I am again thinking about the "star connection" and it's symbolism since it has been a recurring theme in the show. Now, MaNan conversation about their love/hate relationship with stars is so intriguing.
Manik loves them, Dhruv is afraid, Nandini hates them.
Manik hates his parents,Manik makes a wish to a star, Manik's wish is fulfilled, Manik doesn't ask for the love of his parents.Manik didn't lose anything.There was nothing to lose.
To a star, Dhruv lost himself, Manik gained Dhruv,through a star.Manik loves how they shine, they brought light in his dark world.
Rishabh lost himself to a star, Nandini gained nothing, Nandini lost his brother.Nandini loved her parents, Nandini did not asked for anything, she lost her parents to the star. She wants to crush them, they crushed her world.

it's interesting how they always go back to the stars. It's just a dark looming cloud over the whole story.

Manik , the loner took to the stars because they made him wishful for their distant shine that a dark night brings with it. Perhaps, his longing for that light kept his goodness intact. His faith in them grew more because of Dhurv, they gave him to Manik. Somebody who he can care and who loved him back. In a way Dhruv became his star, hence the controlling behaviour to protect Dhruv.

Dhruv - lost himself to the stars yet what he is unaware ,that he is one of them too. He is a star to somebody else. He is significant enough to illuminate someone else's dark world. His ignorance to his own shine , makes him special. But then like a star , he is burning himself without realizing that he too can be loved, he is valued . He thinks his world is dark,but is it really?

Nandu- She hates them and rightly soo. They shattered her world. Took her parents, a part of her brother and made her life full of darkness. She distrusts them because to her they have always taken things , it's been a barter system . Hence her hate for the shiny distant selfish stars and her love for firelies. Because the latter fights the darkness inspite of their size, they glow and shine on their own. This gives her power, she knows she has to shine and glow on her own to fight the demons of her life. Yet she is unaware that her glow and shine is brightening up the lives of two lost souls. For Manik she is a firefly who is teaching him to be true to himself and fight the darkness rather than be part of it. For dhruv , her glow is inspiration . Nandu is special.

I really do find this star connection very interesting.. I think from the very episode they have established something or the other related to the star whether it was when Nandini was saved from falling the only thing she noticed was the star dangling on the guitar or Rishabh-Dhruv drawing the same kind of star

I feel Manik feels comfort in the stars he associates all things good in his life with the stars shining and Nandini associates everything bad with the stars as they have taken from her and Dhruv I feel finds comfort in stars like it gives him peace or I guess it's more like a mystery for him he wants to know more about stars and their importance in his life

'Star connections' in this show is one of the many things that got me intrigued!

I am eagerly waiting to see how this shooting star and the stars(drawn by rishab-dhruv) connected to each other...its seems very mysterious and secretive...i love such things in a show...i want to see how they will link everything and everyone with this...
now i guess they are reaching to that point... 😳 😳
