Gautam being angry that his engagement broke like how it broke up, and has hence taken revenge by making videos of the leads. But this completely new character acting like a male version of the mistress is so boring.

Abhiraj is brought to create problems between leads as he had to take revenge from him. They have some back story while Gautam was just her fiancee so he did not had that impact which Abhiraj character will have while creating rift between them. Mistress will be mostly exposed in flat case and take back seat for sometime till that time it's Abhiraj time to lead from the front. Mostly Abhiraj may decide to marry Ammu and Babita will agree for it as he will manipulate her by saying he is doing it to save Virat from another dhoka. Virat after knowing his true intentions behind this marriage will either stop the marriage or will marry her.

Yeah, this sounds more logical than what they may be planning.. that coolie saves Amu from a deceitful, dishonest marriage with Abhiraj and the hate is from Ammu's side, not coolie's.

Abhiraj in a upcoming scene segment is shown spying & recording a video, but feel its not what is assumed in this topic post or for the purpose mentioned.

Who knows, Raj might be the one to bring out actual person who financed bail amount & prepared those loan papers, on which Jahan signed without reading, under whose instructions goons came to lock out that flat.

I would also like to believe what you are saying, but for Raj to collect proof, both mistress, her henchmen and the lawyer are outside the Ahuja house, and Raj was standing recording the video in the Ahuja house. What proof can he get for strengthening case for Amruta and against mistress in Ahuja house? (Unless the mistress is silly enough to talk to the lawyer in the house somewhere and Raj happens to eavesdrop on everything).
Plus Raj wants to increase distance/make people against Coolie. By helping Amruta and resolving their differences, he is helping resolve the matter and going against his aim of creating differences and fights between Amvira.
