.
Nandini: but Cabir. My class
Manik: Nandini it's only going to take 5 minutes please.
NAndini gave a look like Manik I told the plan now execute it and keep me out of this. But Manik was Manik, he was adamant so she had to go along.
When they reached and settled down everyone gave questioning glances to Cabir and Manik who were looking at each other.
Mukti: ok what is it Manik and Cabir
Cabir; it's about Alya.
Alya: me...what about me
Cabir: actually Alya as Manik and you are not together anymore and Manik's already found someone. I think you should also see some guys
Before anyone could give the reaction it was Dhruv as expected.
Dhruv: what. Why
Cabir; why are you getting worked up...let me complete.
Dhruv stood there silent looking at Alya helplessly whereas Alya was too confused and shocked to react.
Cabir: yah so I have this friend of mine who is really very interested in Alya and he wants to take her out on a date. If you all have no objection and of course if Alya is ok with it.
Dhruv: I have an objection. Why will Alya go?
Alya looked confused at Cabir and then at Manik who winked at her .Alya understood it was their entire plan to make Dhruv confess but she was giving murderous glare to Cabir and Manik.
Cabir: why will you have an objection?
Dhruv: no. I don't have any objection. Alya...I feel...um...woh I meant Alya won't be comfortable you know. She just got over Manik so she should give some time to herself.
Mukti: I don't think so. If Alya meets new people she will have this new confidence with in herself and about the personal space; it's not that the guy is going to be with her whole day. For some hours it would be a good change for Alya. What do you say Nandini
NAndini: um...what do I say? I am not going for the date. It's Alya. So let her opinion voice out rather than ours.
Manik: true. So Alya what do you want to do? Listen it's completely your decision.
Alya: um...what will I say? I mean
Dhruv did not let ALya complete and spoke again
Dhruv: see I told you all she does not want to go.
Cabir: dude what is wrong with you. She never told that in fact you did not let her complete her sentence. Let her speak
Dhruv stood silent but he clutched his fingers into fist and made an angry face which did not go unnoticed by everyone.
Alya: Alright. I don't mind going on a date if it's your friend. I mean who knows he could just be perfect for me
Dhruv pulled Alya towards him and grabbed her by her shoulders. Cabir and Manik had hit on the bulls eye. They were sure that he would confess but alas it was Dhruv.
Dhruv: why will you? You don't go finding your perfect match. Sometimes it's just there but you never see it.
With those words he went out angrily with Manik following him.
Mukti: what happened to him? Why did he get so angry?
Cabir: Mukti...You did not drink horlicks in childhood did you
Mukti: what
Cabir: I mean seriously I know you have very less brain. But sometimes there is no harm using that limited edition.
He hit Mukti playfully on her head with his hand only to be hit by Mukti again.
Cabir: Can't you figure out Dhruv is getting possessive over Alya...
Mukti: so what...even I get possessive over her.
Alya gave up the hope and sat on the chair till the time Cabir made Mukti understand.
Cabir: ok...why do you get possessive for her?
Mukti: because I love her
Cabir: BINGGO...Dhruv loves Alya
Mukti: But Dhruv loved Nandini...I mean at least he felt he did and that's what he said us
Cabir felt like banging his head on the wall and said in frustration
Cabir: nothing can happen with you...your antenna is wrongly placed...
Nandini then narrated to Mukti everything in detail and finally Mukti got enlightened. Mukti hugged Alya in happiness and Cabir hit her on the head and mocked her.
NAndini: guys I need to rush.bye...
She went to the door and turned back
NAndini: and Mukti. We need to meet up behind the music wing remember.
Mukti nodded her head and Nandini left from there
Here on the other side Dhruv came out angrily from the room and went to the stairs. MAnik followed him and was calling his name but Dhruv was mad.
MAnik: buddy. Buddy listen to me
Dhruv: why should I listen...nobody listens to me.
Manik put his hands on his shoulders and made him sit on the stairs.
MAnik: calm down...take a deep breathe...now tell me what's bothering you. I am here. I will listen every single word patiently.
Dhruv seemed to calm a bit and so Manik also sat on the stairs along with him.
Dhruv: no buddy. I mean why. Why will Alya go on a date...that too with a stranger...?
MAnik: stranger where did that come from? Remember he is Cabir's friend
Dhruv: so what buddy if he is Cabir's friend? He is a stranger for us and Alya...you know how she is right. Posh and elegant...She won't get impressed by that simple guy
Manik was finding it hard to control his laughter. He realized everyone becomes like him when it concerns their love.
Manik: Dhruv we don't know if the guy is -simple or classy
Dhruv: right if he is classy then zero attraction...they will repel each other
Manik: buddy it's not physics ...its love
Dhruv: exactly Manik...its love...If she did not like me
Dhruv went silent. He had spoken too much.
Manik: what...come back again? What did you just say...?
Dhruv tried walking away but Manik caught hold of his hands and said
Manik: I know there have come lots of differences...not differences...we have not shared things and we get to know things about each other from others but I am still your buddy...
Dhruv: no buddy it's not like that...I mean
Manik: I am Manik...Dhruv's buddy...I understand completely what you mean...but sometimes voicing out your feelings yourself is not a bad idea...is it?
Dhruv sat down back again and then said
Dhruv: yes I like Alya...I don't know whether it's love but it's definitely a very very strong feeling I have for her.
Manik: and
Dhruv: but she does not like me
Manik laughed and then mocked him
MAnik: did she say that to you...
Dhruv: no...But I...know
Manik: don't dare to tell me you are assuming it...
Dhruv: I am not assuming...you know how she is right...and I
MAnik then came in front of Dhruv and made him stand up. He then started checking his body.
Manik: what about you...you have two eyes which she also has...two ears...perfectly alright...one nose...hands...done...oh yah...your heart...see it's beating...and we don't need to check the brain do we...I mean everyone knows you are the intelligent quotient of Fab 5...But how can you act so dumb?
Dhruv: but what about my attacks
Manik was mocking him when he stood silent hearing Dhruv. He had to make Dhruv understand but how. He then said
Manik: you are not confessing because of that stupid silly attacks...Are you serious Dhruv?
Dhruv stood silent and his expressions were looking guilty but not for not proposing Alya till now but as if he was responsible for his condition.
MAnik: buddy...You are perfectly alright. There are people who have terminal illness but yet love. You know the feeling of love is so so very special that you forget all your weakness. It completes you and brings out the other side in you. Your best side
Dhruv looked at Manik.
Manik: One day everyone has to die and nobody knows when that day is...it could be today, tomorrow any day...But one does not stop loving with the fear of dying...And your attacks are not even the ones which will kill you. It's just that you get out of control but you get calm after some time...So there is no harm .trust me
Dhruv still did not look convinced.
Manik: ...And you should be thankful...At least you have your voice...you can talk...But look at Rishab...he can't speak...vent our his frustrations or confess his feeling...but yet he lives his life...He does not stop loving his sister Nandini because of that. Rather he is her biggest support system...and neither he is guilty that his sister has to bear so much for him because if he has that weakness Nandini also has some...But they support and love each other that I feel out of place with them..they need no one when they are together...And Alya needs you right now...I was just her childhood fantasy...trust me she never shared all her worries about harshad or anyone. She spoke about that to you...So see your priority in her life...
Dhruv was just listening to Manik intently and then was smiling
Manik: what
Dhruv: Nandini has changed you ...but for good...I don't see the impulsive and angry Manik...but a matured one who can sort his life really well...
Manik: of course you will...I don't how many times she has threatened to leave me. if I will also be impulsive I will lose her forever...And I really can't afford that...at least not now...
Dhruv stood up and was walking away when Manik again called him.
Manik: where are you going now?
Dhruv: preparations...Date with Alya
Manik smiled and hugged Dhruv. He finally had knocked down some senses into him.
On the other side Mukti was searching for Nandini. And then she remembered she would have been behind the music wing as always because Mukti did not want to discuss her problems openly in the classroom .And today Nandini had told that she would take her somewhere so that no one could know about their talks.
She reached there but to her surprise she found that empty. She took her phone out and messaged her.
Where are you? I have waiting for you behind the music wing
NAndini replied.
I am sorry. Just stuck up. Will reach there in 5.
Mukti then sat on the stairs waiting for her arrival. She felt a hand on her shoulder. She expected it to be Nandini and said
Mukti: where were you? I have been waiting
But she found that to be Harshad who was giving a wicked smile at her.
Harshad: Oh so you have been waiting. I knew you would
Mukti: what the hell are you doing here?
Harshad: you expected me didn't you...After all when a guy like me breaks up with you that are the only thing they do?
Mukti: really Harshad...let me correct you...When a girl like me broke up with a guy like you...she waits but definitely not for you but for better people in her life
Harshad: ohm...so whom were you waiting. Your next target...or another poor guy for you to have some fun at night...isn't it Mukti Vardhan
Mukti got really mad and raised her hand only to be caught by Harshad.
Mukti: leave my hand Harshad or you know the consequences don't you
Harshad: seriously...but I don't see your body guards around...where are they...Manik...Cabir...Dhruv...
Mukti hit him with her thigh on the restricted zone .Harshad yelled in pain and left her hand immediately.
Mukti: for a guy like you who is no less than a looser I don't need body guards...get that
Mukti tried going away when Harshad grabbed her again and said
Harshad: at least I am a loser but a well reputed one...What about you Mukti. Who has one night stands with filthy cheap to high standards...you know what the society calls girl like you don't you...
He then released her and grabbed her and made him face him.
Harshad: thank god I left you...Otherwise I don't know what kind of betrayal you would give me...
Mukti: I left you. You betrayed me that too for a woman much older than you
Harshad: so you know what your standard is don't you...however if it had not been for Fab 5 you would be all alone...in some brothel maybe...you parents aren't much fond of themselves so they definitely won't care where their daughter is...
Harshad had done the harm. Mukti could not speak anything. Everything was flashing in her mind. From her parent's fights, to Harshad leaving her. Harshad left from there leaving Mukti totally shattered. She wanted her pills right now. She needed it. She was getting out of control. Everything was zooming in and out of her head. All those memories her worst nightmares. She hit the glass pane in frustration with her fist.
Nandini was rushing to meet Mukti. She was really late and knowing Mukti she was scared. She was about to go to the stairs when she clashed with Harshad in front of the music wing. She wondered what was he doing there and if he had met Mukti. But she brushed her thoughts and went behind the wing .She realized Mukti had met Harshad as there were broken pieces of glass and Mukti was down on the stairs with her back towards Nandini.
Nadine reached there hurriedly and said
Nandini: I am sorry Mukti. You had to wait...Harshad came...
But Mukti showed no movement. Rather when she looked carefully she saw pool of blood coming out. She turned Mukti to her side only to find she had cut her nerves and was on the verge of passing out. Nandini got scared and frightened.
Nandini: Mukti...
She slapped her cheeks and said
Nandini: Mukti...no...no don't close your eyes...
She then hurriedly took her handkerchief out and tied around her wrist.
Nandini: Mukti don't please be with me...what to do. Ambulance...no a...if it comes to the college...there will be a ruckus...Manik...Manik...
She took her phone and called him.
While on the other side. Manik and Cabir were chilling on the terrace.
Cabir: phew...finally...Alya and Dhruv went for the date...
Manik: But Alya doesn't know Dhruv is you're that friend does she
Cabir: no...That the surprise...
Manik : I can't imagine the look of Alya...I had a hard time convincing her to go out...She was like how will Dhruv tell his feelings if I go on date with Cabir's friend...I came out with the lamest reason...that Dhruv would follow her there...
Cabir: I hope he just tells it all...or Alya is going to kill us...
MAnik: don't' worry he will. But where are Nandini and Mukti
Cabir: Yah we should be partying. Nandini gave a Fab idea .It worked in a day or knowing Dhruv he would take 6 months to confess...
Their talk was interrupted by the phone call. Manik showed him the caller.
Cabir: Speak of the devil and
Manik: angel
He then picked up the call only to hear Nandini all scared and worried.
Nandini: Manik...come to the music wing fast. And tell your driver to bring the car at the college back door...
Manik: why...I mean,
Nandini: Manik please come fast...Mukti...
Manik got scared. He did not want his worst nightmare to come true.
Manik: what Mukti
Nandini: Mukti has cut her never...please get here soon...
Manik: I am coming.
He cut the call and gave his phone to Cabir saying call the driver to the back door and ran...
Manik: Cabir...fast...Mukti...has cut her nerves...
Both Cabir and Manik ran .They dropped everything that came in their way and reached the stairs in what seemed like a second to find Mukti in Nandini's lap in pool of blood. And Nandini slapping her cheeks and sprinkling water on her so that she opens her eyes.
