Recap: Nandini and Fab 5 spend some time together

This chapter will have two parts as it came out to be very long.The another edition will be posted tonight.

Nandini woke up at 4 in the morning to find Mukti and Alya sleeping on the adjacent bed. This definitely had to be the best morning in her life. Everything seemed so perfect. Finally she did not have a burden in her heart about Manik preferring her over his friends. She did not need to be guilty as Fab 5 was still together. She slowly got up from the bed and glanced at Mukti and Alya. She smiled how although Alya had a very uncomfortable sleeping pattern Mukti had adjusted by hugging her and Alya had cuddled to her. It looked as if sisters were sleeping. She slowly adjusted the blanket and came out to the lawn where they had the bonfire last night. The ashes were still burning which meant Fab 5 had retired to bed just some minutes or an hour ago. She wondered how everyone in this group was nocturnal but then she thought maybe it was many years of practice.

She adjusted the shawl and remembered how last night Manik openly showed his care for her. She could not stop blushing as she now completely knew that Manik loved her a lot. She was totally lost in her thoughts when she heard someone spoke. She turned back to find Cabir there with two hot mugs as steam was still coming out.

Cabir: Hot chocolate

She smiled as she took it and Cabir showed her the way as if indicating her to get seated on the couch placed a bit far from there. They were walking and talking.

Nandini: I thought you all just slept some time back...

Cabir: you are right. We resided to bed some time back indeed.

Nandini looked at him confused and asked.

Nandini: then how come you are awake

Cabir: I did not feel like sleeping. Sleep seemed far away from me.

They sat on the couch facing each other.

Nandini: Cabir I know there are lots happening in your life. But one should sleep. You know when a person resides to bed at night; he resides with the hope that the next morning will bring a new direction for him.

Cabir was loss for words for the first time. He was here drinking hot chocolate with a girl and actually talking about his life. The thing which he did with no one.

Cabir: you believe so

NAndini: yes I do. Because life will get more worse than that is what I believe in .And that gives me certain energy to fight back. It motivates me.

Cabir: Nandini Moorthy I am impressed...

NAndini smiled and bowed her head.

Cabir: so do you always wake up so early or is it that Manik and you had a secret romantic morning date...

Nandini flushed with the mention of Manik and then said

Manik: I thought you knew your friend is not a morning person...

Cabir: And I knew yesterday that you can't stay after 12 at night. So how...I mean how you did ...I mean both of you...poles apart...

Nandini smiled and said

Nandini: Opposite poles strongly attract each other...

With that Cabir raised his cup for a toast and said

Cabir: true that...Even Raghav and I...

Cabir stopped. Nandini realized what went wrong.

NAndini: ummm...My hot chocolate is already over but I can give you something more relishing then this right now.

Cabir looked at her with questioning eyes.

NAndini: I will tell you a secret. The reason to why I wake up so early in the morning always.

She then took Cabir by his hands and brought him to the terrace.

Cabir: Nandini. Have some mercy on me. You are wearing a shawl for yourself but I am in shorts. And it's so cold out here.

Nandini threw the shawl on Cabir in excitement and walked to the end of tithe terrace.

Cabir covered him in the shawl and said

Cabir: what are you trying to do Nandini?

NAndini: Cabir. See its 5:30.I read the weather forecast. The sun is about to rise.

Cabir looked at her in disbelief and said

Cabir: you seriously read the weather forecast

NAndini: Cabir...come. It's about to in 2 minutes.

She pulled him and threw the shawl and then said

Nandini: Now follow me.

Cabir: yes boss

She took his arms and indicated to open it straight. She did the same. She took off her slippers and stood barefoot. Cabir thought this girl is crazy but he really did not know why he wanted to follow what she was doing.

She then said

NAndini: Now close your eyes and repeat.

Thank you for everything you have given me. There have been bad times but I know that you will always be there. There are times I want to break down but the hope of you making things better keeps me going. So just be with me always. I wish to have a rocking life ahead but now as well Life could not have been better.

Cabir repeated what she said.

Nandini: Now open your eyes.

When Cabir opened his eyes the sun rays were beaming. The birds were chirping. There was a sudden chilly feeling over his body but it did not matter. The warmth of the rays felt better. He was actually feeling good. He was smiling. Not the one which he gives with his shades on but in reality-the genuine smile he longs for.

Nandini: see...you are smiling...I told you Cabir when a sun raises every living thing on this earth celebrates. The birds chirping, the flowers with dews. Everything is happy because it knows that this marks a new beginning for them. Beginning whose journey they don't know but they have the faith that sun has raised for good. So just feel this feeling with open and content arms. You see Life is indeed an awesome place to live.

She then wiped the tears coming from his eyes and said

Nandini: And it's perfectly alright sometimes to just sit back and cry.

Cabir looked at her and then wiped his face .He did not even realize he had been crying.

Cabir: no...I had not been crying...You know dust and pollution...

NAndini: maybe...dust and pollution early in the mooring...very common...

She smiled and Cabir too smiled embarrassed that his lies had been caught.

NAndini: Cabir trust me. Being gay is perfectly normal. Your mom is not worried about that. She will accept you. She is worried that what the society will say. She loves you and she does not want her son to be a laughing riot in the society. And she is bound too that what she has been seeing all her life. You know the impression thing is really hyped here. But seriously believe me she will accept you soon. In fact the society will. And that day Raghav sir will come back to you. He did not leave you because he did not love you but because he loved you the most. The villain in your story is the society. You fight is the fight of one's self respect. And you will win. one day they will change for sure. We will change it.

She took his hands and assured him and he nodded his heads with her.

Nandini: you have no fault and you are no less. Seriously if Manik had not been in my life I would have fallen for you long time back.

Cabir laughed and said: I am a gay and a cool dude you know...

Nandini mocked him and said

Nandini: Not because of your cool dude attitude but because of your pure soul. You are a blessing to the mankind Cabir. You are the perfect human being.

She kissed him on his forehead. Cabir was shocked.He was so touched by what NAndini did for him. He felt as if rejuvenation just occurred with in him. The words of NAndini were so motivating that his problems seemed to end it all right here.

He was just smiling to himself.

Cabir: MAnik has made the best choice. This indeed is the finest decision of his life of not letting you go...

NAndini: right Na...even I know that NAndini Moorthy is the best.

And both of them laughed. They laughed heartily. They did not know the reason but they could not stop laughing. They realized that they were laughing so hard until all of the Fab 5 came upstairs and looked at them in bewilderment.

Cabir finally controlled himself and looked at them in shock.

Manik: We are searching for you both in the whole house and you guys are here laughing like maniacs...Why you are all acting like idiots...

Cabir: you definitely thought that Nandini eloped with me. But dude you know how I am right...

Mukti: Cabir. Stop this and how did you wake up so soon. I mean 7 and you are out of the bed.

Cabir: NAndini...its 7 already...We never realized...

Alya: what

NAndini: actually I woke up at 4 and Cabir joined me.

Cabir: MAnik you missed the chance...

Dhruv: what were you doing waking up at 4 in the morning?

Cabir: that a top secret mission only I and Nandini know...SO shh...

Mukti: whatever...we need to move from here...

Alya: Yah guys...

Manik: cool then. Let's change here it and go to the college...

Dhruv: sounds like a good idea.

So with that everyone left slowly. Before Cabir left he hit MAnik on the shoulder and said

Cabir: perfect choice. She is awesome...

MAnik smiled and bowed his head.

There were only Manik and Nandini left. Nandini smiled at him and said

NAndini: Good morning...

Manik: Cabir seems to be quite impressed with you.

Nandini: I am already a good personality so it's not a tough job...you see...

MAnik: really...

HE then took the shawl on the floor and wrapped it around his arms cornering Nandini. Nandini knew where this was all going to so she kissed him on the cheeks and ran away.

Nandini: really MAnik...

MAnik turned towards her and said

Manik: I love you

NAndini reached to the door and turned and said

NAndini: the feeling is mutual Mr. Malhotra.
