Iqbal Khan celebrates his birthday while shooting

Iqbal Khan, better known by his popular character Angad (of Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hain) has more than one reason to celebrate today. Khan turns 26 today and will be celebrating his birthday at Sankraman Studios, where he will be shooting for Kaisa Yeh… till the wee hours. "I am working round-the-clock and have no time to party, so I think this is the best way to celebrate. I have never had a birthday bash in my life since I was in a boarding school. My birthday celebrations were always quiet affairs," he says.
However, he does plan to take a break from work to meet his girlfriend Sneha at Bandra. "She is very special to me. She brought a cake for me and I have promised to be there to cut the cake," says Khan. If his work-load prevents him from celebrating his birthday away from the constraints of the sets, this schedule is expected to spill over to the weekend too. "I will be shooting for Deal Ya No Deal with Mandira Bedi. They have invited Neha Bam and me for a Valentine's Day special," he adds.
The last year proved very lucky for Khan – he won six best actor awards for his role as Angad. "I attribute this success to hard work and the blessings of my parents. On one hand these awards give me confidence and on the other they make me nervous because I have to live up to expectations now," he says.
