Covering for each other comes quite naturally for Cabir and Manik these days -- More covering and hiding to come.
Edit -- Even today Manik was quick to cover up for Cabir's absence -- he did it without even thinking, it's like a second nature to him ...

Cabir definitely is more observant --- I was reading Cabir's brother Ranbir's description in Fanaah 2 and I realized how similar both the brothers are --(or their character's have been made, for that matter.)

One of the qualities of Ranbir is that he is 'Deceptively Sharp' and it made me think. It applies rightly to Cabir, as well.
He sees things, observes things --- stores in a corner of his mind and does nothing about it till he has to. None of his business, so he can't bother. No one realizes it, no one sees the wheel's turning in his brain -- because he is always ready to cover himself up when it is needed. If someone notices anything, he is ready to distract them with madeup bullshit from here and there.
He might have already noticed the strain between Alya and Manik and now might be knowing that they are over -- Just like Dhruv knew without being told.
But, he will let it come out naturally, when it has to. Till then he is going to cover up for Manik. Because the fact that he is covering up whatever is going on between Manik and Nandini even after looking weirded out when he saw them dancing, and then teasing Manik about Nandini when they are alone -- I think he is already in the know, or might be speculating something.

Hi
Manik would like chachi in future. May be currently he is indifferent. But during Rishab incident he was irritated to have been spoken to. Initially he didn't even recognize her. Same irritation/ expression I saw in the way he said Poori.
You know why it hit me so much, poor me wanted Manik to have those Manchurian pooris and be nice to chachi. But it didn't happen.

I was against nails as they some times leave permanent mark and they take time to heal - experience from sibling fights.

But All this discussion about claws n nails is giving me an idea.

Nandu Manik ko dho panja maarne ke bhaad bolni chahiyethi "it's ok I understand. Next time if you hurt me I won't forgive you".
