The difference between Manik and other tv characters like ASR, Asad etc is that he is a teen , he is at an age where he can get a pass for immaturity .He unlike others internalizes Nandu's perspective not just wrt to their equation but with others as well. This is his biggest plus.

He is not a grown-ass man who ridiculous a grown up adult woman .

He is not changing in a matter of seconds or because it's love. He is evolving because he is acknowledging the changing dynamics, new experiences and new emotions "age" and "growing up brings.

Similarly, fab5 need to grow up and realize that they cannot grow up to be bullies not even if they are labelled as broken kids. Hence this story.

Lol this is probably my first post in this forum 😆...I will be honest, I did not watch the show regularly from start...but yeah I am quite updated about the incidents that took place...and have seen the summaries in weekends and all 😆...now I watch this show regularly though 😆...coming to your topic...initially I did not like the Fab 5 group as a whole...what they did with Shahid, which almost drove him to the verge of committing suicide was downright cruel...and then started Manik's torture fest with Nandini...he bullied her, ragged her...even made her act like his spot...I seriously hated that Manik...but I very strongly feel that Nandini should also have protested...but I get it, she was new to this whole environment and standing up against a group of 5 was no mean feat...the first time I saw Manik's other side was when he took care of Dhruv after his attack...it showed that he really has a caring side behind this whole bullying nature...the similar attacks of Rishabh and Dhruv had brought Nandini and Manik close as it was a common ground and they could understand each other's concern regarding that...I guess that was the start of MaNan...Manik , I think is presently attracted towards Nandini, he does show his concern towards her...but its not love yet...before MaNan starts at all...he needs to really beg for forgiveness from Nandini, for all the cruelties that he had meted out to her...at first when DhruNi was shown , I actually liked it...I liked their cuteness...the way they secretly met, their friendship...discovering unknown feelings for each other...it was like a budding romance...dreamy, flowery 😆...but then Dhruv decided to end the friendship for Manik...and we started to get lesser and lesser DhruNi scenes...and now DhruNi seems to have fizzled out...so my point is...since now we are being given high doses of MaNan its very obvious more and more people are getting attracted towards them...also I feel MaNan has a very strong storyline...Manik a dark , broken "monster" who has a heart , who does care about people, but likes to keep it hidden, may be cause of his bitter childhood, may be he thinks showing concern is a weakness...and on the other hand is Nandini, a sweet girl, who is nave and innocent and also very caring...its like darkness and light meeting together...may be Nandini's nature will help Manik come out of his demonic shell...I wont say DhruNi did not have a potential story, but it would have been very ordinary...tit was cute but there was no fire between them and I like a bit of passion 😉 Whom do I ship? currently I guess I am shifting towards MaNan...I am not any of the actors fan, so shipping for a character only because of the actor, is not a choice for me here...I am only thinking of shipping them cause of the potential story they have...I strongly believe no one is absolutely "white" , we all have grey shades...sometimes some people are a tad darker then the rest of us...and Manik is one of them...but there is hope of his redemption...and I can see that he is changing...do you think Dhruv is all white? even he had only come to the rescue of Nandini, but where was he when Shahid was bullied or when Navya was locked in a trash can? so his concern is also centred around Fab 5 and Nandini...I guess there are flaws in everyone of us ...and there are flaws in each of the characters of the show...but then these flaws make them special...😛

I am not here to convince you to ship Manan...after all it is personal choice...I just shared my thoughts on the matter ...no offence 😳
