gauri is good and am fond of her...much better than neha....neha needs to be serious abt taking crash course in acting...she is cute and all....but acting...she needs to be serious...my best leading lady wud be narayani,nikki and ofcourse am fond of this new girl prachi desai..she is awesome...and so is mona.

qazi is not a good singer...but won coz of his luks..his persona...nana is definitely one of the best actors in india......i love this man..he is too good and so is nasserudin shah.......so what i was trying to say is iqbal is not like qazi...seriously iqbal is not that very good luking...i wud rather ogle at ejaaz or raajiv than at iqbal.....but iqbal has got that sumthing....his strength is his acting and i am sure he will be as good as nana or nasserudin one day...he has a long way to go.

Second, yeah it is about marketting..but who markets just anybody?..SRK appeals to the MAJORITY..if he plays a billion diff roles people would take him more seriously HENCE a better actor...because nobody acts for the director and themselfs..they act for that crowd...Nana is taken seriously only in limited roles...and yes in those roles he's better than srk could be....but as an "ACTOR"..and for that universal appeal SRK is better....acting isnt just about acting..you have to suit the character..and appeal to the audience...Nana does not suit every character..thus nobody bothers to market him with time..or energy..nor does anybody bother watching him over and over..because he cant interest the audience as much

for how long was iq in kth...for a week or two...he was amazing......he was new to this tapori kinda role.......i think he did a convincing job....but as shourya he doesnt have much to do.....am bored of his character.......ekta shd give him more versatile roles...an am sure he will do it great.

And your analogy of the Nana Patekar SRK scenario was perfect! Popularity is all about marketing and not about acting...😳😳 Good marketing can make a world of difference..... Thats exactly my point... Being popular does not mean being a good actor... It means good marketing...😳😳😳

By the way... Iqbal has had his good days with acting... But in MY OPINION he falls in the category of mediocre actors because he is monotonous in his acting... I realised that after I saw him play Raghu in KTH... His "Aye mamu" was so unconvincing...

May I just add... Iqbal couldn't do justice to his roles in the movies, either... and these roles went all unrecognised! Those movies flopped big time. If his acting was that convincing, we've had heard of him before "Kaisa" also. It's also the roles a person's playing, I guess. Not EVERY actor is Amitabh Bachchan to portray every single character and deliver every dialogue perfectly, you see!
