Anyone whoz anyone can see that Manik is just a kid, with mommy/daddy (whichever) issues. He doesn't handle it very well and often bullies ppl and takes his frustration out on them. If he dealt with his issues in a calm and mature manner he prolly wouldn't be doing half the things he does. But then he wouldn't be a kid either now, would he ?! And just cuz this guy is a lil prickly, he is less deserving of love compared to the shaant and susheel guy ? How does a third person get to determine who gets to have love and who doesn't ?

Waise dekha jae tou now he deals with his issues in a calmer manner and doesn't resort to do doing the typical "bad boy" thing. C'mon, gotta give this guy points for proper character development.

This is the problem with watching youth shows TBH. People are too young to actually understand things that need to be talked about.

Manik, like Adhira said, has already been slotted and neatly pigeon-holed into one box. He will never be able to come out of the box for people who are unwilling to give him a chance. Love may not always involve sexuality, true. But Manik, as a character, is rather hormonal and turbulent. It is only expected that his affection will involve some heavy-handed sexuality.

Nandini, IMO, is not only emotionally bonding with Manik, but let's face the truth here, she is also totally physically attracted to him. And tell me the truth, won't you be? I like that she is not shying away from her attraction towards Manik.

There are no good guys or bad guys in this show, there are real people with faults here who try and overcome their faults and mistakes. This is a story about the human journey and if you can look beyond the superficial prejudices, people will understand it.
