Apt analysis E.... Even I think that the serial writers r now concentrating on fleshing out other characs a little more seriously .... earlier on they were relegated to merely being on the periphery (remember the Angad_kripa disco scene ... when both A-K are giving each other longing looks & Mishty & Prithvi were shown to be totally unaware!!!) ... which to be honest... is a little unfair to them .... plus, it doesnt gel with our logic either: Secondary characters acting like automatons.... helping the star couple on cue ..... Nah! Too convinient! We want them to act human too: to lash out in anger, burn with envy & jealousy & yes... even act petty for the sake of winning their love... that makes so much more sense...... so I am ok with it....


As far as Kripa's gallant act of putting Prithvi's ring back on the WRONG finger is concerned ( it was her right hand) ... hmmmm.... honestly, I expected her to do just that .... otherwise .... she would just NOT be Kripa (as we have come to know her).... I think the real challenge for her will come when she realises that "Moving on & away from Angad: is easier said than done"... she will have to fight her inner demons & longings(the itch to go back to him as it were)... and like u put (very beautifully ) A & K are still very much vulnerable to each other.... so its going to be an uphill task for her.
( lets see you deal with this St Prithvi: Angad ingratiating himself on every waking thought of every day of Kripa's life!)

Plus, I have this sneaky feeling that Angad might pull a volteface , once he finds out that Kripa knows about his atonement ...& thinking that she didnt feel his sacrifices were "good enough" to forgive him & his past sins .... he might turn nasty (in other words ... we might see him back in his old 'steam-roller' skin... (I am taking what I want)... I think..... So he mite concentrate on getting his star status and his girl back.

And another thing ... prithvi might have scoffed at joining hands with Karthik now, But if angad is back to his former self, I am sure that Saint Prithvi will (promptly)lose his piousness & celestial glow & his (irritating)halo will be replaced with 2 horns and a forked tail & karthink will be his Best Bud .... seeing as how all's fair in luv n all that.... what say?

You know what? I think his heart is already broken. I think it got broken when KS accepted to get married to Prithvi. I think that despite being such a oh-I-don't-believe-in-love character before, he had completely given himself up when he put the sindoor on her forehead, or scribbled her name on his chest. IF he'd married Mishti, it'd be a sham of a marriage and Mishti'd have broken up with him very soon.

So, I don' t think that he'll react particularly to any of this -- he'll just accept it as his fate.

The thing to worry about is that he doesn't let it get it down so badly that he will stop fighting about EVERYTHING, particularly his music. I would love to see AK getting back into making music, because that is what he has left.

Ya, it was startling how QUICKLY he lost it with her. I know you said in an earlier response that everyone (other than KS) can unlock Prithvi's Achilles Heel. But he's very controlled with everyone else: he can smile when Daadi asks him if he is not afraid; he can spew venom at KKarthik. I think he can even put up a stone face with his mother.

But Mishti? He's practically an open book to her, even now, when he has KS to occupy his mind and heart.

Actually, I loved it very badly. :-) I think that this brother-sister relationship completely _rocks_ and I'm glad that there is some focus being put on bringing it out. And in such a subtle sweet manner.

It's not in-your-face like the AK-KS relationship - they too are open books to each other too in a similar fashion, but they get shoved down your throat. Since KYPH is about AK&KS, it is to be expected that the central focus of the writers lie there.

But often, it's for the hard-to-find touches that I suspect that I would like to keep watching the show. :-)

:-( This is the part of life which I don't think either KS or Prithvi have thought through. I'd imagine it's very difficult living together when KS will be constantly going on a high -- getting the spark in her eye, a blush on her cheeks -- everytime that AK is near.

_The_ scene that captured this behaviour for me was the scene when Prithvi loses it after KidnappingAttempt#1 and clasps KS to his manly bosom. KS' face there was dead and uncomprehending.

The _moment_ she caught sight of AK standing looking like a stone statute behind Prithvi, everything about her came alive! Her eyes sparked, she was flushed, she was vibrating with anger - but that is life! Such a difference from the stone-cold creature that Prithvi was holding.

They say love is blind, and I can imagine that Prithvi is not able to see these symptoms; They say love is blind and KS is getting good at ignoring the symptoms. :-(

I've actually been toying with the idea that in today's episode, AK is supposed to be asleep -- but what if he wasn't and actually heard what KS said. :-) Just a thought... it would be QUITE interesting.

As to his "getting his girl back", I've said this before, I think: today's AK will not do anything to disturb KS' happiness even remotely. If he thinks that Prithvi is the best person for KS -- which he does -- he will not do anything to get his girl back. He will only actively go out to get KS (IMHO) if he knows either that Prithvi is scum (which is not the direction that I think the serial is taking) or that KS will be happier with him (PLEASE, let _this_ be the way it goes!!! Please!! It would be _very_ challenging to pull off, but it would be _sooo_ cool! :-) )

:-) I think there's more hope there than actual logic, no?

Maybe it's my limited imagination, but I can't visualise Prithvi The Good going to bed with Kunning Karthik. I know practically anything can happen in KYPH-land, but I'm hoping that the logic/rationale that we've seen so far holds. If so, it's difficult to imagine. Perhaps a business deal? I dunno....

i think it was a great analysis ..
i understand kripa sticking with prithvi ....she just cant throw away all that prithvi did for her ...

and my jaw hung its lowest when prithvi pulled that ring out of kripas finger .....but yet somewhere i did realise that kripa will not let go of him.

with mishty and prithvi yesterday i felt a lil bad for seeing a good brother sister relationship going to dogs... it did hurt.

Yes, this is where I think that the KYPH writers are going overboard with Prithvi The Goodness. KS said that she had thought deeply before she said yes to him, that she would take time get close to him. What about this stuff changed with her knowing about AK giving up everything for her? Was he just testing her and her integrity?

Somehow, I just don't get Prithvi.. :-(

Ya, me too. I am waiting to see Mishti&Prithvi as sister&brother together with almost as much eagerness as AK&KS forever. :-)
