Dhruv was sympathetic to Nandu , just her not others. Similarly, Manik is unravelling himself to nandu and us . Like we are knowing aboutother members of fab5 , we are knowing about him too.
Dhruv enjoyed the plotting against Harshad, was smiling when Manik teased Navya and he handed over the guitar string during the bin thing. They are misguided individuals and this show is their story.

The depth to their character doesn't take away from their actions, similarly, it does give a reason to their actions. We see why they need to feel all powerful and why they resot to bullying.

Law and the Psychological analysis will suggest counselling and reforms not jail. We need to remember they are teens in college. They are not criminals , yet. They all felt bad about the goon incident . So once they realize the gravity of their actions, they do introspect but the full comprehension is yet to happen.

Nandu hasn't forgotten the bullying , she rubs it on him all the time. But she now understands that Manik is not a Monster or this is not his basic nature. She knows why he has to pretend but doesn't know what made him choose this mask .

Like Cabir is sexually inhibited guy, he is living in a closet for years now and sometimes such kids do take to bullying to numb their pain and problems. Not right but makes sense. This goes for all 5 of them.

Redemption is not just for Manik but for each one of them. Revenge and power can drive seemingly good guys like Harshad and nice girls like Navya make foolish choices.

I was dying from major MaNan feels from today's episode but eff, this is a really good topic so Imma reply.

I can't speak for anyone else. In the initial days, when Manik was the true definition of the word 'Monster', that time I only liked the potential that MaNan had. I liked their Meethi Boliyan, I shipped the idea of two people who are so opposite of each other getting together because they found a common ground. I never bashed Manik (cuz I am not the bashing kind) but I never silently supported his actions either. I spoke against him when he crossed the line but at the same time, I never shut off any door of empathy for him. I was on the lookout for his good points so whenever I got them, I caught them and I kept them with me.

But since the question is why the forum has many MaNan fans tou I believe it's because MaNan gives me the opportunity to discuss. Forum for me is a place as much as for discussing as it's for fangirling. I think about MaNan, I like to talk about them, I love to see them today and compare them from yesterday and make a progress chart for them. MaNan are not stagnant. What they were when we met them in the show, they are not the same today. I haven't forgotten his actions or her silent acceptance of them, but I don't cling to them. Clinging to what characters did in the beginning of the show for the rest of the show, that's not how I watch a show.

KY2 is one show which gives me character development in MASSIVE heaps. Barring a few, all the characters have made a place in my heart. At the beginning I hardly liked anyone to the point of crazy, now I do. Because as the story progressed, I knew about all about what they are rather than what was just showed to me. That's a massive thing. I abhor such stories where characters have no layers, no flaws. Story ki shuru mein ek hero dikha diya tou buss, ab wo hero hi will save the day, everyday. KY2 doesn't have that factor, that's what makes me love it.

But I digress. Yes, I am a Manik lover and proud. Because my love for him grew, one day at a time. The way he has grown, one day at a time. He's not the same Manik who pushed a guy to the point of suicide for his selfish reasons. Today he's the guy who willingly let go of his musical priorities to save someone whom he used to torture for fun. He's not just the guy who lead a pack of bullies. Today I know him as the guy who'd do anything for his family like friends, even let go of his massive ego which can be his major turn off. He's not just the Monster...he's just a human who in his independent phase chooses to be the bad guy to the world because the world refused to extend him a hand of help when he needed it the most.

As for MaNan...I liked how they are not so typical. I like how they didn't share their first real intimate moment till they were mentally close enough. I like it how the writers didn't use the undeniable chemistry of the actors for fanservice till the characters reached that point of development where it made logical sense. I ship them for their growth. I ship them for their ease. I ship them not because they are fated, as indicated by the show, but because they are proving that fatefulness with their growth. From hatred filled fights to witty banter, I ship them because they've come a long way. I ship them because they have affected each other. I ship them because he, the guy who only does as he pleases, listens to her and she, who wanted nothing more than to erase his presence from her life, drew strength from him. I ship them because when their most ugliest phase was over, she came out stronger and he came out more human. I ship them because their lack of irrelevant encounters. I ship them because they are so similar in so many different ways. I ship them for their zidd. I ship them for their knee-jerk care for care for each other. I just...ship them.

Yeah, I won't deny that Parth & Niti's amazing chemistry plays a part. It does. But more than their obvious chemistry, it's the way they play the characters of Manik & Nandini and bring life to them...that's what I love about them.

But it's just me.

And then in the MaNan scenes, I see him trying to be physical most of the times, he touches her face, whenever he can, keeps moving towards her, too close(I know he is highly drawn towards her like a magnet) but won't you feel disgusted if someone like him does that with you? :o

Well being a Psychology student i would say guys believe in expressing physically than emotionally.
Anyway, regardless of that. I agree on the manhandling part.. and till a point even i used to feel all angry when he used to do that.. But that was till the time Nandu felt uncomfortable.., but now she doesnt.. In fact she lets him.. In fact his Manhandling has turned to handling her😆. Now how can you feel disgusted when the girl herself is not feeling uncomfortable about it.

Not to disrespect your opinion or anything but honestly, it's a show. not a real life documentary. a show meant to entertain. fiction. where at the end of the day, good triumphs over the evil, heroes come marching home, and war ends on happy notes. If we take this thing away from any sort of fiction, then world won't be left with any good stories.

I personally don't feel weird.

The thing is when one is attracted towards someone it is the physical looks you fall for the first thing. The face is the first thing you see...and fall for. So obviously he is drawn towards her in that sense as well. That is NOT THE ONLY thing he likes about her...just one of them.😳

But I don't see him being a jerk with everyone. He isn't a jerk with Rishabh, Chachi and others. Yes he is wrong at times...many times...but he isn't that BAD afterall. He also has an angelic side to him...and that has to be unmasked...which will be opened in some time.
