Anoli, I agree 16 is waaayyy too young for boyfriends becoz one does not have the maturity to deal with it.
When in love - Yes, people hold hands, look into each others eyes and want to share things, be with each other and do things to bring a smile to the other.
After a point you tune into each others emotions and you can pick on nuances of when they are happy, upset or sad and you react to it and want to either solve the problem or absorb their pain or just be a shoulder for them ( yes, women are emotionally strong enough to support someone when they are down or hurting.).
But crying buckets of tears at being separated for a few days does not happen in real life – a little perhaps
If someone is constantly feeling up and smooching on the pretext of being a boyfriend, it seems more of taking advantage than loving to me. I see it happen around.
Being in love is fun as long as the certain lines are maintained for your own self respect.
