Manik, like Adhira said, has already been slotted and neatly pigeon-holed into one box. He will never be able to come out of the box for people who are unwilling to give him a chance. Love may not always involve sexuality, true. But Manik, as a character, is rather hormonal and turbulent. It is only expected that his affection will involve some heavy-handed sexuality.

Nandini, IMO, is not only emotionally bonding with Manik, but let's face the truth here, she is also totally physically attracted to him. And tell me the truth, won't you be? I like that she is not shying away from her attraction towards Manik.

Honestly, if I can pick one reason to remember KY2, it'd definitely be Nandini NOT going all, "hayee Ram! He touched me! Main impure hogayi!" after all her intimate encounters with Manik. The fact that she gets affected and post the encounter she gets butterflies seeing Manik as she remembers it, it makes me wanna hug the writers. Thank YOU for writing a girl someone who reacts in a REAL manner.

Heck, I accidentally brushed my fingers with my crush and I kept getting the tingles and wished for an encore for days...yahan tou full fledged hug and almost kisses are happening. The girl is bound to like it now that she knows he isn't a bad guy..
