The actor playing Abhiraj is a senior actor and more famous than Arjit. Looks like he may stay for long in a negative role.

Or Angad Hasija should have been cast as Gautam. It's a case of overdose now. Also if Abhiraj has just been brought to take over mistress' usual job like making secret videos of the leads and using it to defame them, it would have made more sense if he was playing Gautam for him to do this.

Gautam being angry that his engagement broke like how it broke up, and has hence taken revenge by making videos of the leads. But this completely new character acting like a male version of the mistress is so boring.

True. But guess they thought having this 'friends turned foes' track will do wonders. Can consider themselves fortunate that the ratings haven't dropped (yet... one coming up today). Seems like they changed Gautam's and Aaji's role to have this particular track and gave both of them quite lame exits.

In a way, showing Abhiraj to be in good terms with Babita is something we thought Gautam would do - be in cahoots with her (and in the end, dump Amruta at the mandap - though this part may not apply to Abhiraj). Might as well have done it with him.
